- A God Am I: Unlike most of example, he doesn't said "I am a god" directly. Instead he said that he is "future of human species" that can change human race into better without emotion to his ex-teammate during their final confrontation. Its still has meaning that Aaron feel that he is above of humanity.
- Butt-Monkey: Aaron receives very lousy treatment from the Numeros when he first joins them, such as gets punched by Trez because of how loud he was being, then being used as puppet by Cinco and Cero by controlling microbugs inside his body. Since Aaron is full-blown egomaniac thirst of being respected, he definitely deserve this.
- Fate Worse than Death: Aaron could just kill his one of his ex-teammate to make sure that no one can mess his experiment again. However, he choose to make him to be his first lab-rat of his invention by altering his mind state. Judging from ex-teammate expression, full of fear and trembling, its definitely not a good fate for him.
- Small Role, Big Impact: Aaron ex-teammate only existed in flashback. But his action such as beat Aaron due to his selfishness during science resulting on Aaron have massive superiority-complex, invested a device to altering human emotion then alliance himself with The Numeros.
- Jerkass Has a Point: Sure Aaron ex-teammate beating Aaron after Science Fair looks like petty and mean-spirited bully and Sore Loser at the best. But Aaron takes their credit to satisfaction of his own ego during Science Fair, doesn't learn for his mistake and thinking that he is above from everything resulting on him see Aaron as delusional fool.
- Mad Scientist: Aaron claim that his invention will guide humanity into better future. However, since his magnum opus are a device to altering human emotion and mind-control, his morality definitely worth to be questioned.
For Complete Monster.

Quick addition
- Enigmatic Minion Hopscotch from Coyote Moon is a big part of why that novel is as highly regarded as it is.
- The various Big Bads of the Christopher Golden and Nancy Holder novels are among the most frequently praised ones in the Buffy EU for their interesting backstories and formidable natures, but even among that ensemble, a frequent favorite is Veronique from Immortal (a vampire who possesses a new vampiric body every time her old one is staked).

Season 2 of Bo Boi Boy Galaxy. <- period In the arc focusing on learning his 3rd tier form, Bo Boi Boy and his team meet three direct descendants of the original Elemental Master. <- period With the exception of the "Windara Arc" and "Rimbara Arc", "Windara Arc" where Bo Boi Boy meets Kuputeri since she is still alive and well, while in the "Rimbara Arc" there is no mention if King Balakung has a descendant since they only meet Gaharaum, Balakung's best-friend and royal chef. From a mini-story about the Hang Kasa flashback, the unmasked King Balakung resembles an adult version of Qually with long hair and beard. There is the possibility that Qually and his parents are his descendants. But for some reason, his descendant doesn't continue his position as King of Rimbara because they need to hide from Retak'ka and any bad guys after Balakungs death. This could be true, <- comma because Qually already knows about Gaharum, determined to be his student to become the greatest chef in the galaxy and possibly want to get the Oakuat Seed to get some hidden power.

