This thread is for tropers who have trouble with English and would like some help with the crazy grammar of this crazy language.
Write down what you wish to edit on the wiki. If you have been suspended from editing, another troper might be kind enough to edit for you after your suggestions have been corrected.
The thread is for help and feedback on your own suggested edits.
If you want help correcting other people's edits (e.g., if you find a page which seems to have grammar problems but want a second opinion, or you don't feel able to fix it by yourself) then that's off-topic here, but we have a separate Grammar Police cleanup thread
that can provide assistance.

I'm here to fix my grammar so I can edit again.
Hate Sink: This version of Velma is the most hated out of the characters for being such a massive Jerkass Hypocrite of a racist. This cumulates in the season 1 finale when she twerks over the corpse of Fred's mother (the said serial killer) right in front of him and locks her father, his girlfriend, and her half-sister (who is only a baby) out of the house.

For FanPreferredCouple.Comic Books:
- Justice League of America: Batman and Superman are both canonically paired with Catwoman and Lois Lane respectively, but a large group of fans ship them together instead, due to the two's very close friendship and them being the most well-known DC heroes. On most sites, Bruce/Clark easily outrank any of their canon ones.
- Justice League International: Ted Kord has multiple canon love interests, most notably Melody Case, but most fans prefer to ship him with Booster Gold, due to their close friendship and feeling that they have better chemistry.
Any corrections?

- Another reason Alola succeeds in completing Ash's leap to not only its first-ever champion but eventually World Champion as well can be traced back to, among other things, him and Pikachu having actual mentors to help them buff out those rough edges, Kukui for Ash and Tapu Koko for Pikachu.
Characters.Tokyo Xanadu Morimiya City
- Token Heroic Orc: While Greeds are known for creating chaos and destruction, Rem helps the heroes and is more keen to "observe" things than participate in harming people.
VisualNovel.Jack Jeanne
- World of Technicolor Hair: Various characters have hair colors ranging from bright red, purple, pink, green, blue and everything in between and it is never commented as unusual.
- The Apothecary Diaries' author, Natsu Hyuuga, has openly voiced her disdain for Jinshi and is rather annoyed that he became a bigger deal later in the story.

For Recap.SCP Foundation SC Ps 6000 To 6999:
- Emotional Regression: As a result of Papa's abuse, Vane's mental state shows a slow but noticable regression: He starts the article of as a twenty-year old college student before his voice starts to mimick that of a pre-pubescent boy and eventually begins to mimic the behavior of an infant near the end of the article by laying down in a Troubled Fetal Position and wailing like an infant.
- Not-So-Well-Intentioned Extremist: While he claims that he sold the Vengestone mined by the enslaved Munce and Geckles in order to use the profit of his slavery to keep his people happy by maintaining Shintaro's prosperity, in actuality he's a greedy tyrant who's only interested in feeding his own ego by ensuring that his vision of a "perfect" and "glorious" kingdom becomes a reality.

Quick addition I'd added while you were editing.
- Hang Time: Each of the three head cheerleaders in the show is a good friend of the basketball players and has many positive traits. Mary Beth is a Lovable Alpha Bitch who mellows out and is a Plucky Comic Relief character and sometimes Extracurricular Enthusiast who eventually takes over managing the basketball team, Amy is a Naïve Everygirl, and Kristy is The Cutie and a Butt-Monkey.
- The Hate U Give: Given how the story revolves around the shooting of an unnamed black teenager by a cop who goes unpunished, the police force doesn't come out shining, but Star's uncle is a cop who seeks to arrest people who are genuinely endangering the neighborhood while also being outraged by the shooting.

"I can still point out some corrections needed in this thread, so yeah."
^ You made an English "correction" that was factually false (assuring NicMasterTrope that they were "ready to go"). If they had believed your false statement and made the edit with all of those English mistakes, they could have been suspended from editing and it would have been entirely your fault.
^ If you continue to do this after my warning and the moderators find out about it, they could conclude that you are deliberately lying to posters on this thread to trick them into getting in trouble, and you could receive an even greater punishment for your misconduct than a suspension from editing.

This especially culminates in the season 1 finale when...
^ If it "especially culminates", that means it would have to culminate more than once, which is impossible since a culmination by definition can only occur once.

Hello Ive got some more trope entries to check for spelling and grammar errors.
Invader Zim: Enter the Florpus
- Bittersweet Ending: How this movie ends, albeit learning more on the sweet side. Dib is able to save the Earth from Zim and learn that his family does indeed love him, while the Universe is finally free from the Tallest and the Irken Armada’s tyranny. However, no one, including Dib’s father, believes that Zim is an alien, while Zim has deluded himself into thinking that he has beaten Dib, meaning that Zim will still be a menace to Dib with Dib still needing to expose Zim to the world, thus confirming that their feud is far from over.
- Badass Adorable: Charlie is a very cute, pretty, and sweet girl who also happens to be the 3rd most powerful being in all of Hell.
- Bittersweet Ending: This season ends with Bruce Wayne getting arrested, Harley and Ivy ending up on opposing sides in the battle between good and evil, and the original Harley crew getting permanently disbanded. However Bruce entrusts Barbara Gordon to lead the Batfamily to fight crime in Gotham City while he’s behind bars, Harley gets accepted into the Batfamily, and Ivy reassure her that while they may be on opposing sides, they will always love each other and remain a happy couple.
Characters.Little Witch Academia Diana Cavendish
- Ambiguously Gay: While the anime prefers to avoid romance altogether, Diana does have shades of this, as she shows no romantic interest in Andrew or Frank during their visit to Luna Nova, unlike her fellow students and her roommates (though her relationship with the former is revealed shortly after to be frosty), while also having some subtext with Akko, who she acts like a Tsundere to, even confessing her "feelings" for her under the influence of the Cupid Bee. She also noticeably blushes when Akko hugs her in the post-episode 20 illustration

