Jason looked up from his session of intent sidewalk staring to see Reid. He seemed like he had a working phone. Then again, he wasn't really the best judge on those sorts of things. And there was always the ever present danger of asking random strangers in a town he'd never been too for help. But Reid was just a teenage boy, so he probably wouldn't pose much of a threat if he turned out to be a serial killer or something. "Hey! Kid!" He called out.
"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probablyThe teen's failing concentration was finally broken by the average-looking man approaching him.
Somewhat ironic how he wanted his attention the moment the teen came upon the scene, or maybe just another one of those 'by fate' things.
"Yes?" He asked simply. After all, this guy could turn out to be some normal dude, with absolutely no strange voices of mythological figures in his mind. He didn't want to scare a guy like that off, would he?
I'm a ghost, you didn't see me.Casper wasn't happy with all the fuss. After pointless wandering through smoked corridors, he gave up at his search for some kind of a cheerleader and returned to the exit just in time some kind of a van died painfully in the spasmatic cough, leaving the driver in the blue. Perhaps Casper could ask him if he knows the current location of Gwendolyne, though he doubted it. That's when he noticed some teen walking down the street. Driver asked him about some place to fix the vehicle. Sadly, Casper himself didn't know about such a place in Fairview, so he couldn't join the conversation. He inserted the earplugs, but didn't turn on the player, instead concentrating on these two. Perhaps one of them would know about where could Gwen be.
Sorry for such a godmodding, but I thought Casper and Reid should at least slightly interract.
Soiriku suddenly became worried. Who the hell would be so dumb they'd accidentally create a gas cloud in chemistry cloud? There had to be another explanation. Maybe it was a Shadow! Soiriku had guessed Shadows had their own powers, maybe there was a Shadow that could breathe noxious gas.... Soiriku started to panic. If there was a Shadow in the school, it could seriously hurt anyone in the building!

I have the urge to dissect you now...Soiriku pulled out his skateboard. "Wait up!"
Meanwhile, Cass had realized she had left her coat and bag in her school locker. "God-freaking-dammit!!!"
Luckily, she knew a secret entrance into the school so she could get her stuff. She groaned. Unluckily, the passage was near a factory and went through a sewer.
Ten minutes later, she popped out of the maintenance grate and snuck into the school.
She looked for her locker when she noticed something move behind her: a black puddle.
"After math from chemistry class?"
Suddenly, the black ichor revealed it had a blue mask and lunged at her.
"GYYYYYAAAAAGGGHHH!"
Cassandra tried to retreat, but slipped.
Oh god, I'm gonna die!
She began hearing a voice in her head:
''I am thou....thou art I. Open your eyes, and may my sleeping eyes guide you."
She found a card had appeared in her hand: it was a red and black checkerboard pattern behind a similarly colored mask of a sneering grin. Child of the Reversed Hermit Arcana, your awakening is now.
She suddenly felt the urge to crush the card. The card burst into a heatless ball of violet-black fire.
She screamed out one word befor crushing the card in her fist.
"PERSONA!"
The sound of breaking glass filled the hallway. A man covered and bound with multiple leather belts materialized behind her. He carried a shepherd's cane, and he spoke with a soft but commanding voice: I am Endymion, the eternal dreamer. Use my power, child, or submit to fate.
Cass instinctively raised her hand at the Shadow.
"Zio!"
CRACK!
A bolt of lightning jumped from her outstretched hand and struck the Shadow.
She kept her hand raised, a shouted: "Pulinpa!"
The Shadow suddenly became dazed and confused. Cassandra fired of one more Zio bolt and fell to her knees in exhaustion.
"What...the helll....was that?"

I have the urge to dissect you now...Reid had spent some time in Fairview just walking around, so, luckily, he could at least tell the man where that was.
"Yeah. It's a few blocks down." The teen told Jason.
"..." He stared at the guy for one last minute before asking him something that would probably label the teen crazy if the dude didn't understand.
"By the way. Do you have a weird voice in your head telling you to do things? All my friends say they do. I don't, though." He said, completely straight with the man.
He noticed another signature possibly watching nearby. Looked strange. Probably had voices in his head. Maybe.