Thanks, Arivne.
- All for Nothing: Subverted. Hilda initially assumes that her efforts in decoding the radio frequencies in search of her father were all for naught after it was revealed the frequencies come from Victoria Van Gale. However, a day later, Victoria ends up bringing a guest onto her radio show... her father, making her realize that he is in Fairy Country.
- Nice Job Breaking It, Hero!: After some progress had finally been made, Frida's town hall meeting goes completely sideways after Hilda and Tontu notice the Nisse that stole her radio and promptly chase after her to get it back, sending the other Nisse into a frenzy and undoing any progress Frida might've made. She gets promptly called out for this by Frida once they get home.
- Not in This for Your Revolution: Hilda is way too preoccupied with finding her father to care about resolving the Nisse conflict and initially only joins when she thinks the Nisse know where he is (they don't). Eventually, she ends up completely wrecking Frida's town hall meeting after she notices the Nisse that stole her radio, not realizing what she had done until she gets called out by Frida. She makes up for it by the end.
- Foregone Conclusion: While Frida had good intentions, as Tontu indicates, the idea of a town hall meeting trying to get the Nisse to talk to each other was a bad idea that was doomed to fail, given how viciously territorial and distrustful the Nisse are of each other.
YMMV.Hilda:
- Harsher in Hindsight: Louise is often ignored and forgotten about by the other Sparrow Scout members due to her incredibly quiet nature, and even the main trio weren't aware of her existence until the scout leader calls out her name. This becomes quite sad knowing that she effectively disappears after "The Laughing Merman" outside of a couple of blink-and-you'll-miss-it cameos. She is so quiet and on the sidelines, the series itself forgot about her.
- Ships That Pass in the Night Many have quickly begun to ship Anders/Bellkeeper not long after Season 3 thanks to a single interaction between them in the final episode, where they briefly bump into each other during the Bird Parade. It probably helps that Bellkeeper was theorized to be Hilda's father until it was de-confirmed in season 3 and that Anders is Hilda's actual father.
- Aborted Arc: Hilda being Frida's familiar is completely dropped in season 3 and is never acknowledged by anyone, not even by Frida and Hilda themselves.
YMMV.Shaun The Sheep:
- More Popular Spin-Off: To Wallace & Gromit (where Shaun originated from). Although Wallace and Gromit is far from unpopular and is arguably more iconic in pop culture as a whole, Shaun the Sheep has become the far bigger Cash-Cow Franchise for Aardman, with the series having spawned six seasons, two movies, several video games (including a crossover with Super Mario Maker), a theatrical show, and even its own spin-off series in the form of Timmy Time.

- Fire Emblem
- Fire Emblem: Genealogy of the Holy War: Emperor Arvis is the central antagonist for most of the story and Seliph's main goal is to take him down in order to put an end to The Empire's tyranny. After The Emperor's death, the Final Battle begins.
- Fire Emblem: Thracia 776: General Reinhardt is the last general of Friege fought in the game and one of its most dangerous bosses. Following Reinhardt's demise, Leif faces Raydrik and Veld in a row.
- Fire Emblem: The Binding Blade has General Narcian, the member of the Wyvern Generals who faces Roy on a regular basis. Narcian is taken down two thirds of the way through the game and is the first general who is Killed Off for Real.

