- "Sing"
is one of the most iconic and beloved songs in the show, and for good reason, as it is a simple, timeless, and joyful song that will last your whole life long and make you want to sing, sing a song. This song is only made better by the Carpenters' beautiful cover
of the song, which rose to #3 on the Billboard charts in 1973. They also added a second verse to the song that ended up being adopted by Sesame Street itself for later versions of the song, bringing things full circle.
YMMV.Spider Man 2:
- Crossover Ship: Some fans ended up shipping Peter Parker with Astarion from Baldur's Gate III thanks to a photo-edit of the two
from RockRider that ended up getting retweeted
by Yuri Lowenthal (Peter's VA), who jokingly stated that the two made out after the "photo" was taken.
- Ensemble Dark Horse:
- While he only appears in "The Laughing Merman", Eugene has quickly become the fan-favorite of the third season due to his fun and entertaining showman personality, becoming one of the show's more memorable antagonists.
- Despite Louise only appearing in full in "The Laughing Merman" (with her other appearances being brief cameos in "The Forgotten Lake" and "The Fairy Isle"), many fans ended up loving her due to her quiet and observant personality and her fun dynamic with Hilda and her friends, with many wishing she got more time in the spotlight.
Trivia.Luca:
- Approval of God: Kenna Jean Harris (story lead of this film and director of Ciao Alberto) supports the Luca/Alberto ship and has created shipping fanart of the two
, including one where the two kiss under an umbrella.
- Staff-Created Fan Work: Kenna Jean Harris (story lead on Luca and director of Ciao Alberto) has created some "unsanctioned" shipping art of Luca/Alberto

- In general, the strong performances of guest victims (especially surviving ones) are often just as well-remembered as the killers, but Damsel out of Distress Kelly Dalton, one of the first such characters to survive the show, is also one of the best-remembered for the fight she puts up.
- Seeing intended victims from two separate attacks survive "Charm and Harm" can evoke warm feelings, between how the first one is saved by a Heroic Bystander whose arm she clings to while sobbing in relief and the second one (who has a husband and kids) fights so hard to live and ultimately does.
- In the otherwise grim "North Mammon," JJ comforts a traumatized kidnapping victim by telling her that the trauma will fade one day, and in the meantime, she can take comfort in how much her mother cares about her and worked to bring attention to her disappearance and bring in the team for the search.
- The beginning of the episode has a Conversation Cut scene as a Ladykiller in Love and his latest date both excitedly talking on the phone to friends about how much fun they just had, although an appearance by the killer quickly ruins this.
- In the "Reese Joins the Army" two-parter, Hal is made The Scapegoat for his company's white-collar crimes, and at first, he is unable to make head or tail of the specific dates he's accused of committing various misdeeds and thus can't contradict them. However, once he learns that every date on that list is on a Friday, he can remember an alibi: he's been skipping work every Friday for over a decade (something he can amply document).

@Arivne got it, thanks.
- Foe Yay Shipping: Since Mario and Bowser are depicted as friendly enemies who play various sports together, the two are a surprisingly popular ship, especially with the idea of turning Bowser into a woman.
- Unintentionally Sympathetic: A huge contributor to the Imperium of Man’s popularity. Despite being a horrific dystopia, being the central focus means writing keeps putting its characters in a sympathetic light. Not to mention that the enemies of the Imperium are, by and large, just as evil as imperial propaganda makes them out to be, especially Chaos. As a result, it becomes easy to root for the Imperium when it is faced by enemies seeking humanity’s annihilation, or at the very least, see the Imperium less as a cautionary tale on fascism and more as a victim who became a bully.
- Unintentionally Unsympathetic: Perturabo has had attempts to write him as sympathetic by showing how badly the Loyalists and Traitors alike treated him. The problem for his detractors is that all the moments where he was written as a petty jerk who committed horrific atrocities while lacking any sort of Freudian Excuse like the other Traitor Primatchs still exist in the same continuity.
This work doesn't have pages for either of these so I plan to make some.
- The entire fight in Tyrannosaurus rex vs. Palaeoloxodon namadicus:
- The larger elephant charges the dinosaur. The T-Rex proves far more nimble than it appears, dodges out of the way and bites the Palaeoloxodon’s rear leg. In response, the Palaeoloxodon attempts to push the Tyrannosaurus away and shows its sheer power by picking up the dinosaur and shoving it back.
- After realizing the danger of the Palaeoloxodon's tusks and seeing how hard it is to get around them when the elephant understands the Tyrannosaurus's greater agility, the dinosaur sidesteps a charge from the elephant and bites onto one of its tusks. The analysis stated that a Palaeoloxodon's tusk would be hard to break even for the powerful jaws of a Tyrannosaurus. The dinosaur still manages to do so when the elephant tries to shake it off by rearing up and stomping, the impact breaking the tusk the T-Rex bit into.
- The Palaeoloxodon does not let losing a tusk slow it down, and seeing the T-Rex is up close, grabs its neck with its trunk. While the Tyrannosaurus shakes free, the Palaeoloxodon uses the opening to push it over. With the dinosaur knocked prone, the elephant gores with its good tusk. While Tyrannosaurus is clearly dying from the wound, the Palaeoloxodon still isn’t finished and brings its front legs down on the T-Rex and crushes the life out of it. Having beaten the Terrifying Tyrannosaur, the Palaeoloxodon raises its trunk to the sky and trumpets in triumph.
- Tyrannosaurus rex vs. Palaeoloxodon namadicus gives the Terrifying Tyrannosaur a frightening set of bright yellow eyes that the audience gets to see many times in a shot where the dinosaur is looking straight at the viewer. The image gives the feeling it is about to rush at the audience to try to eat them.
- The same episode hammers in that being a herbivore does not make an animal friendly by showing real footage of African elephants attacking rhinos, and the Palaeoloxodon namadicus featured in the battle dwarfs the modern day elephant and even the T-Rex.

