I'll try and see if I can find it but I think it might be hard to find.

  • Dark Messiah has some enjoyable stealth play if you do it that way. Not ghostable by any mean
  • The first STALKER (the 3rd to a lesser extent) makes a lot of hard fire-fights avoidable if you use stealth wisely, but it isn't a stealth game.

Know of any good current-generation Humongous Mecha games?

Is that good? I mean, I like Gundam, but I'm always suspicious of crappy franchise games.

Still, a good game in which you get to pilot a Gundam would, indeed, be fuckawesome.

Another Centurys Episode, if you don't mind the fact that it's all in Japanese.

Have you ever played Dynasty Warriors? Its basically that with Gundams.

Massive amounts of enemies, lots of kills etc, like 70 mobile suits and 50 characters.

Three's story though kinda sucked compared to the second game Three's is pretty much like a fan fic. Two's story mode was good covering all UC up to Chars Counterattack and non UC characters did not get completely jyped each main character got 5 story missions that were pretty cool occasionally with FM Vs. Three has online though and an excellent roster.

Are there any good DS games I should consider getting on my 3DS?

I currently have:

  • Pokemon Heart Gold
  • Zelda Oo T 3D
  • Okami-den and
  • Super Scribblenaughts

I guess I'm looking for something fairly innovative, or actiony, or adverntury or even RPG.

I'm open to suggestions.

For Action RP Gs, try Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 days and Coded. Both great games with awesome stories.

Where should I look to find a purely turn-based game , which you can save and turn off regularly, preferably with a high fantasy-esque story?

Final Fantasy III. Should be good if you have a DS or an Iphone/Ipod Touch.

It's for my grandmother though. She has poor eyesight and bad arthritis, so she can't really look at small screens and can't press buttons a lot.

@mahel: Rainbow Six: Rogue Spear on the GBA is sparse, but still tense. Some missions fail you instantly if you're discovered.

@Cygan: ADOM is purely turn-based,but it also gave me my first case of RSI, so... yeah. Battle For Wesnoth might do the trick in windowed mode with a screen magnifier.

Until recently, I haven't had any money to buy anything. Now I'm hoping to catch up on some of the games I missed. Can anyone recommend me any RP Gs for the PS 2, GBA, and the DS that aren't obvious choices like Final Fantasy?

Persona 3, Persona 4 (latter is better than the former IMO though and easier. Like FF you do not need to know previous games.)
