And now to volume two of Bleach, chapters 8-16.
Not serving, thriving in.
Though to be fair, that also happens to strong Hollows, as well.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyx2
Funnily enough, Kubo has confirmed that Urahara was inspired by Snufkin.
I assure you, I'm a completely trustworthy person. That's why I made the comparison
Man Aizen losing his shit is so fucking surreal man.
Also wow everything he says here takes a whole new light with all that we've learned about the Soul King.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Indeed! I really hope they have time and opportunity to expand upon the subject of the Soul King in the anime adaptation, since most of the juicy stuff was confined to the novels and I wish it had been in the manga instead.
GM of AGOG S4: Frontiers RP; Sub-GM of TABA, SOTR, & UUA RPsMore important than the stuff the novels told about the Soul King is imo what they didn't tell about his grander importance and influence. Not to mention, the vast majority the novels revealed might not even be true, since Ichibee was twisting the truth to paint the picture that helps his agenda the most.
That Shiro Sagisu music is so nice. I should work on a page for him.

Watch SymphogearVolume 3, chapters 17-25.
There's a reason people regarded Bleach as the most mature of the Big Three early on. I distinctly remember a good amount of elitism from Bleach fans dismissing One Piece and Naruto as being childish.
Ironic considering Bleach does have its fair amount of humor same as any other shonen
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Yeah, like, Bleach has some humor, it's just not completely cartoony like One Piece...but comparing Bleach to One Piece is apples and oranges (and I guess Naruto would be bananas in this metaphor or something).
I think its more like Yu Yu Hakusho.
Both shows do star rough and tumble teenagers that give off an air of matureness.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Oh, I've been meaning to dig through Yu Yu Hakusho. I know a lot of people compare Bleach and YYH.
And heavily involve the spirit world. I always saw Yu Yu Hakusho, Bleach, and Shaman King as its own trio of sorts.
Volume 4, chapters 26-34.
I might be misremembering but I BELIEVE Tatsuki had a lot more development planned that was sacrificed once it became clear that the Reapers were the proverbial golden geese of the cast.
I kind of feel like the original plan to keep Ichigo’s friends as the core main cast seemed better, but that might be one of those things where it SEEMS better because it DIDN’T happen. Grass is greener and all that.
The pig of Hufflepuff pulsed like a large bullfrog. Dumbledore smiled at it, and placed his hand on its head: "You are Hagrid now."Honestly, outside of Chad and Orihime (who I already know become important players later on), Tatsuki is the only one of the students that I like. Ichigo's two other guy friends are so boring and forgettable that I don't really care about them, and I kind of shrug my shoulders at most of Orihime's gal pals. It doesn't help that their "friendship" is kind of nonexistent in practice. The closest bond Ichigo has so far is with Rukia, and I *love* that dynamic. Seriously, I get why people ship them so much, it's just too hard not to. Snarky, mutually supportive, good banter, I love it.
Bleach's first arc may as well be an entirely different series from what it would become after Soul Society.
Kind of gives you whiplash.
A lazy millennial who's good at what he does. Its interesting that Kubo did have more arcs planned with the Karakura Town residents but he was told to hurry it up with the Soul Reapers.
"I am Alpharius. This is a lie."Though considering the series was not doing so hot and the Soul Society arc is now generally regarded as the best part of the series, it was probably the right decision at the time.
How could you not like Keigo and Mizuiro?
Of all the human characters that got pretty much dropped since they weren't part of the core cast, I wish we got something more out of Don Kanonji.
The sad, REAL American dichotomyKanonji became the protagonist of a novel series and even earned the respect of multiple Arrancar, a Quincy, and Kenpachi. And he actually drove a car through a Garganta while Cien and Kenpachi chased him.
It’s fitting that your reward for serving a fucked up system is that you get sent to hell afterwards.
Every accusation by the GOP is ALWAYS a confession.
