Maddy, that was fun
.
My mood improved. Went out to my brother's and everyone was there. We watched Mr. Magoo's Christmas Carol and the young'uns playing on the frozen solid lake. There was food and the chaotic gift exchange and now I am home on the couch and I finally found the dayplanner I've been trying to order for days now.
^Same, and I love it. Nothing could mentally prepare to go and brutally kill people like a stroll through the Tv Tropes Forum. It's great for right before a deployment.

So what parts of the fora do you travel though for that?
Edit: ... I just went for a stroll through IJBM. That's one of them isn't it?

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Way too much to be worth the effort and the jail sentence. Although the head lines so and so beaten to death with their own arm would be epic.
This is what I am watching. Its got Sonny Chiba in it
I just try and ignore it. It's not even discussions that get me mad, just specific tropers. Once I learn who they are, I just do a sort of self inflicted ignore thing, where I just don't bother to read their posts.
I find that I have a hard time outright hating people oddly. Even the anger I feel is more akin to frustration, but that's mostly selfish frustration due to not getting others to behave in a certain way.

Read my stories! What I find hilarious about IJBM though is that when they can't pick apart your argument, they'll complain about how you argued it. As if being polite meant being right.

"True story, I came when I read Scrye's story, and so did everyone within five miles." —OOZEIt's most likely because how one presents themselves is crucial. It's that way in real life, and it's that way on the internet. It's why looks matter to a certain extent. One who takes a shower everyday is more likely to be treated nicely as opposed to someone with incredibly horrendous hygiene.
Read my stories! From a practical point of view, being right is entirely meaningless if you're so offputting as to make people deny anything you say, thus ruining your chances of convincing them or anyone else that you're correct.
Of course, if you're the type to argue just for the sake of arguing, that shouldn't matter to you.
I spread my wings and I learn how to fly....@AHR: Your self censorship is way better than mine. IRL is somebody is being a dick I'll kick their ass, if it occurs on line I'll do it verbally; I can't do the latter on TT.
But you're right about hating somebody; it takes time and effort and I haven't met anyone who's gotten that kind of reaction from me yet.
@Spain: One does not argue to convince the opponent, one argues to convince the audience.
@Kino: I tend to go both ways. I'm all smiles/non-chalance until I blow, and then I become an emotional hell hole.
