Heavily implied while being infected by Parasite Skibidi. <- period Titan Speakerman is aware what happened to him but is unable to control his own body. Some of his unintelligible voice can be translated as a warning to the Alliance to stay away from him or a plea to help free him from Skibidi control. This may be true, <- comma as he felt immense guilt about what he did in episode 57 after being freed from the parasite control.

Much like Lucky Cameraman, it's unknown if they are part of the Secret Agent collective due to being his creation or because the Secret Agent recruited them to his collective. Unlike Lucky Cameraman, they are never have POV-Camera, <- comma leaving this situation a mystery.
When talking to Plungerman, it seems there is another Green-suited Cameraman with a black tie instead of a dark green tie handing a document to Secret Agent. It's unknown if he is one of the twin brothers of the twins or another Cameraman who shares their suit due to being part of the collective.
Being members of Secret Agent Collective, they wear dark-green suits and ties with lime green shirts.
After their supposed deaths in Episode 69, it is seen that their "ghosts" appear in front of the lift door staring at Plungerman. Then, <- comma after the mission succeeds, they flash a green-light at Plungerman <- no comma so Secret Agent can deliver a message and then incinerate him for knowing too much about the Complex information.
In Episode 69, the Twins are supposed to be Killed Off for Real by Michael-Jackson Skibidi Toilet. They are, however, return again and look unharmed in episode 70. It is implied that they use invisibility or teleportation to avoid from Skibidi attacks.
Much like Lucky Cameraman, they are often being seen in some episodes. Unlike him, they are often as minor or a cameo characters and never become POV-Camera.
A special Scientist Cameraman with a black tie who is often seen with Plungerman. He and the other Scientist Cameramen are responsible for creating the Alliance technology, <- comma including the Parasite Disabler Guns.
It seems that he is this for Plungerman. They often seen together in missions or during free time. He is also visibly distraught to see Plungerman's death in episode 72. In some Camerawoman flashbacks in episode 73, if Dave and Cathy were heavily implied to be Plungerman and Black Camerawoman's human forms, then there is a possibility that the blond scientist who talks to them was him as a human, <- comma meaning that he is one of Plungerman's oldest companions.
He survives and still active with Camera Mech as a device to help him walk in episode 54. He regains his legs in episode 72 as he has no problem saving the abandoned Camera Mech from destruction.
He is the only Elite Scientist Cameramen who survives the G-Man Toilet and Infected Alliance members rampage in episode 36, <- comma as he must survive so he can continue to develop Parasite Disabler Guns to save the others.
He is visibly shaken, <- comma in grief and slams his fist on the monitor after seeing Plungerman's death from his mech.
After the death of many Elite Scientist Cameramen, he becomes more active on the battlefield to help The Alliance with his PD-Guns and Camera Mech, <- comma making him considered one of the Elite Fighters in Alliance.

Thanks
- Ensemble Dark Horse:
- Reasonable Authority Figure Sheriff Bowman and his Creepy Good crocodile-hunting companion Shurkin are probably better-liked than any of the eight college kids the movie focuses on.
- City Mouse, Annabelle is one of the least prominent kids, but staying out of the more annoying antics of most of her friends and getting a few decent moments of mourning or being an Action Survivor earns her some fans.
- The Scrappy: Plucky Comic Relief Duncan is such an obnoxious, reckless horndog and Manipulative Bastard to his "friends" that his survival met with a very negative reception from most fans.
- Unintentionally Sympathetic: While Sunny is constantly trying to steal Brady back from Claire and ignores his signals, she does seem to feel a bit bad about this at times and is being subjected to low-key Gaslighting about Brady's desires by Duncan as part of his own implicit efforts to score with Sunny and/or Claire after Brady breaks one or both of their hearts. Between that, her concern for her friends and nerve-wracking terror after the crocodile attacks, how Brady isn't exactly the most faithful boyfriend, her foot injury in the final act, and her drawn-out death scene after she gets her hurt foot stuck and can't escape the approaching crocodile, many fans end up feeling at least a little sorry for her.
