"Seieki" does mean semen, no ambiguity there.
That, and my Japanese classes.

You found that out with Google Translate, didn't you?
I did say that it still implied semen, so I wasn't completely dismissing it.

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl.In Layman's term Yumichika says Giselle has that undeniable smell of Dude, and Yumichika would know the smell of dude being the clean freak among the 11th.
Really the Framing of the scene pretty much says Yumichika is right and Giselle's reaction reinforces that. Kubo has a distinct way he rights women when their femininity is questioned
Some of you are having typical 'I was attracted to a trap! NOOOOOOO MY MASCULINITY'
This is an outrage against Luminara! How many people were confident that Shutara was male because of her name and slightly androgynous face? Exactly.
Remember when we mentioned how the final arc has Kubo bucking traditions left and right, with people losing if they explain their abilities first (among other things)? Kubo choosing Giselle not to freak out like Hiyori is another such a tradition breaker.
Again, I'm not saying you shouldn't suspect that Giselle is male, but an angry face alone shouldn't serve as confirmation until Giselle either addresses it herself or Kubo mentions it in a databook.

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl. The problem is more that there are these things called gender issues that we should be careful about, even for a fictional character.
It's pretty obvious that Yumichika guessed right (though the way he guessed it is questionnable), but it also seems pretty obvious that Giselle considers themself a girl, so… until we have further details, it's probably wiser to keep a status quo for now.

I fail to see how thinking Giselle was a male would make people raise fear over their own sexuality. Yumichika may spend alot of time around men and would recognize the scent, but it doesn't always mean it would linger on everyone.
I'll just wait for the offical status (rather its from Giselle or one of her friends, the databooks, etc.). It still seems more like an insult on her for not being stock woman rather than being male or just to bait her into screwing up since she seems to use that as her main ploy

If only they had ninshu, Naruto could show Bort his own childhood to stop him being such a little bitch. - IronypusPeople expect a very specific kind of gender reveal.
They expect a protagonist to grab a handful of dong and fake boob, not just sit back and go 'you smell like man smell.'
They expect some proactive offensive groping.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI never said I don't like admitting (hell, Poison is the perfect example that this effect can be subtle as hell). I laugh it off later. I just doubt Giselle (a femenine name) would be male just from an off-comment from a guy who talks about beauty as much as Yumichika does.
I think Kubo just likes their antics enough to keep them around just a bit longer. Better than Gremmy

X10
Which was spilt due to a neutral noun... I'm using Kubo's known framing devices and writing habits. Something he hasn't gotten over.
Baseless Assumption, which you are throwing up as a hypothetical to strengthen your point.
Ironically this would makes sense in hindsight
Giselle constant insensitivity, the fact It acts smitten with Candice and points out Her supposed promiscuity.
Its lack of a developed female form, its outfit strategically hides the cleavage and extends over the hip/groin section when even Lilotto's hips are on display.

This is an outrage against Luminara!Liltotto also lacks a distinct female form. As does Shutara. And Rukia
Again, we can't assume Giselle is male because some other dude said so. Mashiro once said Harribel died, and for the longest time, many people believed her. Take what Yumichika says with a grain of salt.

In RWBY, every girl is Best Girl. And this is coming from a guy who cross-ships Poison and Bridget and has a friend whose leaning towards tran. I'm not the biggest expert but considering Kubo's use of wordplay, its actually one way to keep the jokes he uses so far alive (hell remember Yoruichi and Unohana also speak in terms normally used for males, Yoruichi takes it a step further by sounding like a male in cat form). That and basically trying to troll people into thinking they fell for a trap is really making it more insulting than comical...
Wait... are we the Giselles and you the Yumichika?

This is an outrage against Luminara!Yeah, I found it comedic. What of it?
Anyway, a big part of why I keep saying we should wait it out is because of the Flame War that would erupt from it.
Now, here's a better topic. Why is Bambietta still in possession of her bombs if she was killed? Yhwach is supposed to get those bombs if she really has died.

That would make sense I suppose. Notice how most of the killed Stern Ritter were oblitherated (Mask, As Nodt, Royd) or left to be slithered apart (Cang Du, possibly BG 9). I guess unless they were completely killed and or oblitherated the power returns to Yhwach. My other geuss is that because her body is still there, it may inhabit it somehow or split to where it may not be as powerful.

Of course, there's a difference between jerking it over a corpse and romancing a ghost who has a physical body and can age/eat/probably reproduce.
The difference is consent.
