Does anyone know any good freeware games for PC with names that start with letter F?
I'll spot you Fraxy and Frets on Fire.
@ Att Obl 227: Dragon Quest V for the DS has a lot of Video Game Caring Potential, if you're interested.
For the Freeware Games that start with F, Freeciv and Freecol are nice games.
Any games similar to feel, difficulty or total insanity to Alien Soldier?
Closest I can think is Gunstar Heroes, but if you've played Alien Soldier then you probably already know about Gunstar, don't you?
Uhhh...maybe Metal Slug? It has that sort of "shots going everywhere have to dodge everything at once" feel to it, and it also has balls to the wall difficulty.
I've been wanting to stockpile my Gameboy collection, as i've picked up my Game Boy Advance Sp again. What are some good games for the Game Boy, Game Boy Color and Gameboy Advance? List all you can think of. (I have most of Nintendo's flagship titles, but if you can think of any obscure ones that i missed, say so)
Hmm, Game Boy/Advance...
For Game Boy:
For Game Boy Advance... Get Yggdra Union and Riviera The Promised Land.
Also, the Sonic Advance Games.
Any Gameboy Color games in particular?
GBC...I rather like the old Harry Potter 1-2 game for GBC...pretty fun RPG...
Any good PC Freeware wide-open sandbox / open-world (something GTA like or Elder Scrolls like) games?
Also need some recommendation for some good western RPG...free ones that is...

Any games similar to Ehrgeiz's Quest Mode/ Forsaken Dungeon?
Tobal No. 1 (developed by the same company a few years earlier) has a mode like that. It's very hard to find...you might wind up paying $70-100 for it on eBay.

I could probably find an ISO somewhere...
anything else? Or should i just knuckle under and get Diablo?
The Unholy War?
Is The Unholy War a real time randomly generated dungeon crawler?
What are some good RPG games for the DS, both Fantasy themed and otherwise unorthodox?
And well, any other kind of game you highly recommend for DS?
I guess Etrian Odyssey (especially the sequel), but it may not be up your alley.
I'm really quite fond of Phantasy Star Zero.

This is for a friend of mine. Updating her supercard. Thank you for the recs.
Any emulators that can be used on a DS? looking for NES, Game Boy (Color?), and SNES and Genesis if that's even possible.
Does anyone know of any particularly unusual/creative JRPGs with strong characterization? I'm thinking of Persona 3 FES and TWEWY as examples of what I'm looking for. (I have pretty much every Nintendo console and a PS 2.)
EDIT: ^^^^^ Definitely The World Ends With You for incredibly good original RPG. I also enjoyed Bowser's Inside Story, but TWEWY is pretty much a must-play.

jEnesisDS is a good Genesis emulator. I used it to play all the way through Quackshot * If you've never played it, please do. It features Donald Duck dressed as Indiana Jones, and you kill Dracula with a popcorn gun. It is AWESOME., Ecco, and Sonic, and only had some sound problems when I loaded a savestate. Oh, and you have to move the screen around, because for some reason they didn't try to fit the screen.
Lameboy is very good, no real problems, except for some reason I had to create a savestate to save my progress. Very odd.
You're not going to find any good SNES emulators, probably not ever. The best I could do was get Secret Of Mana to run a little bit, but there were way way too many graphical issues.
Any good 3D beat em ups? I have each Playstation, a N64, Dreamcast, and a DS if that applies.
