It's beginning to look like too many exams at once = catching a cold during exams. I should keep that in mind the next time I take so many credits.

Vitamin C and chicken soup really help. And sleep.

I'm having a must get out of the house and go somewhere moment. I wish that I didn't live on a side of town that was so new. Comparatively. I am in a mood to be around buildings that are at least 75 years old.

I dreamnt I was on the forums last night. Maybe it's time to cut down my form usage a little...

I wish I'd dreamed about the forums.

Instead, I dreamed about being some small humanoid being of indeterminate species that belonged to a university, and as some kind of special project, they surgically altered my body to be identical to a human one. It was all possible except for human feet, so they removed mine and sewed on two from a nameless dead person. The result looked all right, but I had to take a pill every couple of hours for the rest of my life to keep my body from rejecting the new feet, and slowly began to go insane because my alien mind was rejecting my body.

...it was a lot scarier at the time.

ON the subject of helicopters, we had a mild scare at work yesterday. the middle school across the street was on lock down and helicopters were buzzing everywhere. turned out a burgulary suspect was in the area. nothing happened though, other than one of the guys pooping his pants (not because of the helicopters.). le sigh.

I went to the Asian grocery. Soft sesame candy tastes exactly like I thought it would. Like soft peanut brittle with sesame seeds instead of peanuts. The house is covered in sesame seeds.

Mm, some of my favorite candy requires looking beyond the usual American fare. Ginger candy is like crack, for one.

I like ginger candy but it isn't in my top 10.

Edit to add: There is this chocolate covered ginger cookie that I keep wanting to like and I don't.

So, my mom finally gave me her Cake Bible! I'm a happy man.

Expect updates on my baking experiments.

[up][up]You wield great power Set use it wisely.

Drunk is a blasphemer against the foods. Granted I am more partial to stews vs soups.

Mr. Trombley sure did vanish as quickly as he arrived.

Looks like this will be my last weird work week. We have a replacement ready to be trained. That is if they can get the finger print scanner working.

Congrats, 'sploit!

That's about as much as I was earning for my civil service job. Assuming that's monthly, I mean.

I came a little late to the game on the YMMV subpages, but that is a project that I like working on.

I'm thinking about doing a page for Bitchin' Kitchen. I love that show.

I had a dream that I went out to go to class and discovered that the snow had all melted dry overnight. It was the kind of dream that makes reality seem like a nightmare.

Reminds me of another dream I had (incidentally, both of these dreams were had when I was oversleeping and missing my 9AM class) where I just had my bed in the classroom and got to doze as I listened to the lesson. Much more comfortable than just drowsing in a hunched-over position in the too-small deskchairs that are crammed in too close together.

I enjoy being able to belt out Irish tunes in the lobby at work like the Foggy Dew or Scottish ones like Flower of Scotland or the Skye Boat Song.

I do that every once in a while too. Although being able to belt out Girlfriend in Canada from Avenue Q isn't looked upon too well during buisness hours...