- During her decade growing up in the Citadel, Was Furiosa a complete loner who only learned to trust and work with people because of Jack or did she always have a confidant or two offscreen?
- Does Chumbucket help Furiosa to just try and be helpful, to show off the car he is working on, or is there a chance he could recognize her from her time spent as an incognito mechanic?
Among the many reasons Mad Max: Fury Road is an Out of the Ghetto action movie is the number of complex characters who can be read multiple ways.
- Given that she was supposed to be hauling food, water, and milk but is actually carrying gasoline, did Furiosa somehow make the switch herself, lie to the workers that Joe wanted it done, or actually have willing and knowing assistance from a few workers who (like Ms. Giddy) chose to stay behind? According to the prequel, she spent years working alongside the Citadel treadmill rats and mechanics, so she may have been able to make use of some old acquaintances from back then.
- Given their bond and how he seems older than the other indoctrinated War Boys, would Ace have sided with Furiosa if she had laid out her reasons for him and/or he had realized what she was doing before she got most of their crew killed? And did Furiosa hope that she could recruit him once most to all of the others were dead or stranded behind them, or did she always know they would end up fighting each other if he survived long enough?
- Did Furiosa deal with the Rock Riders in good faith? Her comment that she had a deal with them but isn't sure if it's still good could be referring to either how she didn't expect such a big pursuit (especially since the prequel reveals that she is more used to Joe displaying Pragmatic Villainy than the crazed and unrestrained determination he shows in this film) or how she did anticipate it but wasn't sure how the Rock Riders would react.
- Given how Immortan Joe is a Dark Lord on Life Support who currently only has Inadequate Inheritor heirs, are the Bullet Farmer's Trigger-Happy actions in pursuing the Wives (at least one of whom is already pregnant) mere Ax-Crazy recklessness? Or is he deliberately trying to ensure that Joe will die without a perfect heir, which could make it possible for the Bullet Farmer to take over their empire? Or does he just feel that they are too dangerous to take alive after the defiance they displayed in escaping?
- In contrast to the Bullet Farmer, the People Eater does want to take the Wives unharmed, but his referring to them as "assets" indicates this isn't out of any sense of morality or personal regard for them. Is he also invested in Joe's plan to produce a heir (but to a far, far lesser degree than Joe)? Does he just want them back to calm Joe down and rein in his newfound recklessness? Given how old and infirm Joe is, does the People Eater want the Wives for himself once Joe dies, or to sell them as Sex Slaves or use them as Milking Mothers?
- Does Max propose taking over the Citadel solely to keep his new friends from taking what he views as a riskier option of looking for something else across the salt flats? Or does he also want them to take that action on behalf of everyone else in the wasteland that he has spent so long suffering in and provide peace and security to the masses?
- Is Corpus Colossus actually loyal to his father, or does he merely work so hard on his behalf to avoid being cast off as dead weight? His absence from the prequel, where Joe has other advisors at the Citadel and is implied to have fathered lots of additional children with birth defects, could indicate Corpus's position in the Proud Warrior Race Guy society (which he probably knows he has no chance of ever ruling himself even if everyone above him dies) is a precarious one, and he seems more worried about how everyone else is reacting than sad or angry when he sees his father is dead.
- Are the Vuvalini who stayed in the fallen Green Place to become Crow Fishers stubborn fools clinging to a dead dream or innovative and brave people who avoided giving up on a dream just when things got tough? Are they on good terms with the Keeper of the Seeds and her band despite their different methods of survival? Did one group kick out the members of the other?
- Ensemble Dark Horse:
- Absent-Minded Professor Kayle is more of a background character for most of the series, but his moments in the limelight in Royal Airs make him highly entertaining.
- Gamareno, Jiramondi, and Gregorrio, the three Inadequate Inheritor (at least in the eyes of their close-minded society) cousins from Jeweled Fire, add a lot of color and depth to that book, as do Corene's three fellow potential royal brides, Melissande, Liramelli, and Alette.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: The implied looming civil war in Berringey from the second book never does get revisited and nothing is revealed about Rafe and Gyaneth's cousin beyond what Gyaneth says about her.
