Indeed, and that's not something I like, especially when a recurring theme of Shonen is that you are worthless alone and must have friend to rely on: the world created by this mechanical logic is completely contradicting this, weak friends are useless at best and a hindrance at worst, so the most powerful are better without friends, and allying yourself with someone of your level is generally useless because what matter is the maximum of your group, not the sum of each of his member.
I disagree with this entry (the awakened ones are in an Enemy Mine situation and I don't think they care at all about the well being of their "juniors"), and I wonder if there is something to be salvaged or if I should simply delete it :
- Chapter 133: As it turns out, Awakening doesn't entirely kill off one's ability to care about one's juniors and fellow associates. In other words, several of the upper level Awakened who were just hanging around watching decide to help the Ghosts confront Cassandra.

Eh, I seriously doubt Priscilla is going to go down like this. It's starting to rather lose the suspense factor when the whole "Priscilla gets taken apart by apparently superior opponent, but regenerates and one-hit-K Os the opponent" thing has been done several times already.
Some of the awakened beings' forms this time are at least a bit interesting though, although some are rather generic. (Freud would have a field day with the one that splits down the middle to reveal an Eldritch Abomination-style mouth.) Octavia's awakened form is particularly interesting - seemingly a mix between Isley's and Riful's forms? Is that just a coincidence?
It has been shown that Yoma can transform their bodies and even become people they eat. Why wouldn't the ones that don't feel the need to hide and keep a certain amount of sanity change into their former bodies?
Not to mention that you have people with hair that can restrain monsters. People who can transform parts of their bodies. Instant regeneration of major wounds. Etc.
Oh, and the whole thing about "half a pill not effecting you at all while a whole one suppresses your abilities and changes your eye color back to normal."
If you are looking for logical inconsistencies, hair color changing is just about the smallest one I can think of.
Yu hav nat sein bod speeling unntil know. (cacke four undersandig tis)the cake is a lie! From what I remember, you have none of the benefits and none of of the default if you take only one half of a pill while you are conscious. However, an half pill worked exactly as a full one on a very weakened soldier who doesn't release a lot of Yoma energy.
That doesn't seems completely unbelievable, contrary to the fact that the author is trying to make us think that Priscilla could die at this point.

It does come down to that fairly often.
