its amazing
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~CiviaSo Canada's the tundra civ.
Alas, Antarctica, you shall have your chance another game.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!I'm amused by Rinks providing food. Those hot dog stands are working hard.
Also missed a beat by not having Hockey rink double as military production facility. Ever seen hockey riots?
But I thought you can have hockey rinks outside of snow in real life :thinkingemoji:
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.Emoji actually work on this site iirc 🤔
Well, you can, but speaking as someone who lives in Dallas, rinks here are hard to maintain during the summer for obvious reasons.
Qui odoratus est qui fecit.workable mountains hory shiet
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~Civia- Mountain tiles can be worked for +2 production
- Mountain tiles gain +1 food per adjacent Terrace Farm
Leader Ability: Qhapaq Nan
- Domestic trade routes provide +1 food for every mountain in their origin city.
Unique Improvement: Qhapaq Nan
- Has all the movement advantages of a Mountain Tunnel, can be built with a Builder charge
- Can be built with the ancient-era Foreign Trade civic instead of the usual modern-era Chemistry technology.
Unique Unit: Warak'aq (Replaces the Skirmisher)*
- 40 ranged strength, up from 30
- May attack twice in a turn if movement points are remaining.
Unique Improvement: Terrace Farm
- Can be placed on grass, plains or desert hills (but not tundra or snow hills).
- +1 food, +1 housing per two Terrace Farms (this doesn't appear to be the same as getting +0.5 housing like a regular farm)
- +1 food per adjacent mountain
- +2 production per adjacent Aqueduct
- +1 production if adjacent to fresh water but not an Aqueduct
- (Gains extra yields with later technologies/civics)
The Inca has stole Hannibal's thunder.
On a more serious topic, Inca is awesome so far. The Warak'aq seems a bit OP, though...
I'm not as witty as I think I am. It's a scientifically-proven fact.Apparently, another unit was revealed during the Inca livestream... guess who's back?◊
"I've come to the conclusion that this is a very stupid idea."well shit now i want to play domination victories again
"Have a good day. Have a good week. Have a good month. Have a good year. Have a good life." ~Civia...are we getting Ikari Gendo as Japan's new leader, by any chance?
Spiral out, keep going.Get in the fucking robot, Gandhi.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! But it doesn't have any nukes!
I'm having flashbacks to my first Civ 5 game where Suleiman destroyed with his giant killer robots
New theme music also a boxKronk meme lmao
Death is a companion. We should cherish Death as we cherish Life.First Look: Mansa Musa leads Mali
Civilization Ability: Songs of the Jeli
- City Centres gain +1 faith and +1 food for every adjacent desert and desert hills tile
- Mines receive +4 gold, but -1 production
- May purchase Commercial Hub buildings with faith
- -30% production when training units or constructing buildings
Mansa Musa's Leader Ability: Sahel Merchants
- International trade routes gain +1 gold per flat desert tile in the origin city.
- Every time you enter a Golden Age, permanently gain +1 trade route capacity.
Unique Unit: Mandekalu Cavalry (Replaces the Knight)
- Traders on a land tile and within four tiles of this unit cannot be pillaged.
- Gains gold on kills equal to the killed unit's melee strength.
Unique District: Suguba (Replaces the Commercial Hub)
- -20% gold and faith purchase costs for units, buildings and districts in this city.
- +2 gold per adjacent Holy Site.
- Does not receive +2 gold from adjacent Harbours.
- Probably -50% production cost as well in line with existing unique districts.
Jeezus Crikey. The "buy everything with gold" civilization we didn't know we wanted, but is what we needed.
I like how some of these civilizations really go after a change in basic play style.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I’m imagining Musa literally constructing buildings, improvements and even units out of gold coins.
This is pretty much what I expected from Mali, particularly Musa. A Civ that was just all of the money, all of it. If we ever get Sundiata Keita as a second leader, I’d expect his focus to be acquiring gold to feed a military.
I cannot wait for Door Monster to make a skit out of this.

"The difference between reality and fiction is that fiction has to make sense." - Tom Clancy, paraphrasing Mark Twain.I imagine this is what it's like to go to war as Mansa Musa.
You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique! We must never doubt or question the evil that is Gandhi. He's pleased I keep the peace but he's scared that I'm threatening, so he declares war. Madness, pure madness.
"But don't give up hope. Everyone is cured sooner or later. In the end we shall shoot you." - O'Brien, 1984My favorite is how "I am going to flex my power over you by demanding free resources" operates off of how much the AI hates you rather than how strong their military compares to yours.
So you have silly scenarios like your warmongering hordes sweeping over the entire continent, building up a massive empire that dwarfs every other nation in size and military power, yet Gandhi and his two measley cities on a crappy peninsula sees fit to accost you for some cacao under penalty of war.
"My demands must be met."

You cannot firmly grasp the true form of Squidward's technique!Yeah, the AI seems to have no concept of fear. It's kind of silly.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"
It's so delightfully stereotypical.
