[tdown]Pink Rabbit.

Why so serious?
Nov 8th 2018 at 7:14:21 AM

I think Pink Rabbit can count. The fact that he seemingly hosts amusement parks as a trap to lure in his victims shows he has sufficient characterization and plot. It is not just villain randomly kills people just cuz. These are cold, calculated murders.

But there's no story being told in the lyircs or video. It's just ammounts to "Hi, I am a child murderer." For like three minutes. It's creepy yes, (especially since I watched it at midnight) but where/what the hell is the story ?

It's really somthing that there's more story in a 30 second MTV commercial (also involving a pink rabbit at that).

[up]Like I said, there is the amusement park set up. The kids are enjoying a day at the amusement park, the rabbit entertains them which culminate s in him kidnapping and murdering them.

That shows plot, setup and characterization.

Not exactly. The whole thing is just one three minute, barley coherent self description.

Mir: Hmm, you're probably right that entry should be moved. Here's a de-potholing first:

  • Forum Warz: PurifyingSelector88, episode 3's Big Bad, is a former Geronimo employee who desires to kill anyone who he considers "undesirable" in order to "purify humanity". He first makes himself known by trying to kill the protagonists and his allies with a sound file containing a literal Brown Note, and it is subsequently revealed that he has done this with others. During the investigation, a tech support worker is killed by the file as a warning to back off. PS88 then tricks the player into pwning the DinkDonkDoink board and deletes the files tracing back to him. He reveals that he has upgraded the brown note to a "Death Note" that makes the sound come from the computer itself, thus not being able to be shut off, and has many test subjects get that far. After testing it on Doctor O, he plans to upload it to an Allen Thicke webcast that would be watched by hundreds of millions. Despite Forumwarz being generally comedic, PS88 manages to be a shockingly dark villain.

And for Lion King musical, for the Other Media page and then for the Disney page:

Well, as I expected, [tup] less interesting Dracula. I should note though @43110 that Dracula only got interesting and sympathetic from Symphony of the Night. Before that, he was a very standard vampire lord. Indeed, if Castlevania inexplicably ended at Rondo he'd probably be listed as a CM.

I also watched Overlord today.

[tup] to Dracula.

Gonna make the write-up for Kanchapp later today, but I want to ask a question. I said earlier in my effort post that Fanfic!King Cold has redeeming qualities, but looking back on it, his sole Pet the Dog moment, telling Cooler how proud he was of him, was done only because Cooler proved to be powerful and useful, the chapter even stating earlier that when Cooler was attacked by Trunks, King Cold was shocked rather than concerned. So, I'm curious. If a villain shows kindness to their child solely because they prove to be useful, is that still a disqualifying factor?

Not in my opnion.

If you care about somone, you should care about them as a person, not because there a useful tool that you want to keep working well for you.

That's simple Pragmatic Villainy not a reddening trait.

On the pink rabbit I still think he counts becuase the story is still THERE it's cryptic as hell yes but still present.

So should I move the snake to music?

Also, before I de-pothole: Good lord, the Westeros Monsters are quite long.

  • ASOIAF:
    • Joffrey=276
    • Aerys=296
    • Gregor=303
    • Ramsay=280
    • Craster=181 (that's fine)
    • Rorge=256
  • GOT:
    • Joffrey=245
    • Gregor=232
    • Craster=132 (that's fine)
    • Ramsay=248
    • Walder=201 (that's fine)
    • Karl Tanner=271

So, for the books, Craster's fine, but the others are long. For the series, Craster, Walder, and maybe Gregor are okay, but Joffrey's and Ramsay's are getting up there, and Karl's entry is probably WAY too long for someone who only appeared in 4 eps.

This is a bit..as in really late. But on the Jeremiah Valeksa discussion that we had a while ago I voted abstain. I'm going to change that too a [tup]. The supposed mitigating qualities I brought up veered toward Alternate Charachter Interpretation. If season 5 introduced actual mitigating traits(Wich it dosent look like it will) well just cut him. Some still thought the ambiguity of the whole madness gas incident and if Jeremiah was telling the truth that he was always like this was a mitigating factor but in universe Bruce drops all sympathy for him and every one treats it as truth.but wether or not we as the audience belive him when he says he was Evil All Along the show itself dosent treat it otherwise.

Well, here's a write up for Kanchapp.

  • The Fall of Lord Frieza: General Kanchapp is a traitorous general within the Planet Trade Oragnization. Wishing to take over the empire, Kanchapp convinces the majority of the army to aid him in a rebellion against the Cold family, falsely promising them the liberation of their races while intending to be just as cruel a tyrant as Cold and his sons were. When he finds out about the life sapping Tree of Might, Kanchapp murders a group of space pirates for the tree, intending to have it spread across the galaxy knowing that this will wipe out life on countless planets. Kanchapp eventually leads an assault on Frieza's home planet, Arcos, with the intent of killing Frieza and all those who remain loyal to him. During Kanchapp's fight with Frieza, he kills several of his own men before destroying Arcos right in front of him just to hurt Frieza. Even when defeated, Kanchapp mocks Frieza before dying by saying that Frieza lost everything important to him.

I should point out Jason was responsible for Barbara pulling a Face–Heel Turn Wich was a reccuring plot element in the future seasons. So he stands out a bit for me.