- Small Name, Big Ego: He often acts like he has plenty of the brains and charm of the duo of him and Jerry, but his plans tend to be chaotic and cause a lot of trouble, and the other animals often view him as The Friend Nobody Likes.
- Depending on the Writer: They are portrayed as innocent kittens entering Heaven in their first appearance and are bystanders in some of their other episodes, but are malicious troublemakers at other times and Badass Adorable Mooks in Tom and Jerry: A Nutcracker Tale.
- Blonde, Brunette, Redhead: A Palette Swap means the only difference between them is that they have black, tan, and ginger fur, respectively.

- Death Seeker: Robert accuses Sturdy of wanting to die too fuel his martyr complex and the only reason that Sturdy hasn’t died already, despite Sturdy not trying to defend himself, is because his body is so sturdy.
- Disproportionate Retribution: While Sturdy was trying to persuade a reluctant Robert to join the Freedom Riders, Sturdy actually begins to force him into join the group and putting Robert in harms way when Robert rightfully call out Sturdy for being a Death Seeker rather than a Well-Intentioned Extremist.
- Dumber Than They Look: At first Sturdy appears to be a well-educated civil rights activist, but as the episode progresses he actually has no idea what he’s doing, with his actions only causing harm on his own side while having accomplished nothing beneficial regarding civil rights, and is remember in the present day as an insane idiot.
- Genius Bruiser: Subverted. While Sturdy appears large and well-educated, he actually has no idea what he’s doing resulting in him making stupid decisions that lead to many of his supporters getting injured and doesn’t even fight back against his attackers. In fact, he’s even remembered as an insane idiot who has accomplished nothing.
- Made of Iron: Sturdy’s body is so Sturdy, when attackers try hurting him, they end up hurting themselves, all while Sturdy makes no effort to intentionally defend himself.
- Meaningful Name: Harris’ first name is Sturdy, which puts emphasis on his body being Made of Iron.
- Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist: Robert accuses Sturdy that, for of his talk on how deliberately putting civil rights activists in danger (including himself) will to support equal rights for marginalized groups, Study just wants to die so that he could be remembered as a hero.
- Secretly Selfish: When Robert calls out Sturdy on how his action had put everyone in dangers, he also accuses Sturdy for having selfish reason behind his actions in that Sturdy has no interest in supporting civil rights but that he wants to die being remembered as a hero.
- Ironic Hell: While the revised future should be the ultimate Happy Ending since everyone got a happy and fulfilled life, it’s absolute hell for Eric Cartman since he usually enjoys seeing everyone miserable, especially Kyle. It’s also implied that everyone got their happy ending because they decided to cut all ties with Cartman and since he’s a massive Attention Whore, being completely alone while Forced to Watch everyone, including Kyle, ignore him and enjoy their happy endings has made Cartman extremely miserable. It also doesn’t help that he’s become a homeless alcoholic who's done nothing with his life.
- Ship Sinking:
- Despite Yentl assuring Cartman that they’ll meet each other again in the revised future, any chance of Cartman actually meeting and forming a relationship with Yentl (or any woman for that matter) gets completely destroyed when Cartman becomes a homeless alcoholic who’s completely alone, while it’s implied that Yentl has married Kyle instead.
- Wendy’s relationship with Darwin seems to have completely disappeared in the revised timeline where Wendy acts flirtatious with Stan, implying that she’ll settle down with Stan in this timeline, while Darwin is nowhere to be seen.
- Catharsis Factor: After leaving the audience at limbo for almost a year regarding Heidi’s fate after she broke up with Cartman, it’s satisfying to see Heidi as her skinny and healthy Nice Girl self, which confirms that she has indeed completely recovered from the abusive relationship she endured last season. It’s even more satisfying when she’s seen sitting near Kyle, with the latter seemingly forgiving Heidi for her past actions while implying a possibility of a romantic relationship between the two to resume.

My sandbox of EPs and other stuffThanks, Arivne.