I'm a ghost, you didn't see me.My, my, looks like we have yet another Chosen One here. Casper said.
Certainly, it would appear that way. Still, he seems a bit strange. His Persona responded.
You mean his straightforward question?
Yes.
Perhaps we should find out. With this statement, Casper closed to the two.
"That's rather unusual question, kid." He said, glancing at Reid. His eyes became conflagrated, just like when he first met Soiriku, Gwen and Gabriel. "Sorry to disturb the conversation, but it so happens that I'm the one that can be described by your question."
Jason fell silent. Had... had this kid just asked him if he was crazy? The man began to slowly back away. "Right, well, thanks for the help. I... can't really say that I do, so..." Then it came. The laughing. The bells. Louder than before. The noise seemed to pound on the inside of his skull before it faded.
Jason shook his head. He paused. He was either going crazy or something was up. "Um... no. But, sometimes, I hear this weird laughing and bells." Something told him that, in answering the question at all, he'd screwed up.

"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probablyReid nodded with curiosity, as the average-looking guy admitted to hearing something in his mind. Then the other, strange looking dude approached, Answering his question towards him as well.
"Ah. Knew it. This is a little hard to explain. That stuff your hearing is your Persona. It's this strange thing that's part of your mind. It will probably annoy the shit out of you if you don't fully awaken it." He rambled on to both in a completely serious manner. Hell, if they thought he was crazy now, they hadn't seen anything yet.
I'm a ghost, you didn't see me.Jason returned to backing away, hands now raised in front of him. This kid had either escaped from some kind of institution or was on something. Probably both. He felt the urge to say something along the lines of 'Back that crazy train up', but he felt that talking to this guy any longer wouldn't be good for his health.
"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probably"..." He noticed Jason now officially looked like he thought the teen was insane. That was kind of inevitable, really.
"Yeah...guess it sounds really crazy. Still, the only other option is admitting that you're just plain crazy. Or both. As in, this is totally real and you're crazy at the same time. I kind of think the latter everyday." Reid stated. Hopefully, the guy would at least hear him out just a bit more before running off, finding the nearest payphone, calling the police, and saying that there's an escaped inmate roaming the streets.
I'm a ghost, you didn't see me.Soiriku thought. He needed to quit worrying about being 'insane'. After all, he just needed to calm down. I'm not crazy. I'm just not used to this situation- and I doubt anyone would be. I just need to get through this. And i shouldn't freak out about Cheng- I barely got to know him. Yes, it's said he died, but I need to move on He smiled. The realization that he was going to be OK really cheered him up.
(OOC: Just so everyone knows, Soiriku's sanity issues are being removed)
I have the urge to dissect you now..."And then you drink poison Kool-Aid and go to Heaven." Jason snarked. He reched into his pocket and fished out a pend and a scrap of paper. "Look, kid, whatever you're on, just amke sure to give these guys a call." He scribled an address and a phone number onto the paper. "They'll help you out with whatever problem you've got."
"You have more than enough potential. So tell me what is the one wish that would make your soul gem shine." -Mitt Romney, probablyAnd then, finally, Stephen and Saito made it to the arcade. Stephen opened the door, and stepped into an Arcadia of light and sound. As always, the arcade was alive with players.
"So," said Stephen, "I helped you out with English, maybe you can help me out here? There's this one arcade cabinet Larry, the owner, bought a few years back for like ten dollars. The gameplay's solid, but it's entirely in japanese, so we have no idea what we're doing. Care to check it out?"
Saito nodded. "I will try to translate it for you, then." He hesitated before adding, "How did he get a Japanese cabinet here, though? We are nowhere near Japan."
DOOD!!!Eran sighed.
He hadn't made much progress with his resumes. It was updated, but references would be an issue. Hopefully employers would understand, though he was only highschool aged anyway.
The main issue with Cheng gone, he needed an address. He could rent a mail box but he'd need cash to start with. Panhandling was an option, but it wasn't one he was fond of.
If he could just get a few hundred a month, he could, however cheaply, he could survive. Provided he could get a flatmate... Maybe Reid, though he wasn't sure read would make enough... Still, something would be available. Hopefully. Though without school, it was possible he could work two jobs.
But before any of that, he'd need to talk to someone about using their mailbox.
And with that in mind, he set out to the same pond where everyone else seemed to congregate.

Reid was wandering, as always. Secretly planning as he strolled down the sidewalk. He thought he could sense an untapped power coming by, though, really, that could be anything at this point.
The only guy he saw currently looked rather normal. At least, when compared to most of the party. Though...he also thought he saw the strange teen from earlier, the one who came by after the whole incident with Cheng.
Actually, there were several roaming the streets...all giving off some kind of signal. It obviously distracted his thinking and was starting to make him feel just a bit nauseous.
I'm a ghost, you didn't see me.
