Um...Jhiday, are you responding to me? If so...OBJECTION! Given the lack of similar cameos or references in the previous game (even when said lack of references didn't make sense) why is having that particular cameo in this game a given—particularly since the script goes out of its way to not mention the character by name, and would have likely derailed the plot upon interaction with Edgeworth? Or is there something else you're trying to hint at?

Currently on Case 1. Portman, stop showing off your animation sprites! =P
^^ I just meant that, considering the numerous cameos and Continuity Porn, I was on a lookout for them... and still missed some. So I'm kicking myself for it. If you're interested, our own Ace Attorney page has more details. Apparently, not only Phoenix but also Maya and Pearl are on a boat in the background.
^ That he does. But then, he's supposed to be annoying.
I found Waldo !◊ (Yeah, I know, poor image quality.)
Currently on Case 3. Kay is pretty cute. =)
not that fond of the music of investigations...but speak up pup is awesome
and yes kay is pretty cute.
case 3 annoyed me so much but its also the first time ive actually felt like i was prosecuting. but then, a quick look at what happened just reveals its the same pattern of events as always.
defence attorneys and prosecutors are pretty much the same thing except one side is rich and the other is poor and generally life's buttmonkeys...
Arg. I think I've hit a wall in Case 3. Specifically, Lang's argument about Lauren and her dad supposedly planning the kidnapping.
I swear to God, if you pull that "oh that shit's obvious" bullshit on me...

"Oh, that shit's obvious." :/
I just really hate it when I'm struggling with a game and someone goes "DUDE THAT'S THE EASIEST (PART OF THE) GAME EVER".
It's because of this sort of indirect flaming that I've stopped replaying Apollo Justice and Thunder Force III. I've been working on so-and-so game for weeks or months now, and you decide to be an ass and brag about how it took you only a day a few hours 1-2 plays of the game to master it?

It's definitely the hardest part of the whole game. It took me a while to figure it out... and that took a good dose of Try Everything before I stumbled on the solution.
It does make sense in retrospect, but it's one of those pieces of Ace Attorney-logic where you have to completely forget about what you just proved and concentrate on the one statement that you know is false.
Hint One : You're not actually trying to disprove that Lauren & Dad were co-conspirators in the kidnapping, are you ?
Hint Two : Don't you have proof that there was a third co-conspirator ?
So that's the Guide Dang It! that was under the spoiler text on the Ace Attorney page. So I'm on the same page as a lot of others then.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go ride red barrels.

i nearly quit the game at that part, and then for some reason i noticed a line that told me exactly what to do and i felt like a complete idiot for ages afterward. especially since i saved after doing it, leaving me with 1hp left.
That bit was terrible because Edgeworth's inner monologue outright misleads you as to what you're meant to do. I thought he was supposed to be the smart one.
So, I've finally picked up the game. I'm on Case 2 right now. I gotta say, Case 1 was a pretty long first case.
There are 5, right?
Yes, there are five.
So what happened to Godot at the end of T&T again? I was sort of confused by the ending.
Lets see: Well, after being revealed as the real culprit, and realizing that Mia's spirit is backing Phoenix up, he shares a cup of coffee with Phoenix and bleeds from his face (Or in the reverse order, I'm not 100% sure What happens with him afterwards is a bit unclear. Fanon seems to think he's dying, but either way, murder's implied to lead to capital punishment in the Attorneyverse, so I'm not sure what to think.
Just started Case 3 of AAI...OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD OH GOD
BEHIND YOU GODDAMMIT! LOOK BEHIND YOU!

This case has been the first time I experienced how Nightmare Fuelish that thing is. (Its previous appearances were just sad...)
Did...did Capcom just reference the Badger song? O_O
Also, "Badger GET!"
Finished the game... overall, I can safely say "meh". I had a lot of things that bugged me about it and I couldn't get involved in the characters or story the way the other games did for me.
So, is Ambassador Palaeno awesome, or WHAT?
It's Ace Attorney. EVERYBODY is awesome.