For Overshadowed by Controversy Video Games:
- Zettai Zetsumei Toshinote : While the first three games receive good reception, it's hard to discuss the fourth game Disaster Report 4 Plus: Summer Memories, which received a mixed reception in general and being widely despised by fans, without mentioning several criticisms below:
- The "White Shirts Society" arc has the protagonist joining the cult by two of the followers. The problem is that the player is forced to join it and has to convince weak-willed disaster victims into joining White Shirts Society (as joining cults and their brainwashing activities are already sinful in general), although at the end of said arc has the protagonist, who is chosen Lord Hakuya (the previous cult leader) to become a new cult leader by, steals the assets of the cult and disbanded it by betraying its followers.
- The "Miracle Water" arc has the protagonist scamming the victims inside the evacuation area by giving the "miracle water"note , which is already immoral. Like the aforementioned arc above, it's a fixed route. To make it worse, when an overseas student Danny and evacuation victims find your ruse, both the protagonist and Danny get thrown by said people with rocks, forcing the protagonist to scapegoat Danny and throw rocks at him like other people. When you visit the devastated Housenka Shopping District, Danny's found badly beaten and the protagonist can't help but move away to the next subplot. Unlike previous games, all cruel actions are more hilarious and optional.note
- Most infamously, near the end of game has Natsumi Higanote shoves both the protagonist and her student Hirokonote to save them, only to get immediately crushed by a collapsing building milliseconds later, and she's found immobile and bleeding. To make it worse, the fourth game takes place 4 months after the third game (if you can do math) and she's confirmed to be dead when you check the radio in-game and there's no other way to save her, unlike previous gamesnote . Not just the fans refuse to accept her death or find it unforgivable, the protagonists' rescue events with her throughout the series ultimately became meaningless and Harsher in Hindsightnote . Not to mention her death and the aftermath are treated in a rather half-assed mannernote , which many fans find it unfunny and alienates some players who don't mind about her death. The fact that Kazuma Kujo admitted that the decision of killing Higa off was decided when he developed the fourth game for PS 3 before the Great Tohoku Earthquake, only add fuel to fire. The Epilogue DLC (which takes place 5 months after the main story) doesn't make it better. Instead of retconning the main story or adding Higa's survival route, Higa remains dead in said DLC, and the protagonist and Masayuki Sudonote can't help but offer flowers at the location of her death and pray for her soul.
- Right after Higa's death, the situation worsens when Yayoi Kasahara, one of the female deuteragonists of the game, gets sexually assaulted/raped offscreen by the same two thugs who attempted to rape the female protagonist and Kanae (another female deuteragonist) at the first half of the game with no way to prevent the sexual assault towards her. The Epilogue DLC attempts to fix this by allowing the protagonist to fight against those two thugs via a parodic Street Fighter-esque Fighting Game and after defeating them, they run away but get caught by the police offscreen, and Yayoi's letter plus her photograph to the protagonist at the credits scene reveals that she's alive and well. But this remains criticized because it would have been better if the protagonist gained superhuman abilities and fought against two thugs before Kanae and the protagonist get their hands and legs tied by them or Yayoi gets caught by them.
- The producer of the series, Kazuma Kujo, said he wants to make the fourth game more realistic, such as events of people's misbehaviors because they're affected by disasters, hiking the products' prices during disasters, stealing things from burned buildings, etc. However, the overly exaggerated realistic issues and having unrealistic elements, the egregious Happy Ending Override, the protagonist becomes much more incompetent, helpless and is forced to do bad things, bad people goes unpunished (though, except Snake Snake and those two thugs in the later story) and good people suffer badly to make players feel bad rather than depicting harsh reality, unlike previous games. Because of these, the fourth game is criticized for being too dark that even the hilarious and fourth-wall-breaking dialogue choices, goofy costumes and the Golden Ending are rather disproportionate to the amount of irrevocable loss and negative events that occurred in the later half of the main story. Not even the Epilogue DLC will lessen the damage caused by the main story.