Trivia.Outrun:
- Inspiration for the Work: Yu Suzuki has cited The Cannonball Run to be the main inspiration for the game in Retro Gamer #156.
- Refitted for Sequel: Turbo OutRun is set in America, which was originally planned to be the setting for the first game, only for it to be rejected in favor of Europe.
- What Could Have Been: According to an interview in Retro Gamer #156, Yu Suzuki originally wanted to use America as the game's setting. However, this was rejected by then-SEGA president Hayao Nakayama, who suggested Europe instead due to finding the USA to be too unsafe. Suzuki would ultimately go along with Nakayama's suggestion, concluding that America was too big and empty for the game's design. Turbo OutRun would revisit this idea.
YMMV.The Batman 2022:
- Base-Breaking Character: Despite only appearing in The Stinger and a deleted scene, the Joker's appearance has quickly divided fans. Some are thrilled to see the Joker and are interested in what this version has to offer in the future. In contrast, others have groaned in annoyance at his appearance, namely due to being sick of him after his constant appearances in past media and seeing it as a sign that he will once again take the spotlight away from Batman's other rogues. There's also his more disfigured appearance compared to other versions. Some are okay with it, arguing that it makes sense given he was dumped into a bunch of chemicals, while others find it to be far too much and wish the film went for a more traditional Joker instead, especially since many found the disfigured Joker idea has become seen as overdone following The Dark Knight.
Adaptational Friendship (launch pad entry):
Anime & Manga
- Little Witch Academia (2017): In the original short films, Akko and Diana hold a mutual disdain for each other and never go past being antagonistic rivals. While Akko and Diana initially dislike each other in the series as well, the two eventually become friends by Episode 20 after the two come to better understand and respect each other, while working together to save each other and stop Daryl from taking over the Cavendish household.
YMMV.OutRun:
- Aluminum Christmas Trees: While the Testarossa's convertible appearance is assumed to be a case of Artistic License – Cars, since the real-life car is not a convertible, Ferrari did produce an official convertible version of the Testarossa named the "Testarossa Spider", which was originally commissioned and owned by then-Fiat chairman Gianni Agnelli and remains the only one of its kind. Coincidentally, it was produced in 1986, the same year OutRun was released in arcades.

- Official Couple: Sakuya and Aine's romantic bond flourished during Volume 1, but it wasn't until the start of Volume 2 that they mustered the courage to express their true emotions to each other. Once they opened up honestly, they immediately clicked, and their relationship grew even more profound. However, it wasn't long before things started getting complicated.
Guess I should have said three days in a row
@ Supernatural Or was she even there doing those things at all, given how archangels have mental projection powers and Michael could have made them hallucinate the whole event rather than even needing to use the real Anna for Engineered Heroics.
- The Shoot the Shaggy Dog Story deaths of the occasional character who dies in a Cruel Twist Ending (like Magda, the psychic woobie Ketch kills) are things some fans won’t acknowledge.
- Fanon Discontinuity: Even fans who appreciate a lot of Season 3 would like to ignore parts like the flu outbreak killing so many people in the Time Skip, Asha being written out of the show after a few episodes, and LJ and Oz ultimately ending up as enemies and dying after the previous season and early season 3 episodes made fans like their Heel–Face Turn potential.
- Snowpiercer: Most of the police figures aboard the train carrying the remnants of humanity work to keep the elite in power and the lower classes and stowaways in line through intimidation and occasional brute force. Stowaway Andre Layton is belatedly and grudgingly assigned to the police force to investigate a murder, due to none of the other ex-cops on the train having homicide investigation experience. He uses his position to serve as a mole for the train's rebels, and as an Internal Reformist, initially being the only good cop on the train, but gradually winning over some colleagues.
- In the Jack Campbell short story "Kyrie Eleison", the Watch is a group of people among the stranded tribe of shipwreck survivor descendants. The Watch provides security and enforces the rules for the tyrannical ruling class of the group. When another spaceship finally arrives to rescue them, but its crew feels disinclined to take the tyrants to safety as quickly as their victims, said victims do vouch for a few more people, including a solitary member of the Watch who they call a good man.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Weather Wizard's baby son Josh, who is legally adopted by the Flash family, is a very cutely drawn infant who melts a lot of hearts every time he is on page while having interesting powers and the potential to have interesting interactions with his father and The Flash family once he gets older. His Collateral Angst fate while he is still a toddler pissed off a lot of readers.
