Earl looked around, slightly uncomfortable. It was rare that he gave his opinion to a superior, even rarer that it did not come back to haunt him. But this time there was a sense of solidarity in the crew even amongst those who had never met her. It seemed simple enough but the call to meet seemed strange and the pause now between the unanimous decision of rest of the Knights and the Commander and Lieutenant Commander made him nervous.
Regardless, this wasn't an action he would regret.
"Commander?"

Alexei steepled his fingers. "Yes, lets." Alexei walked to a comm panel and pressed the button. "Bridge, this is Trio Knight Niktokov, inform command that Persephone has to wait, we have located Lady venne Bannikberg and we will be extracting her and any other prisoners we find. Authorization code 199326 May" Alexei walked back to his seat.
He took a slow, deep breath and spoke. "Team, we are going to rescue Lorraine as soon as we possibly can, maybe sooner. We're facing an enemy who has committed a war crime and is holding both Federation and Centauri individuals, we don't know who our target is allied with, but whoever they are, be they Federation or Centauri they will know what it means to become an enemy of the Bannikberg Regiment. We are going to fight. Whoever this is likely has some big guns behind them because you don't capture and torture soldiers without making sure no one has a chance of rescuing them. Some of us will, with great likelihood, die."
Alexei steepled his fingers. "Most likely of which being myself. I don't know much about this operation, but if the person running this has a modicum of intelligence, their prison will not be large enough for a standard-sized frame to maneuver in. I have experience with Guerilla operations, and I am also the acting leader of this regiment. I will be entering this facility to free Lorraine and anyone else I can find. They will leave alive. I cannot guarantee that I will. If anyone has reason to believe they can assist me, speak now."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All."I follow your orders to the best of my abilities what so ever they may be, Commander Niklotov," Earl knelt before him, in the same manner one might prior to a major promotion, pact or suicide mission, "If a lighter frame is necessary to assist you, I have no objections to taking one of the reserve frames."

"I don't believe I've made it clear, but allow me to elaborate. I will be entering the prison on foot. As in without a frame."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Roxy's hand shot up immediately.
"I'll do whatever it takes to bring her back safe! Uh, but I don't know anything about combat on foot, really. We had drills about it in school and I wasn't very good so I kind of skipped class a lot for a while... even so! If I can help at all I will. Oh! Lady venne Bannikberg's frame, it has some kind of stealth ability, right? Maybe we could use that to help sneak us in!"
"Using a stealthed frame certainly could get us through any large defense, but on foot in the atmosphere, people will notice the sounds and weight of the frame, so it will only take us so far. I am capable of sneaking in, but more people means more options. We could try and fight our way through, but that has the risk of them killing prisoners before we find Lorraine. Perhaps the two of you could find a way to split up and help search with out getting caught. Roxy, no offense, but I think it's best we gave you some form of concealed armament."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All."Very well, that makes four. Jameses, I'm gonna have to ask the two of you to stay in the skies, we need frame support, and we can't have all our knights on foot.
Roxy, see if you can get something suitable for you to fight with on the ground.
Earl, I'll need you to tell me what you do best on foot.
Colette, I've already read your report, I know what you're capable of. You'll be helping me."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All."More or less. You won't be without support, though, I can make certain of that.
I am aware that making plans this far ahead is unconventional, but we're speaking strictly in general terms. Once we can get a cursory look at what we're up against, we will talk about specifics."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All."More than enough for this mission. Earl, your job is to go around and free as many prisoners as possible and to get them out of the ship safely.
Roxy, your job, should you choose to accept it, is to make as much noise as possible and to distract the guards.
Once again, Colette will be my backup."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All."I just remembered something that was developed a little while ago, but we'll need to go to the hangar to find out if the ship has any of them. But if we do, you'll be able to take down more guards than they can send at you."
TVTropes Nuzlocke Thread. - Arceus Help Us All.Flint landed his Frame, simultaneously replying to Sune as Hobbes already seemed to have parked his. No response from the bridge either regarding this question. "Not like I can speak with any authority, but I'd just put it somewhere for now, and handle the rest once you're inside. I can see a free space where you could put it over here. Might be against regulations, I dunno, but you can't remain out there."
"Quiet, serious." Jimmy said the first two traits that popped into his head as he flipped through his mental notebook. "She always be sayin' she don't want no noble position but by God, she always knew how to act the part well."
They came to the lift and Jimmy punched the code for the bridge. "She could be, how do I put it? Aloof. That be the word! Yes, indeed. But she also had a presence, if you get me. A sea of serenity when the going got tough. Even when we were on Saffron she kept her head when so many didn't. Ahe always looked out for everybody and she earned my 'spect for that."
"And she likes pandas. And odd music. Yes, sir, very odd music."
The lift opened and they stepped onto the bridge.

Gerry nursed his damaged Frame back into the hangar, keeping a close eye on the various instruments to ensure that everything was healthy and still ticking over. After what felt an eternity, the Tactful had landed.
Exiting the rapidly dimming cockpit and walking away, Gerry took a moment to survey the battle damage. It wasn't pretty, to say the least: massive scratch marks had been gouged into the hull, damaging at least one of the radiator lines. Another section of the hull had a large burn scorched into it, obviously from where the enemy Frame had hit him with its' beam weapon.
"This is going to be one heck of a repair job... I don't envy the guys who'll have to deal with this," he said in thought, before following his commander out of the hangar.
