Manly Guys Doing Manly Things is very, very good. Though perhaps not if you don't like expressions that consist mainly of reaction faces. I enjoy it, though.
"It's so hard to be humble, knowing how great I am."
Agreed. The artist is evidently skilled, and I admire how he gives even minor mooks individualised appearances, but the expressions can get rubbery and exaggerated, which I find narmy when the mood is supposed to be serious. And he needs to work on portraying movement, too. A lot of the time I just don't see the movements the characters are supposed to be executing.

Plus, he's horrible at action scenes. He's been getting better, but he has a long way to go until it's passable.
And he stops drawing females in the same spine-breaking pose.
Read my stories!I rather like Paradigm Shift, especially the big banners at beginning and end of books.
Shinigan (Naruto fanfic)If my memory serves me right (don't count on that), I only posted this twice, one here, one in that Yack Fest. Besides, even if you don't understand Korean (like 99.99% you guys), there's a warning written in blood red color (I repeat, blood red letters) and anyone who haven't noticed what it's supposed to be by then frankly deserves it.
Also, two posts above this post serve very well as a warning anyways. ^_^
EDIT: Oh wait, I take it back. I forgot about the sound and special effect and yeah, I really should have warned about THOSE, sorry about that.
Still, it's neat, no?

Continuously reading, studying, and (hopefully) growing.Wait, there was sound? I am so thankful my computer was muted, I probably would have screamed.
Seriously, that was really scary, but pretty cool.
Go play Kentucky Route Zero. Now.
You should REALLY count yourself lucky because it's the SOUND and the Interface Screw that scare people the most.
I'm translating the comic so if anyone's interested, see here.
A girl walks through a city at night. She sees a person in the distance who turns out to be a... zombie of some kind? Then there is a clackety-clack noise and the comic scrolls up by itself, causing an animation effect with the panels (basically, a zoom on the zombie's bloody face). The girl starts running, and we get treated to another scroll/animation sequence of the zombie somehow flying towards her and crashing into her.
String Theory, anyone? It starts a bit plain but the most recent pages just blew
me away
. Even without the super expressive character designs I could look at the backgrounds all day. And check out this hallucination
sequence
.
Also, I really like Nawlz
for the art. It's interactive, so it's not split up into helpful panels that can be posted in a forum. But this is
◊ the kind of thing
◊, only moving and with music. If you haven't seen it yet you should check it out.
Also going to put in my vote for Hero. In terms
of lighting
and composition
, especially
.

Linked that earlier in the thread...
I like how it uses a form of alt text so word bubbles don't get in the way of the art.
They see me BROLIN, they HATIN'.My favorite would be Lackadaisy. It has a neat sepia-toned 20s feel, and the expressions and poses are very vibrant. Check out her gallery art
.

Not a single person has mentioned Everblue? Shame on you all.
