Oh, I know how shitty Crunchyroll is.
So, what was that first post a response to, then?

Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position. There are still plenty of legitimate avenues to watch anime without piracy.
You don't seem to be paying attention to the fact that this topic is about countries and regions that do not have any legal avenues.
The problem is that a lot of anime got region block, meaning fans from some countries have no access to the anime the legitimate way. Basically like console exclusive, fan of the series could be lock out of that series because of the company playing exclusive, thus piracy is the only way to get access to those.
E.T technically is a Isekai movieYou guys got my hopes up. I thought the band got back together with this bump.
Find the Light in the DarkThe thread title really needs changing then to reflect they are no longer The Two best friends
New theme music also a boxMaybe "Super Best Friends Play"?
Seriously, what can we call it? Former Zaibatsu Affiliates?
By the by, new LP by Matt and Liam, it's about The Ring: Terror's Realm.
Just finished a re-watch of all the David Cage Playthroughs. Ordering them from worst to best I'd say:
Omikron: The Nomad Soul < Indigo Prophecy < Beyond: Two Souls < Heavy Rain < Detroit: Become Human
The LP's, or the games themselves?
Oh, there is no way I'd play through the actual games. I mean, I might be willing to give Detroit a try, but just watching someone play Omikron is enough to cause physical pain. No, I just watched the Super Best Friends playthroughs.
I think Heavy Rain is legitimately good and Detroit Become Human has about a third of an interesting plot with Connor's route, but the rest? Nah.
It's been 3000 years…At then end of Detroit, one of the friends, I think Pat, said "everyone did a really good job, except David Cage," and that, "Quantic Dream could make a really good game, if if they didn't have to listen to David Cage."
Credit where it's due, Detroit has the whole "choices matter" thing down way better than any other Quantic Dream game, and the fact that the developers seemed to have accounted for every permutation, (complete with that nifty flowchart you see at the end of each chapter,) is genuinely encouraging.
Quantic Dream is like Lionhead: If it weren't for the person in charge, their games would probably be very good.
I'm rewatching the God of War LP and it's...actually kind of frustrating. Woolie clearly hates Kratos and he sandbags basically everything with some kind bitter remark. Real shame, because it's enjoyable otherwise.
Find the Light in the DarkGod of War as in the 2018 one?
Also Kratos is indeed contemptible. Even with the character development he went through before the game in this one he's still kind of an ass.
Kratos...really doesn't deserve much less, especially after God of War III.
Trans rights are human rights. TV Tropes is not a place for bigotry, cruelty, or dickishness, no matter who or their position.Speaking of watching old let's plays, I can finally enjoy hearing Pat LP Yakuza 4 after finishing it recently.
Kratos did nothing wrong, the Greek pantheon had it coming.
Find the Light in the DarkI think if you'd happened to have been listening to the Super Best Friendcast in the few weeks preceeding that LP (which I'd hardly expect of someone coming in this late to be honest, but it's just the way I and presumably many other viewers were primed for their LP) then you'd know that the Zaibatsu were firmly in the "Kratos is a massive fucking asshole who can be summed up with the well well well, if it isn't the consequences of my own actions meme, and deserves scorn" camp. So yes, they'd come into the PS4 game being very scathing towards him.
"...in the end the Shadow was only a small and passing thing: there was light and high beauty for ever beyond its reach."I like how Pat just casually drops the news lol
Congratulations to the couple. Sadly they might not have a normal wedding considering the Covid-19 crisis happening right now.
you can stay engaged for years though
Indeed. My brother and his wife stayed engaged for a year before they got married.
So you didn't watch the video to learn how scummy crunchyroll is to their employees, or how the entire argument is about regions that do not have access to any legal streaming sites. Gotcha.
