They figured out a way to make blowing shit up chemically addictive!

What, it's not addictive already?

The snow looked like it might be something at first, but it didn't last. I know by now not to expect snow to. Too bad, though; just when I was starting to appreciate it a bit.

I'm being snowed on, and I didn't even notice when it started. Looks like there will be some serious accumulation by morning.

Maddy: We are supposed to get 8-10 inches by morning. I am so sick of snow.

I say things are slow and then four people suddenly post; lol.

And I was surprised that the snow here was actually measurable in inches. Usually, that doesn't happen.

We had a mere dusting as far as I can tell from work. It is a bit sharpish in the cold with the wind though. I need to start my next patrol early to drive the vehicle around the lot for the night.

1 to 2 inches here. At least that's the forecast. Looks rather like there's already at least an inch and it's not letting up...

I am happy for the dusting I was long tired of snow by now. But the wind has some serious bite to it.

In case I have never mentioned it here before:

Chopping up vegetables and throwing them in a pan with some olive oil and salt and pepper and then roasting them at 425F for about 30 minutes is wonderful. Today it was eggplant, green beans, mushrooms, tomato and cippolini onion. I let it cool down a bit and we ate them at a bit warmer than room temperature. Yum.

Sounds delicious, 'cat.

I am rereading The Three Musketeers after a very long break. It makes me smile, both from the nostalgia and because it's simply charming.

Finished with writing for tonight! Late, but I am very glad I got to that point. I believe it may be one of the most evil cliffhangers I can expect to write in the whole story. evil grin

do that with some ripe acorn squash cat, and it's AMAZING. It's the only way I'll eat squash unless it's Zuchinni or in a pie.

It's freaking freezing in here, so I made myself a cup of coffee mixed up with some of that vanilla/brandy/coffee liqueur we made. Delicious. <3