Blue
- Adaptational Heroism: While not a villain in the games, Blue only exists as an opponent for Red to defeat and doesn’t show concern with anything else, most blatantly being when Team Rocket has taken over Siph Co. Blue only shows up to battle Red and then leaves. The manga instead sees him help Red against Team Rocket and becomes an ally for the remainder of the series.
Pokémon Red and Blue - Protagonists and Rivals
Blue Oak
- Adaptational Heroism: While not a villain, Blue in the games exists as an obstacle in Red’s journey. Adaptations give him moments where at least calls the police when Team Rocket is holding Siph Co. hostage rather than doing nothing like his game counterpart. "Pokémon Adventures" sees him personally help Red battle Team Rocket and become an ally against future villains.
Rugrats S 6 E 5 Submarine Chuckies A Lefty
- The Alleged Car: Larry's cars are all junk. A tire on the first one he tries to sell pops, and another one is in such sorry shape that Tommy and Chuckie, two babies, push a door off its hinges.
- Obviously Evil: Lou calls used salesman "sharks." Looney Larry’s hair is shaped like a shark’s dorsal fin, and he is introduced with an over-the-top Jaws-style theme while Finger-Tenting. The babies imagining him as a literal shark doesn’t look much more blatantly villainous than the real thing.
- Papa Wolf: Lou comes with Stu to Looney Larry’s car dealership under the suspicion that his Horrible Judge of Character son will get scammed if he goes on his own. He is right, as Stu is oblivious that Larry selling is cars that are clearly pieces of junk.
- The Adventures of Superman features a story arc where Superman battles against a a thinly veiled pastiche of the Ku Klux Klan. The story famously tackles themes of racism, discrimination, and how people who exploit racial tensions are out to make money off gullible people who want to feel better about themselves by thinking they are better than someone else. This was in 1946. As the storyline’s themes became more relevant in the 2010s with rising racial tensions, its popularity led to a modern reimagining that didn’t need to change the political commentary.
- Signature Series Arc: "The Clan of the Fiery Cross" is by far the most well-known arc of the radio series to the point where it is famous even among people who are not familiar with the rest of the series. It was even given a modern reimagining in comic form.

- Creator Backlash: The former CEO of Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer at the time of Disney-MGM Studios' opening — Kirk Kerkorian — hated that Disney used the MGM name for the park, especially since Disney was one of the studio's biggest competitors and the deal was reportedly done by the board behind his back. Unsurprisingly, MGM and Disney did not get along well and the two studios would get into various legal fights over the usage of the name (especially in the earlier days when Disney-MGM Studios was used as a studio and when MGM attempted to enter the theme park business themselves). Eventually, Disney had enough of MGM and would ultimately drop the name in 2008 in favor of Hollywood Studios. Likewise, MGM has refused to acknowledge the park.
- Screwed by the Lawyers: Because of constant legal fights with MGM, who hated that Disney used their name for the park, Disney would drop the MGM name from the logo in 2008 in favor of calling it Disney Hollywood Studios.

