The Drunk Thread

Happy New Year to whoever's already celebrating this period of great transition! Let's hope the next decade continues to bring more social and economic progress, an end to most wars currently in place (actually doable) and good times to everyone reading this.

I left my banana schnapps at my apartment before going home for winter break.

I had two Seagrams with dinner (one black cherry and one Jamaican Me Happy). They were pretty good, though now I’m paying for it with a stomachache. x_x

Strangely I never feel that way with Coke & rum. :S

Bump. I... think I set my sights too high with my choice of cocktail last night. I had a Caipirinha (one of my friends recommended it to me). It was good. :) Though I... think I chose a larger glass than I should have. x_x ^_^;;

Been debating using that Starbucks pumpkin spice flavor coffee creamer instead of half and half to make a White Russian, only calling it a Basic White Russian lol.

Caipirinha is the one that's basically rum, ice, and cane syrup, right? Or is that a Cuba Libre?

Rum, ice, lime juice, and sugar.

As a Thanksgiving tradition for me since 2014, I'm fucking hammered on Wild Turkey 101.

I am now a fan of White Russians. :)

After today's events I'm gonna be drinking heavily on my coming days off.

I'm a bit tipsy from a couple of glasses of wine and a beer.

Is it weird to simultaneously enjoy a Friday night and at the same time feel this burning resentment of your hometown for being full of a bunch of whiny, petty, ungrateful assholes?

I can't drink due to my epilepsy but I love cooking with it. If my boeuf bourguignon is anything to go by, red wine compliments richness. It would taste good with a strong cheese.

Oh dear. I had a Jameson & ginger soda with dinner, and it's making me lightheaded. ^_^;;

Also, I'm no whisky expert, but bought some colorful Justerini & Brooks (blended scotch whisky) just because I like the yellow and red packaging colors. Sue me.

I just saw a COVID vaccine commercial where everything was going backwards. I... don't think I should be watching something like that when I'm wobbly from Coke & rum. ^_^;;

So I’m having lunch with my father at Olive Garden, and not only did the waiter give me an excellent margarita, but he also gave me a smaller glass of a sweet-tasting tequila to go with it. Aw man, this is going to make the nap I’m going to take later feel even nicer.

I maaaaayyyyy come here closer to the weekend.
