To those who didn't understand Cu's mention of sitting on him; he's a three-legged stool.
And his creatures are called djinn.
His prophet shall be named Bartimaeus.
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Hey, it makes sense that elves advance the fastest. But usually they stay at that level of development.
Maybe Pies' actions can work to our advantage. After being thrown out of the pantheon for gross misconduct and rank odour, he could become this pantheon's equivelant to Satan.
Also, since Bartimaeus was created at the base level of sentience, he's going to act like it, though it'll be a while before his Deadpan Snarker tendancies show up.
Here's to hoping that isn't a long time, though.
And the djinn can't enter anything below the upper-upper atmosphere, because they're gaseous- the air pressure and gravity would shred them.
Hey look!. Yu-Gi-Oh meets wrasslin'!Yeah, Elves are more advanced than humans. But I don't want them getting too smart and proud for their own good.

They aren't Life As We Know It, then, I assume?
Also, that's until someone summons them, right?
or are you not going the whole way?
^Draco: I dislike elves for the Our Elves Are Better trope, so... If they start proclaiming their power and superiority they're getting dive bombed.

Rather then detailing every stage of development, would anyone be in favour of another Time Skip, so that they're all at a reasonably advanced (say, medieval-esque) stage?
The thing is that I made my continent kind of an extremelly dangerous enviroment.
It's filled with predators, great monsters and such.
I think it'll make it so that even if they get a technological developtment higher than the one we have in the world of today they still won't be able to tame it.

Should we perhaps perform a Cosmic Retcon?
