A few weeks before I started my sophomore year of college, my watch band broke. I made it until October without one. I was almost broken of the habit of checking my wrist.

Ug I had a rough night last night. A pinched nerve, a run of twitching (on again off again issue), and in general being in pain kept me up until about 630am. I sucked down 4 Asprin before I went to lay down. I woke up feeling much better.
I hate my jacked up muscles and nerves.
Who watches the watchmen?Eh. The muscles and nerves decided to play nice. The muscles agreed to stop formign unseemly knots of tissue of around the nerves and the nerves agreed to stop screaming in agony at the muscles making them stay knotted.
All the damage to my body likes to remind me I insulted my musculoskeletal structure and other bits extensively during my time as a Marine.
Oddly my right knee which is the most mangled other then my right shoulder has been behaving with our weather shifts lately.
-knocks on wood three times, throws salt over one shoulder, shreds a copy of the pay sheet, offers up a thousand PFC stripes as burnt offerings, and drinks seargeant coffee-

I'm allergic to narpoxen, iz aspirin or Tylenol. BC or Goody's (taste like a combo of pee and chalk but makes pain go away). Icy Hot is nice...I just gotta remember to pee then put on the icy hot before bed.
Got it backwards once...from my scream...CQ though I was being assaulted...
I tried to walk like an Egyptian and now I need to see a Cairo practor....I got one of those microwaveable hot/cold neck/shoulder wraps. It works great. I can wrap around my joints, feet, or across where all that nasty scar tissue is.
Sucks that you are allergic to Naproxen. It is considered one of the better medicines for Joint and bone pain without needing a docs scribble.

Who watches the watchmen?Seriously? When I get muscular, I hit the over-the-counter ibuprofen
. If that fails and I have a dose of the horrible fibromyalgic feeling on top of all my woes with my joints joining in for kicks: Syndol
... if it's available thanks to the sodding licensing issues it's been having recently. -_-
Note: you've to be a bit canny with the Syndol
. Contains codeine and paracetamol on top of the doxy. Take ibuprofen on top of that, and, well... on your own liver be it.
But, as an unknotter, doxy is the way to go. But, you've got to be careful about which one you go for: there are two main molecular folds of doxy, and I find the one used in Syndol to be more effective than the generic you can find produced as a pill, powder or liquid (without the codeine and paracetamol — but, for my uses, they're not the main draw). If I could get hold of the exact form that works for me outside the Syndol formation, I'd be a happy bunny.
Uh. I did work in a pharmacy, once. <shuffles feet>