AmbiguouslyBi.Western Animation
- WesternAnimation.Totally Spies: While Clover is usually a boy-crazy Smitten Teenage Girl and a Dude Magnet, she is shown to be very infatuated with her pen-pal Delphine in season 7 and notably acts like a heartbroken, but accepting Hopeless Suitor when Delphine goes out with Mei Lin instead. However, nothing is confirmed and official posts have stated that the two are only friends, keeping it ambiguous.
- Elseworld: The imprint is the Trope Namer after all, and naturally, most of the stories in the line tend to be set in widely different alternate realities and time periods from the main DCU, giving authors a chance to play around with well established characters in interesting ways without breaking the main DCU.
WesternAnimation.Hero Of The Rails:
- Artistic License – History: Hiro is stated to be one of the oldest and first engines on the Island of Sodor. However, the dates don't match up, as Hiro's real life basis (the D51) was built in 1937, two decades after the canonical foundation of the North Western Railway in 1918 (according to The Island of Sodor: Its People, History and Railways). This also means Hiro is younger than almost all of the pre-existing steam engines on the island, including Thomas himself.
- Just Train Wrong: The Japanese D51 would not be able to run on British standard gauge track, as Japanese trains (except for the Shinkansen bullet trains, which run on standard gauge) are narrow gauge engines and most of Japan's rail gauge is 3 ft 6 in, smaller than the standard British rail gauge of 4 feet 8.5 inches, meaning Hiro would've been too narrow and small to fit on Sodor's standard gauge track.
YMMV.Hero Of The Rails:
- Franchise Original Sin: While Hiro is not the first international engine, he would inadvertently kickstart a trend of the show introducing international engines to the show, which became a criticism in the later CGI seasons, especially in the Big World, Big Adventures! era, However, Hiro is a fan favorite, as while his Japanese nationality is a big part of his character, he is still a well-developed and fleshed out character in his own right with strengths and weaknesses like the other engines, while later international characters would end up being accused as either too stereotypical to the point of being Ethnic Scrappies or too flawless by comparison. Many see the later international characters as Mattel trying to replicate Hiro's domestic and international success without understanding why he worked.

Fan-Preferred Couple cleanup thread- G.I. Joe: A Real American Hero (Marvel): Captain Minh is a fisherman and implied The Vietnam Vet who is repeatedly hired to ferry people to Cobra Island incognito. He is a bit of a Deconstructed Character Archetype, as both times, he gets his boat destroyed for his efforts and is stranded on the island and left struggling to survive.
- Tales of the Jedi: Hoggon is a spacer who is hired by Ulic Quel-Droma to find him an out-of-the-way planet for his exile, and is later hired by people seeking to find Ulic to take them there as well.
- Cold Mountain: While Iman and Veasey are fleeing from the Home Guard, they have to hire the services of a girl in a rowboat to get across a swamp, a job she takes due to her distaste for the Confederate forces governing the region and how she is able to shake them down for higher than her usual rate due to the closeness of their pursuers.
- Star Wars Legends:
- Republic Commando Series: Ny Vollen has a regular route between Coruscant and Mandalore and smuggles clone deserters (and later Order 66 survivors) past the authorities on many of those trips.
- The Bounty Hunter Wars: N'dru Suhlak is a hunt saboteur who accepts jobs to ferry wanted fugitives through areas where bounty hunters are waiting to intercept them and take them to regions beyond the reach of the hunters.
Tropes in the movie:
- Adorably Precocious Child: Lu likes to feed Patrick's dog, watch cartoons, play with dolls, practice math, and bicker about brushing her teeth, but also is smart enough to figure out that Patrick and Jack both loved her late mother, due to how they both have pictures of her, and manages to trap an attacking zombie in the basement.
- Elite Zombie: After nine years of dying off from cold and starvation, the remaining zombies have evolved to hunt by smell and not sight, communicate with howls, and develop a Healing Factor. Fortunately, their evolution also eliminated their infectious bites, so they can't turn humans into zombies anymore.
