BTW, going back to page 1, that first Mutant Rampage Bodyslam video must have featured THE least sexy catgirl ever. Between the Uncanny Valley animation and what looked like very obvious spinal surgery scars... *vomit*

A game called Crazybus really ought to feature the song Crazy Bus.

But this is the craziest video game music of my memory:

Speaking of Mutant Rampage, someone uploaded a video of the actual game... and the music is actually pretty good! And there seem to be even more cutscenes that what was in the two videos before.

^^ That is really... really weird.

Reminds me of the Wii A Boy And His Blob, in a way. After so very, very many deaths, I got to feeling like the "Quirky Bloblonian Oboe Music" was taunting me.

I used to have Lego Racers for the N64. I always liked to mess around in the build mode. I have no idea why that music didn't drive me away.

Lego Racers was awesome. I remember playing it on the N64 when I was a kid.

Is it me or is that LEGO Racers song actually kind of catchy? Sounds like something out of a Banjo Kazooie game.

The character customization in lego racer was better than the actual Kart racing! Seriously, the courses are brutal, with lots of narrow passages and rectangular obstacles that stop you dead in your tracks while the entire pack passes you. The powerup/weapon system was interesting, with the choice to use weapons immediately or collect upgrades... except many upgrades just weren't worth it. Not a bad game, but not a good one either.

I can't say much about the first Lego Racers (though I remember it being middling at best) but Lego Racers 2 was in some ways ahead of its time (as far as cartoonier racers go anyway).

Also, how the hell did they get Kirk Cameron to play in this:

A few comments:

I was sort of following Miko Miko Nurse until the two lead girls got attacked by a giant tentacled 2Chan Anon cat. I... buh?

Hrm... a shame, Mutant Rampage Body Slam looks like it might actually have been good with a better system and a better dev team. It would've still been a Cliché Storm, but it might have been an entertaining one, rather than a painful one.

The Horde's cutscenes are a bit weird, but it's an excellent game. Fun and funny. Try playing it, seriously.

^ Oh yeah, if I had a 3DO (or a Playstation, or a Saturn...), I certainly would.

By the same developers, a game that actually sucks:

Apparently, the MST 3 K-esque riffing is on by default... yeah.

^^ Don't forget the Toku bot, and the phrase "soul train." It makes me kind of... kind of actually want to play it.

While it is not an official game, I feel that sharing it in this thread is appropriate. Ladies and gentlemen, the best 3D fighter EVAR.

^^^That's actually from a game called 'Fighter Maker'. Essentially you can make your own characters with their own movesets, with predictable results.

@Glowsquid: There is an abandonware PC version. IIRC, from when I tried it... it's even weirder than the Saturn/3D0 version, since they decided for some reason to replace the FMV cutscenes with semi-animated stills.
