Honestly, I think at least the original comments (the very first ones put up by the person adding the fic) should be kept on the page, because it's much, much better to be able to read down the page to find things you might like rather than have to click for reviews on each and every one. Synopses generally cover only the basic plot concept; the comments were where the real stuff was, such as notes on tone, writing style, and events; things that may put people off or lure people in.
The old comments are all completely gone now, which is a very bad thing. They should have been moved, not deleted; in fandoms with a ton of fics, they will soon be pushed out of the edit history and lost forever. As well, there is no easy link to the reviews (there is "add review", but no "see reviews").
I know my feedback probably doesn't matter in the least, but hopefully it will. Many changes have been being made lately that, in practice, only serve to reduce efficiency.

We're trying to move them, and it's a monumental task. Help would be appreciated.
Fish around in the edit history for the deleted comments, and see if you can shift them to the appropriate review page.
One thing that might also be helpful, folks - if you're deleting comments, make a note in the edit history of what story those comments were for. It'll make it easier for us to salvage them.
What's precedent ever done for us?*whew* Well, that's the Crossover section of the Eva fics done. If anyone sees anything I need to tweak, LMK.
I'm taking a dive back into the Haruhi section. Wish me luck!
...Um Fast Eddie? How are you supposed to see the reviews?

You got some dirt on you. Here's some more!Sorry to break up the flow of conversation, but where'd the old thread go? I know I posted here, and now it's gone, so it must be a new thread, but where's the old one? I like to save my old posts, regardless of whether or not they mattered, in case I ever need to reiterate for some reason, and clearly I can't save what I can't find...

Marioguy, I'm working off the assumption that whoever's the first name in the Recommended by line is the troper who left the opening comment.