- The Last Man Heard a Knock...: Double-subverted. Jack, Patrick, and Lu assume they are the last three people in the world but still send out radio broadcasts that they hope other people will hear. Patrick eventually does get another voice on the radio, but it turns out to be his own subconscious hallucination. However, later, they run into a traumatized pregnant woman on the road who reveals that there are lots of other enclaves out there, something which is confirmed when they get a genuine call on the radio.
- The World Is Just Awesome: The wintery landscape is beautiful if sometimes ominous, and the characters occasionally find joy and awe in it, like Jack and Patrick watching a sunset and Lu sticking her head out the window to look at the trees and feel the wind during her first car ride.

@Ensemble Dark Horse / Pokémon
- Iron Crown is the most popular out of all the future versions of the Swords of Justice. Its design is much more impressive compared to the previously introduced Iron Leaves. It has also proven to be popular in competitive play, thanks to its dual typing and Signature Move, Tachyon Cutter. It also helped foreshadow that the final future Paradox Pokémon coming in the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion would be just as cool as Iron Crown. Being based on Cobalion helped draw a lot of interest towards Iron Crown.
- Iron Boulder has its own fans to its robotic design. It is seen as an improved version of its present ancestor, Terrakion. Additionally, it has a very useful Signature Move, Mighty Cleave that makes Shield moves useless.
Thanks, Arivne.
BrokenBase.Sonic The Hedgehog:
- Should the Freedom Fighters (from Sonic SatAM and the Archie comics) appear in the modern games and other media? Some argue they're best left in the past, viewing them as artifacts from a bygone era that would not fit with the current brand and lore. Others, however, argue that they can be reimagined to suit the current brand if necessary (as the Truer to the Text post-reboot Archie Comics demonstrates), and that them being Exiled from Continuity following Archie's cancelation is insulting to their long-lasting legacy and to fans who grew up with the characters. This debate has only intensified as Sticks and characters from the IDW comics and the movies began making appearances in the spin-off games and supplementary material, which has led fans to accuse Sega of being hypocrites.note
YMMV.Shin Godzilla:
- Misaimed Fandom: Former Japan prime minister Shinzo Abe has reportedly praised
the film for its "pro-Japanese nationalistic" themes and portrayal of the Japanese government. However, the film is extremely critical against the Japanese government for their ineptitude in handling Godzilla and is meant to be a Take That! at the real government's poor handling of the 2011 Tōhoku earthquake and tsunami and the subsequent Fukushima Nuclear Disaster.
Trivia.Sonic The Hedgehog IDW
- Screwed by the Lawyers: Ian Flynn has implied on a few episodes of the BumbleKast that this is why the Freedom Fighters (and by extension, other characters from Archie) were unable to be carried over to IDW, as there are allegedly legal issues with Archie Comics preventing their usage in other media.note Sega has also implied that this is the case, as when a rep from fansite Sonic Stadium attempted to ask Takashi Iizuka on the possibility of the Freedom Fighters returning in a 2024 interview in a 2024 interview, a Sega rep stepped in to reply that they're working with IDW, further suggesting that legal issues are the reason for their absence.
YMMV.Batman 1969:
- Common Knowledge: Given Batman's reputation as a serious hero, many assume the show's campy and humorous tone stems from Narm, leading it to have a So Bad, It's Good reputation amongst fans. However, contrary to popular belief, the show is a parodic comedy that is meant to be campy and humorous, meaning all of the supposed moments of Narm and the like are completely intentional.
YMMV.Godzilla:
- Comedy Ghetto: A lot of the goofier films — especially the later Showa era films — tend to fall into this, with many fans, especially Western fans, dismissing the films for their absurd and goofy antics, with even some fans of those films liking them more for ironic reasons. Tellingly, the most successful and widely beloved films in the franchise tend to be the darker and more serious films, like the first film, The Return of Godzilla, Shin Godzilla, and Godzilla Minus One.
- The Inverse Law of Fandom Levity: The Godzilla franchise, while certainly not immune to silliness, consists of many dark and serious films that can at times lean into borderline horror. However, the Godzilla fandom tends to be very lighthearted and silly, with even the darkest films in the franchise receiving cutesy fan-art, parody comics, and memes.
