I don't really disagree with that, but I don't want to get into that anymore.
But tangentially, I just realized that very few women in Bleach actually seem to like fighting. The two strongest Arrancar both hate it, Momo isn't really suited for it, Orihime is terrible at it and most of the others treat it like a job.
I guess Yoruichi might kind of like brawling, but I don't think that's ever stated.
On the other hand, the Boob Postulate helps protect them if they ever do get into scrums.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersI think Yoruichi and Mashiro are the only female characters who like brawling. Did Cirucci like fighting? I think Lisa too, she seems like a fem!Ikkaku when she fights.
Also, haha "teaching" Kenny. Don't you all realize that teaching in this manga means learning how to refire Getsuga Tensho?
(•_•)⌐■-■ ( ಠ_ಠ)>⌐■-■ (⌐■_■)That's kind of what I'm thinking, yeah. Assuming that he'll be as powerful as kid Kenpachi that's not exactly a huge step up. It'll put him at some point vaguely above Unohana, but it risks losing Unohana or at least confining her to the role of a medic. Plus, her strength isn't terribly well established yet.
She says she's stronger than anyone except Kenpachi but yeah, that's vague.
Forever liveblogging the AvengersQuick: name your top five preferred characters to get some development and power up. And short explanation for whyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy
Forever liveblogging the AvengersShlugo: Well, he'll probably get to kill someone important like Haschwald or whatever his name is. Obviously he won't get to fight the toughest opponent.
Unless he goes berserk and Ichigo has to kill him. That would be neat.
^
- Uryu. His abilities are interesting, he does rely on bankai and he has major ties to what is going on.
- Rukia. Not to the same extent as Uryu, but at least let her fight someone that's not completely awful.
- ...Nel? Let her be cool instead of a dumb little kid.
Other than that, no real preference.

Halibel!!!! Is she not boss arrancar now anyways?
Baby Yachiru needs a fucking fight. And some characterization.OOOH, make its so that if kenny goes berserk shes the one that has to kill him.
And hanataro. Because I needed a third person to round of my list.
Louder than God's revolver and twice as shiny.![]()

5. Neliel - So she can actually be an adult and not rely on luck and plot.
4. Isane - At this point, Unohanas a goner unless Kenpachi either remembers he never kills certain foes/realises that losing more powerful soldiers is completely idiotic. In that case, seeing Isane or Hanataro learn more healing abilities or fighting abilities would be good.
3. Rukia - I get the feeling shes may have to go through the same training Ichigo and Renji are going through so it should allow her to be able to become more of a badass.
2. Soifon - Shes already an assassin. Maybe teach her how to use more kido that can be cloaked, hell, if Momo can do it, she should be able to learn it.
1. Harribel's Fraccion - Maybe so they aren't used as cannon fodder. Plus, Uraharas there, they should be able to learn SOMETHING. If they want to save Harribel, then they'd have to do something.
Notable mentions - Tsukishima, Rangiku, Omeada, Nemu, Ori-bloody-hime, Chad

If only they had ninshu, Naruto could show Bort his own childhood to stop him being such a little bitch. - IronypusI'd even prefer Omaeda.
Assuming Bocaj meant other than Ichigo:
1. Grimmjow- You know why he was the one people said could be Bleach's Vegeta? Because, like Vegeta, he isn't on anyone else's side right now. He can be a loose cannon, have his own agenda, or be someone to fight Ichigo and not just be part of the Vanderturd's sequence of baddies.
2. Ishida- Ishida still has more room to grow as a character than most of the others in Bleach, and he brings some variety (and drama) to the team by being a quincy who might wind up having to fight other quincies.
3. Chad- Yeah, I'm partial to the non-shinigami.
4. Renji- He plays off of Ichigo well, he's lost enough fights that he doesn't come across as boring and invincible, and he's always struck me as someone who is getting stronger fast, and could credibly be a captain one day.
I remember Kubo saying that he'll finally reveal Minazuki's powers, including its Bankai. Do we know if the pre-reformation Gotei 13 did follow the "must have Bankai to be a Captain" rule? Because Unohana and others of her generation may have simply become Captains due to being too strong even without Bankai for anyone else (other than a fellow Captain, of course) to unseat them.

Fiat iustitia, et pereat mundus. At work, can't talk long
Chad, Yoruichi, Tessai, Yumichika, Ichigo's sisters.
I'll give my thoughts on the chapter and stuff when I get home, and settle this whole Lady of War thing. Because as is so often the case, my evil word is law.
Serious comment: the top panel on the last page, note she has her Retsu face on.
Humorous comment: The top panel on the last page.

The sad, REAL American dichotomy![]()
Yes, but was that comment from her meant to only apply to the Gotei 13 proper (i.e. after Yamamoto reformed the original pseudo-lawless, disorganized bands of psychopathic killers into 13 true Divisions with the proper organization, hierarchy, etc. that we know today), or to the Gotei 13 throughout their history?

This. And yes, some people (including me) did call that, especially since she basically said so in the previous chapter's closing panels.
