In this week's Patreon review, Linkara takes a look at the first Tremors movie:

Tremors, everyone’s OTHER favorite Kevin Bacon movie.

The sequels otoh were not so great, in part because they didn't have any Bacon.

New State of the Wall Post. Here's the run-down:

• As stated at the end of the Tremors review, the next review will be a return to Ultimate Power.
• May will be "Movie Adaptation Month", and look at the Comic Book Adaptations of Batman Forever, Street Fighter, Catwoman, Dune, and Superman IV: The Quest for Peace.
• The next History of Power Rangers is still set to be released for May 24th.
• After he finishes his playthrough of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening, he'll do another randomized Pokemon Nuzlocke for his Saturday streams. He's going to let his Patrons vote for which game he'll tackle next.
• On a similar note, he'll be doing a stream on Thursday to finish his randomized Yellow Nuzlocke he did for his Tax Stream last week.
• He'll announce his Secret Project he's been working on around the end of the month.

Man, Greg Land's work just looks so poor.

How the hell did Land get so much work?

So Linkara is gonna review the comic based off of Catwoman? Godspeed, my man.

Because he always meets deadlines.

For all that Land is extremely low effort, he is apparently the polar opposite of Liefeld in terms of scheduling.

I mean, one imagine that tracing and re-using art makes it a lot easier to make deadlines, of course.

If they don't show Pilo's abilities I'm going to feel seriously blue-balled. Also, if the Temlin are so powerful that they can just give away an Infinity Gauntlet as a prize, I feel Linkara should also be suspicious that they didn't do anything with either Lord Vyce or more importantly the Entity

Blue-and-Orange Morality?

Does the Infinity Gauntlet itself grant any superpowers, or is it merely a receptacle for the Infinity Gems? If the former, it's likely just a replica.

Pretty sure the Gauntlet itself doesn't bestow any powers. You need the Gems.

I bet if Pilo wins the Contest of Champions, he'll just transform into the Infinity Stones in order to "wear" the Infinity Gauntlet.

In the comics, the Infinity Gauntlet isn't special at all. It's just a thing that holds the Stones. In the MCU, it's necessary in order to use all of the Stones without being toasted. Other than that, it's still just a fancy gauntlet.

Yeah, the Infinity Gauntlet on its own is just a big fancy metal glove. Albeit one durable enough to channel the power of all of the Infinity Gems / Stones.

The Infinity Gems aren't even supposed to work outside their universe, so having them in conjunction with the gauntlet as a prize for a multi-universal tournament is pretty worthless unless you know which universe they come from and can access it...actually, shouldn't Comicron-1 have the power to go into different universes? It did have it as Lord Vyce's ship, and thanks to the brief Enemy Mine with Vyce unlocking its abilities they should be able to travel universes with it

I'm pretty sure they do work outside their own universe, as long as it's still the same multiverse. In fact, don't they canonically originate in the Gen 13 universe, or at least one of the Dark Horse or Image universes? (Damn, that retcon in Avengers/JLA has fiddly implications).

Nope. The Infinity Stones only work within their own universe.

I'd assume the Tamlins would make sure the Infinity Gauntlet would only work within the winner's home universe. Unless the twist is that all the prizes for the Contest of Champions are actually Booby Prizes.
