Exactly! There were whole towns being aware of the apocalypse! And two seasons later you had a crazy angle doing wonders and turning church windows. There have to be at least some believers out there at this point.
The French Mistake (episode 6.15) pretty firmly did that.
Sometimes I miss that old style.
It would be funny to drop in lines explaining why nobody notices. "I never trust the news." "I don't even know what happens one town over." "It was all a prank by that church to get members."
The eclipse of S7, sun dying in S11 and angelfall of S8 would probably be the undeniables.
I want there to be a race of supernatural creatures like the Reapers, only instead of collecting people who die, they go around erasing people's memories of the supernatural. Only, they can't touch the people who directly interacted with supernatural creatures, just ones that saw teh fallout of supernatural events. So if you ACTUALLY saw and fought a ghost, the thing couldn't touch you, but if you saw a blast of light three houses over, you'd forget.
Say to the others who did not follow through You're still our brothers, and we will fight for youWell Castiel did that to Lisa & Ben in episode 6.21
so they could do something maybe with a class of angel that does that. Structure the story of the Winchesters (or an outsider investigating them) has a missing day and has to put it back together or something.
British Letters woman seems to not get that she started off shooting Sam and has him tied to a chair. What makes her think he is willing to talk about anything with her. Torture certainly isn't going to improve matters either.
"Shall I use you, or make you mine... I'm not so sure what I'll do." - DorthyWelcome to the torture hour everyone!
Gotta love Cas knocking people around when he could just read the info from their minds. *ugh*
Then nobody ever stops to think, "wait, maybe we got off on the wrong foot, let's just have a conversation like normal people."
Remember when Sam was the empathic brother who could usually connect with people and get them to open up to him? Remember when he was the one who was all "we should slow down and think, look for other solutions"? Wish the writers did.
I loved his Badass Boast though and the fact that he delivered. "The Devil himself tortured me... "

You lost! What was she thinking? I thought she has been watching them for a while...does she not know Dean was tortured by Alistair the King of Torture and Sam by Lucifer himself? PFFT She knows nothing about them! Still don't understand why she didn't start out NICELY and ask for their help and I really don't understand what the frak she wants from them!
I'm loving Mary! I just feel sad for Dean because he seems so confused and unsure although happy!
So this episode during the breakfast scene, mary reminded me a lot of Felicia Day. Don't know why.
You lost!Season 3 is shorter because of the writers strike of 2007/8. Yeah, remember that?

You lost!Eh... they pulled it out near the end but it was a bit rough at the start. Apparently because the network "cheated" Kripke there and backed out on some promised budget. Still I am very impressed with how well the crew was able to pull off everything considering all the obstacles that were going on behind the scenes that season. I do wish the show nowadays would go to about 13 episodes to allow more room on the network.
Alice & I talked about that and other rumors listed on the tropes page here
.
So there's something super-dumb to me about Angels talking about heaven like it's the FBI.
My various fanfics.Let down? Because you were a fool that went into it with expectations!
lol
I pretty much expected this to be worse than S9 so so far I've been pleasantly surprised they're actually reaching levels of mediocre competency.
Still wish it had been Michael running about causing mischief rather than Lucifer.
