So, Lir, who should win this encounter? Just to get it out of the way so we don't just keep going Forum Fight style. Neither side appears to be honestly necessary for further actions (A scouting party and a small wandering group of outsiders), so in the long run it doesn't matter. I've been having the Kasiyu lose slightly since they underestimated the power of a Face Full Of Squig, but should they be driven off or rally?

(Squig, not Squid.)
Well, you should probably have your Kasiyu flee, if only because they've already suffered death and injury to 3/4ths of their numbers, and chances are their leader is about to die. Plus, they'd probably want to warn everyone else about these strange short creatures, if only so another group doesn't get killed off by underestimating a 'Face Full of Squig'. And they haven't even seen the Orks yet!
You could probably try capturing Greeny though if he kills the leader, since he's going to be separated from the rest of the group and out in the open. (Although I'd rather keep him alive, for now at least.)
Strength wise and general toughness, yeah. But Goblins are more cunnin, and they tend to have strategies that don't boil down to 'Charge at enemy while yelling WAAAGH!'. Plus, in this case they had a whole bunch of Squig to back them up, otherwise those scouts would be dead by now, even with the bows and arrows.
And I'm sure your guys will be able to work out some sort of strategy to use against the Squigs.

Pick them up (carefully) and drop them is an idea, but that increases the risk of face eating...
...Fishing Minigame?
... I have a LOT of catching up to do.. T-T Can someone enlighten me what happened since I last posted?
Hey! Read my fanfic: HereAn Ork kicked ass and became a prophet, complete with shiny new armor and a Big F#cking Choppa, and now all the Orks are united and have sent Goblin Squig Herders into the woods, where one group of them is fighting Hydrall's Kasiyu.

Well, we tried, depowered and exiled Piesalt to a pocket dimension, where he made contact with the indestructible sentient microbes and we turned him into a Satan figure, but no one seemed to listen to him so he left. Meanwhile, Draco's Elves and Sorabito (another winged humanoid race, this time like Biblical Angels on PCP) have begun fighting, and the batmen of ????? (I think?) have made contact with the elves, while Draco's mermaids have become friendly with the As... Asera... Sea-dragon-jellyfish people, and they fought Not!Cthulhu, losing their Elder and getting the prophet elected to replace him, making one leave. Uhhm... There's a lot more, but I forget...
edit: Oh, right, and my guys have progressed in technology, a couple of stupid teenagers hatchlings tried to fly out of the atmosphere and were saved by Sarc's Djinn, although they're now lost, while the rest are meeting the Orks as Liir said.
Lessee... OH! And the Vampires built a tower from the underworld and it breached the surface in the Cold-Verdant continent, causing Dalt's Aerans (still not getting that one, am I?) to go investigate. A tentative peace has been made, probably only lasting until a vamp gets hungry.

Okay then... I'll just say that Aether and his cloud-people have been sheltered for a while, while they develop their culture, or somesuch. I take it that sentience has been achieved?
Hey! Read my fanfic: HereWe're in a fight between two races of Determinators, aren't we?
This is going to be the most hilariously violent war ever, isn't it?

You know, I really should stop being stereotyping my races.
It's just not right when a bird-man has many advantages over a grounded mountain elf, who only fights with their weapons and rarely uses his/her magic.
Also, I should start by sealing away their magic after the war, just to make things harder for them. The forest elves get to keep theirs, though. I have something special planned for them.

The Goblins wouldn't be in large groups either, maybe three to a scouting party with a whole bunch of Squig.
