Eowyn: I never said that a movie, or a superhero movie for that matter, couldn't have a deep, profound meaning. Heck, I think that The Dark Knight should have won movie of the year. All I'm saying is that your views are interfering on the actual value or meaning of the film. He put him as a terrorist because that's what the joker is, and because it was a hot topic.
All I said was that the point of the movie was about the Philosophy and corruption of the characters, since the movie heavily draws from The Killing Joke, which had the same themes. Or are you saying that moral and philosophical significance aren't as profound as a political statement?
All Nolan is gonna do is to reference in some way the current hot topic. In this case, Occupy Wall Street. It could have some significance to the plot, but it's not a "statement" and certainly not the plot of the movie.
Obstacles are those frightful things you see when you take your eyes off the goal.He also only continued working for Bruce provided the machine was blown up in the end.
Seems like the overarching message isn't "this was justified" or "this was too far," but sort of like "the best way to stop something that can easily go too far in the wrong hands is to put it in the 'right' hands when you need to and then hide it away from the world / remove it otherwise."

With blood and rage of crimson red ripped from a corpse so freshly dead together with our hellish hate we'll burn you all that is your fate"WHEN GOTHAM IS IN ASHES, YOU HAVE MY PERMISSION TO DIE."
"Sarchasm: The gulf between the author of sarcastic wit and the person that doesn't get it."I have to say, I really like Selina's fashion sense. It's so stylishly retro (which is an aesthetic I think works for the character).
And the proper trailer is so much better than the leaked ones floating around.

But he wasn't. So, the weaknesses of this version of Scarecrow stood out and the strengths didn't, for me, because I didn't get what I expected at all.
I had meant to see them in order, but I didn't get a chance to see Batman Begins when it was a fresh movie, and everybody talked up The Dark Knight as the shit (quite deservedly, of course) so I ended up seeing that regardless.
Not that I can recall. I guess I'll find out when this movie comes out.
Yeah, I haven't been into Batman for a really long time. That's interesting, though. As for Poison Ivy and Penguin, that's just what my friends told me they'd heard. Damn hearsay.
I was a huge geeky fanboy for the '90s series and Batman Begins, but I haven't seen them for so long that I've forgotten most of it. I was more of a Marvel person when I was growing up anyhow; my favorite superhero was Spider Man...
I am now known as Flyboy.I saw Hathaway in that Rachel Getting Married movie. I still just saw 'Hathaway!' Although I thought that movie was annoying to begin with. I don't like stuff where it's just all yelling and dysfunctional families, I am extremely sensitive to people yelling around me in real life.

SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)The only time I had problems understanding Bane was when I watched a crappy camcorder version of the IMAX preview.
I've got two guns pointed west and a broken compass.I actually found him really hard to understand in the short trailer. I still don't know what most of what he said was.

SPATULA, Supporters of Page Altering To Urgently Lead to Amelioration (supports not going through TRS for tweaks and minor improvements.)Well, he didn't say anything in that trailer. That was Ras Al Ghul narrating. Gordon was hard to understand, though.
I've got two guns pointed west and a broken compass.I haven't seen the IMAX prologue (There aren't any real IMAX theaters in this country...), but I had little trouble comprehending Bane in this trailer. I had to rewind once, and that's it.
Visit my Tumblr! I may say things. The Bureau ProjectJust because it is possible to understand him doesn't mean he is easily understandable. If it becomes a chore to understand what the bad guy is saying (and it isn't the point) then it becomes a distraction.

Um, he made the Joker a terrorist because *that is what the Joker is*, if you actually take seriously his actions. Most portrayals of the Joker have his plots involving a strong element of "horrible things ensue"; if the Joker is not traditionally called a terrorist, it is simply because the writers felt comfortable simply calling him a "supercriminal" or such.
The Joker really hasn't been anything other than a terrorist and mass murderer since the 60s and the Adam West Batman show.
