Well, I'm guessing Classic Optimus doesn't considering his lack of mouth.
Warpath too.
Also, I was watching the G1 Season 3 episode Only Human (with Cobra Commander OLD SNAKE) and it made me realize something:
All these years, I thought that the fact that GI Joe and Transformers shared a lot of their OST was just the classic studios reusing music from other shows thing, but now it dawns on me that it may have been a way to show the connection (loose though it was since there was never a full on crossover) between the two shows.
....or it really was just them being lazy, but I like my explanation better.
One Strip! One Strip!Beast era was where Optimus first got a mouth if you recall.
Then Cybertron Galaxy Force brought it back nearly ten years later, and since then Mouth-imus Prime has been a thing that keeps coming back.
One Strip! One Strip!I finished the latest season of Cybervese and Netflix rated it "TV-Y7" despite the decapitation and gushing body fluids?! Still has the same flaws; the narrative is aimless, the animation lacks weight, the dialogue delivery is weird. I enjoyed myself but it's more of the same. Was that Lizard Lips? I know it's not the same character but I'm curious what their incarnation will be like.
Regardless of Polygon Pictures' laziness and mediocrity, I'm still glad I loved their work on Prime. If it wasn't for them, I wouldn't have found Ajin (one of my favourite anime).
If the characters are non-human, then it's presumingly fine enough in the United States for a TV-Y7-FV ratingnote . Keep in mind that Transformers: Prime and Transformers: Robots in Disguise (2015) share the same rating, with the former show having much more explicit acts of mutilation and bleeding.
Also, Polygon Pictures didn't animate Cyberverse; that would be the India-based Xentrix Studios via the production studio Boulder Media.

Yes, Cheese breath, that was indeed that character.
As for the rest of the season, certain characters showed up that I didn't expect. And yeah, the narrative seems to be trying to do more than it has time to, but also keeps retreading some of the same story beats.
My problem is that 80% of the time, Optimus sounds like Christian Bale's Batman.

The sad, REAL American dichotomyMasterpiece
Skids
is incoming!
What's remarkable is how Masterpiece Skids looks to be bringing back the initial MP aesthetic of mashing cartoon, toy, and real-life vehicle elements together as conceived by toy designer Shogo Hasui, who had a hand in designing MP-10 through MP-21.
Here, Skids has a head based on what we saw in the G1 cartoon, while his shoulders and thighs are lifted from the shoulders and thighs seen in his G1 toy. You can also make out small details from his Honda City Turbo altmode like the trunk bits in the back of his lower legs.
Based on translations of Takara's tweets, this appears to be the first in a line of Hybrid Masterpiece? It's probably a good call since you'd have to be crazy to conjure a plastic toy that's 1:1 with Skids' animation model...
Besides, Skids has only ever appeared twice in the G1 cartoon.

Will reserve judgement on how Skids goes back to MP's roots for when we see a colored version
That said, mildly annoyed that Skids is getting an MP, when there's far more prominent characters than him who have not had MP figures. Even if we limit to season 1 and 2 (Mirage? Jazz? Insecticons? Any non-Grimlock Dinobot. Any non-bumblebee Minicars? A Grimlock in scale with modern M Ps).
But no, it's literally the show's Z-lister autobot.

Yeah, there's some characters I'd rather see done, instead, who would be in higher demand (like Waspinator, Team Bullet Train, Jetfire, or Rhinox).
The sad, REAL American dichotomyHeck yeah, if we're counting non-g1, the list gets longer.
I was just sticking for G1 to point out that even there, Skids is a weird pick.
Heck none of the post movie Decepticons have had an MP figure. Ditto Kup, Blurr and Springer.
Fucking Skids gets a figure before Galvatron? Before Cliffjumper? Before Perceptor?
Heck with extra irony, one of Skids' only two appearances is in the episode Triple Takeover. None of the major characters of that episode have MP figures. Even the one who crushes him in said episode.

You say that, but I'd almost say it's worst. For all his flaws, and the racism, at least Film!Skids is memorable, in a horrifying way. Like he's in the movie. He's got lines. He's an awful character but he's in the movie enough that him having a figure would make some sense.
G1 Skids is basically a background character that's getting a figure way ahead several main characters.
With respect, I will have you know that Skids was quite the bomb in IDW's More Than Meets the Eye.
The guy could bust a move, knew his way with a nudge gun, and was quite literally the only person to remember Rung.
Never underestimate a theoretician's capabilities.
Someone did a coloring of the schematics
themselves. Not official, but it's something to work with.
As for potential characters who deserve the MP treatment like Jazz, apparently Porsche is still being fickle about having their cars involved in something regarding war.
A) Did you not notice that my avatar is Rung
B) Noticing that you still felt the need to "have me know" MTME plot lines? :-P
C) It's not an MP of IDW Skids, so that entire argument line is irrelevant. The quote youre replying to said show's Z-lister. Not comic or franchise. If this was an MP of MTME Skids, I'd be happy.
RE: Fan colors. Means nothing. Very often fan colors are more interesting than what TT puts out. Like I said, I'll reserve judgement when we see colored version of the irrelevant background character. (Also one should remember that a big part of MTME Skids' entire reason to be is as an in-joke to the original one being such a minor character, but that's neither here nor there).
Aware of that, but that doesn't explain the non license-bound characters like Cartoon!Jetfire, Any of the post-movie cons, Insecticons, Minicars. There's several more important characters not stuck in licensing hell.

....ok man, this is a lot of shade to throw at Skids.
Like I can get it, but you seem to just really resent him.
It's just...is he really worth that level of scorn? The dude is lucky he gets anything at all, while the characters you've mentioned have gotten some figures at times.
One Strip! One Strip!

Dinobot has teeth in his robot mode.
In fact, a lot of characters from the Beast-era have teeth in their robot modes. It'd probably be easier to list characters who don't.