- Company Town: Half of the people in Greenbush, New York work for Interflux and the company is willing to pressure the town government into being a Rules Lawyer and targeting their enemies with various obscure ordinances, as well as officially classifying an obvious creek as a stream due to streams being allowed to have more factory pollutants in them.
- Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Every time Phil attempts to deliberately invoke True Art Is Incomprehensible for art class rather than put in hard work and thought (like by putting a wedding cake on the roof of his car and driving through a car wash), he just makes a mess and/or comes up with something that most people find unimpressive.
- Yoko Oh No: Simon and Phil disapprove of the effect that dating Barbara has on their Clueless Chick-Magnet friend Sam as he feels too insecure to express interest in all of the stuff that once made him so fun to hang out with. Sam agrees with them and decides he and Barbara are Better as Friends.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Plot: Some fans wish that some of the deleted subplots and world building from the original pilot (the maintenance of the train archives-mixture of oral histories and written records- and midwestern greenhouse families being almost at the bottom of the pecking order-just above the tail section stowaways-but still doing work that mattered to them) had been preserved in some form for the show, even in a lesser capacity.
- A lot of the scenes where Ed further develops his shaman skills.
- In "The Letter," he is able to partially see the outline of a vision manifestation that Maggie is having and even chats with her about it.
- In "Sons of the Tundra," Ed is able to see a vision of the future showing himself being injured and starts working out the medical treatment beforehand.
- In "Sons of the Tundra," Michelle wades up to her torso into a freezing river to retrieve a lost computer part rather than have an injured Ed do it.
Another is Angelo Maxwell, the new town barber from "The Letter," who has a decent following for being in Witness Protection, having some Awesome by Analysis moments and being played by Bill Cobbs.
- The Remnant: The Whole Episode Flashback "Zarya" features Princess Anastasia of Russia, who survived the Revolution in secret and is living in secret in an Alaskan colony with a handful of soldiers, a minister, a priest, and a few servants, while warily conducting peace negotiations with Vladimir Lenin.
- The past Slayers from the Tales of the Slayer short stories mostly work well as the protagonists of self-contained short stories, but it can be disappointing that Beatnik Zoe Kuryakin from "Undeadsville" (who manages to keep her soul after becoming a vampire but chooses to commit Suicide by Sunlight rather than work to be a Friendly Neighborhood Vampire), Pirate Girl Robin Whitby, Asha Sayre (a black Slayer who dies too early in her war with vampire members of The Klan), and carnie Slayer Millie Rose Gresham have so little of their adventures shown.
- In the Tales of the Slayer novella "Ch'ing Shih", most of the orphaned girls Xiaoquin has been protecting are Red Shirts when they could have been her version of the Scooby Gang.
- Zombie Apocalypse Hero: John is just a helicopter pilot, but he kills more zombies (mostly with his gun but some by bludgeoning them) than any of the soldiers and is the character with the best lan on how to survive long-term.
- Ensemble Dark Horse: Patrick (for getting some creative zombie kills and arguably being A Lighter Shade of Black in the relatively unpopular Feuding Families plot) and his zombified, horse-riding daughter Jane are just as popular as the main characters if not moreso.
- They Wasted a Perfectly Good Character: Few fans have anything good to say about how ultimately insignificant and unfortunate of a role Only Sane Woman Janet gets.
@ Power Rangers Beast Morphers
- And I Must Scream: While she is comatose, she has full memories and awareness of what the evil Avatar that is doing.
- Aluminum Christmas Trees: Many fans think the Kosters are Allegorical Characters, but they were real people involved in the Danish Resistance, although their story is dramatized.
- Ensemble Dark Horse:
- Brave young student resistance fighter and Sacrificial Lion Jorgen is a big favorite despite his secondary role.
- Georg Duckwitz, The Mole undermining the plans to deport the Jews, may not appear too often, but provides some of the most powerful scenes in the movie.
- Signature Scene: The Nazis launching their raid on Rosh Hanash and finding most of their Jewish targets already gone into hiding is one of the more iconic bits of the film.
- So Okay, It's Average: The actors do a good job and the subject matter is a stirring one that deserves attention, but the low budget and occasional use of clichés keep the movie from achieving true greatness.
@ Cheating Death: Those That Lived
- From 24 Tributes: The Howling Island:
- Acura has a very compelling A Death in the Limelight, and some fans wish she had been an actual Victor in the main story.
- Audi from District 6, Cotty from District 8, and the so-far unnamed girl from District 3 have been getting a good bit of praise and attention even before getting their own POV chapters.

- The Emperor: The leader of the Evil Empire that attacks Sky Land.
- Gold-Colored Superiority: He wears a golden mask, necklace, and belt. He's also the show's ultimate bad guy.
- Greater-Scope Villain: He's the father of the main antagonist and the previous leader of the main antagonistic faction.
- Hidden Villain: Prior to Episode 44, his daughter was set up as the biggest antagonist. Then he shows up and proves to be worse than her.
- Predecessor Villain: He attacked Sky Land in the past and fought against Cure Noble, Cure Majesty's precursor, 300 years prior to the main story.
- Red and Black and Evil All Over: He wears a red and black outfit and is The Emperor.
- Satanic Archetype: He's an Evil Overlord who is dressed in red and black, rules over a land that has an underground motif and has a goat theme. On top of that, he's the Greater-Scope Villain.

- And You Thought It Would Fail: While fans exited for seeing Mechamato, many of fans doesn't really expected the show will as memorable as BoBoiBoy due to being series prequel and almost feel separated from BoBoiBoy Series since its rare to mention something that connected with it. However, since the show have more improved animation, aired in both Cartoon Network and Netflix, and hire professional cast both in local dub and internasional dub like in English and Japanese, Mechamato become quickly popular among local fans and non-local fans. In 2023, Mechamato eventually won "Anime Fan Award" at the 2023 Tokyo Anime Awards Festival (TAAF), became the first and currently only non-japanese animation won the award.
