Towns/cities?

You must agree, my plan is sheer elegance in its simplicity! My Tumblr

Shall I go seek out the cap'n and tell him about it?

Wow... This thing actually managed to dodge deletion? I am... Impressed.

I must confess, I have been a horrible GM lately... >_< Being distracted by school, RPs, and all... That said, there's no reason not to put up another topic for a round if the interest is still there.

I see that you guys are interested in doing towns and cities next... Is there a specific region's in particular that you guys feel like doing? Seeing as doing all 60-ish towns in one go seems like it could be a bit of a headache. (However, for the masochistic brave, we could always attempt a tiered round as we did back in the Water-Types round. :P)

Will be tallying up the results from this round tonight for a customary results page. (And yay! Vanilla Pokeball won!)

Perhaps this calls for another tiered round, yes.

Hmm... Looks like we've done a round for Kanto towns already... So that rules out doing all 5 main regions at once (plus the number of towns is unequal unless you omit everything other than the 8 gym towns, hometown, and customary tutorial town)... So... Do you all prefer Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, or Unova?

[up] Why not Johto? We can spin it into a few more rounds, and put off having to think up another subject. grin

And as promised, here's those results:

Round 49 Results:

The Victor:

  • Poké Ball (22/260 points)

Eaten By An Oversized Whiscash:

  • Great Ball
  • Lure Ball
  • Park Ball
  • Dream Ball
  • Sport Ball
  • Moon Ball
  • Safari Ball
  • Timer Ball
  • Cherish Ball
  • Repeat Ball
  • Heavy Ball
  • Fast Ball
  • Love Ball
  • Dive Ball
  • Friend Ball
  • Nest Ball
  • Luxury Ball
  • Premier Ball
  • Heal Ball
  • Level Ball
  • Net Ball
  • Quick Ball
  • Dusk Ball
  • Master Ball *
  • Ultra Ball

And as requested. Plus revisiting one of the hallmarks of Pokemon's early days as a franchise seems like a fitting topic for a milestone round like this one:

Round 50: Towns of Johto *

  • New Bark Town [10]
  • Cherrygrove City [10]
  • Violet City [10]
  • Azalea Town [10]
  • Goldenrod City [10]
  • Ecruteak City [10]
  • Olivine City [10]
  • Cianwood City [10]
  • Mahogany Town [10]
  • Blackthorn City [10]

At 100 points, this will be one of our shorter rounds. Kudos and many thanks to the players who have helped to keep this thing afloat for others to enjoy.

Alright players, which of these towns brings back those memories that you want to keep somewhere deep inside for you most?

Oreochan, you add 1 to one city and subtract 2 from another. That's it.