@Ensemble Dark Horse/ Pokémon
- Galarian Weezing became popular due to its thematic design and being one of the very first Poison/ Fairy Types introduced. Plus, its signature ability Neutralizing Gas helped Pokémon such as Regigigas and Slaking become serious threats without drawbacks. This ensures Galarian Weezing's place as a valuable ally.
- Ursaluna easily became one of the most popular evolutions introduced in Pokémon Legends: Arceus. Not only does it help bring the Teddiursa line's moon connection full circle, but it even has a cool evolution condition that suits it. This evolution helped save the whole evolution line as a whole and gave the first proper quadrupedal Bear Pokémon. Plus being very useful in finding hidden items certainly helped boost its popularity.
- Wyrdeer is beloved due to its badass deer design and Santa Claus look. This cool deer not only won people over but it helped hype players on other classic Pokémon getting ancient badass evolution. Being the first Ride Pokémon introduced in Legend Arceus, it gave one incredible first impression.
- White-Striped Basculin and its Epic Evolution Basculegion are easily one of the coolest fish introduced into Generation 8. It not only has a dark and sad backstory but also has a spiritual look that fits the region it was first introduced. Both male and female designs certainly helped ensure people would want to catch it. Being the first Legend Arceus Pokémon to catch in The Teal Mask in the beloved Timeless Woods ensures people want to obtain this ghoulish fish.
- Hisuian Qwilfish introduction in Pokémon Legends: Arceus was met with praise and fans due to its better typing as Dark/Poison and goofy yet scary evolution Overqwil which was foreshadowed in Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl. It truly embraces the Painful Pointy Pufferfish archetype in a cooler way. As one of the Hisuian Pokémon to return to the Indigo Disk and change evolution conditions help ensure people will love and use this ancient fish as an ally in their team.
- Walking Wake is easily one of the most popular ancient Paradox Pokémon introduced in Scarlet and Violet thanks to its awesome dinosaur-cat hybrid design. Being based on the popular fan favorite Suicune mostly certainly helped. Not only does it have the popular Water/Dragon typing, but it also has an awesome Signature Move Hydro Steam which becomes stronger in the Sun weather instead of weakening. It also helped foreshadow that other Paradox Pokémon based on Legendary Pokémon will be coming in the Hidden Treasure of Area Zero expansion.
- Bloodmoon Ursaluna proved to be just as popular as the original Ursaluna from Legends Arceus. This bear takes the moon theme even further than ever. Being tied to Perrin's side quest and plenty of homage to Legend Arceus most certainly helped. Armed with a powerful laser of a signature move called fittingly Blood Moon and Mind's Eye, it is a terror to Ghost types. This makes Bloodmon Ursaluna a powerful special attacker to use in competitive play.
- Taught by Experience: As the young captain of the Straw Hat Pirates and their expanding network of allies, Luffy embodies one of the primary reasons behind their impressive accomplishments- his willingness to learn from his experiences and adapt to different circumstances. This is especially true after completing Rayleigh's two-year training. He embarks on a perilous journey through treacherous waters, including the Grand Line, where he faces numerous obstacles and adversaries, such as the Marines, Shichibukai, and Yonko. Despite the challenges he faces, Luffy's journey enables him to enhance his combat and leadership skills, which continue to improve as he strives towards his ultimate goal of becoming the Pirate King and fulfilling his unknown dream.
Aine
- Be Careful What You Wish For: Aine has always found the idea of becoming a lyricist thrilling. Her chance encounter with Sakuya, however, brought about a series of events that would change her life forever. Their whirlwind romance is intense, but it is also fraught with difficulties that left Aine in a world of hurt. Despite the hardships, Aine is determined to see her dream and romance through to the end.
- Covert Pervert: It's remarkable to consider that a girl with such a mild-mannered demeanor could produce alluring and provocative lyrics, all inspired by her intense feelings for Sakuya.
- Teen Genius: Played With: At the age of 17, she has shown exceptional talent as an erotic songwriter. However, in other areas, she is rather average.
Edited by jahman on Jan 8th 2024 at 7:28:16 AM
- I Resemble That Remark!: Discussed and Played for Laughs in "Why Does Everyone Believe Anything On TikTok". When the girl in video tries to deflect that she would never leave a hate comment, Danny shows a comment of her making a hate comment against the Kardashians. He then gives an example of that exact behavior saying he would "never talk shit about anyone" and that he never "call Timothée Chalamet a little bitch".
Edit: Added another
- A Sign of Affection: The protagonist, Yuki Itose, is a sweet-hearted college student who is deaf and as such, she never talks, only communicating through sign language, writing or texting. However, the audience can still hear her inner thoughts.

The Populars are jealous of Betty-Anne's sundae and try faking being injured so they can get a Junkyard Sundae as well.
