Split ZombieInfectee: Zombie Infectee

I've never done a split before, just tried to contribute some clean-up and a few entries. So I hope I'm doing this right.

But I think Zombie Infectee is due for a split. There are a few entries there now that deal more with Vampires and, well, Vampires aren't Zombies.

Since the issue is how bitees and the others around them deal with the infection, I'd like to call the page "The Ties That Bite", yes, indulging in a bit of double entendre.

Is there any support for this? Is there any sort of voting process for split that I should know about?

Wrong forum... This should be in trope repair shop.

Exactly the kind of input I was craving. Thank you. Can it be moved? Or should I just repost over there?

A Mod should move it. (I already reported it)

Anyway I would think that Vampires actually making them mindless zombies would still fit this trope. Most Vampires in fiction fit under Brainwashed or other tropes.

* Sometimes, vampires have two options of converting their prey a la The Virus. With some effort and rule-following, they can be changed into full, if younger, vampires. Sometimes, they have the option of just making either zombie-like or less powerful (often carnivorous) vampire slaves. Killing a vampire also kills any vampires that particular one created by the above means. Occasionally, it just restores them to non-vampiric life.
Quote from the Our Vampires Are Different page.

Now making a trope specifically for all Vampire Victim s I could see.

Thanks for that. But I can kind of see them being different. Vampire-slaves are more typically commandable and responsive, whereas the (proto-)typical zombie is more beyond control and acting in a largely autonomous fashion.

Well, this trope is already being used to describe situations when the infectee is infected with other things than zombiism.

The inbound links has

Personally, I think widening the description to include all cases of a plague victim hiding their condition and adding a few redirects would be better than a rename, since it already has a healthy 130 wicks and 148 inbounds.

I'd agree with broadening being the best bet.
