This is an outrage against Luminara! And isn't that Legacy of Darkness era Cornell in the panel right above Carrie? He's got the white hair, loose tunic, claw fingers...
Edit: Wait, why are there four Deaths on the right side? One's with Germain, the one down-right from it looks like the Netflix one, there's a pair of them in the upper right, one of which has a halo...
...and that's Galamoth to the bottom right of those two, isn't it? Okay, they're really pulling out all the stops.

Watch Dracula show up but it's just the wraith impersonating him from Harmony of Dissonance.
You are not alone.Whoops.
Edit: Can I get a screenshot of her, just in case I still can’t find her?

This is an outrage against Luminara! In the midst of arguing over who is and isn't here, it seems wrong to have such a mixed Castlevania cast crossover and not have Aeon. Especially considering I acknowledged both St. Germain and Galamoth being present.
Of course, we also haven't confirmed that some of these characters will actually be in the game.

I do hope that between this, the recent collections they've done over the years (Including the Dominus Collection recently), the Netflix series, and all the other collaborations, that Konami is taking notes and considering doing a new Castlevania.
Of course, the biggest issue is how, since the old series did end and Lords of Shadow failed, but Grimoire of Souls does (for all its flaws) show that it may not mean the end of Dracula. Death, at the least, will keep searching for ways to bring his true master back.
Also, there are still a few eras that have gone unrecorded.
I wonder if their reluctance is similar to why no one at Capcom wanted to do anymore Megaman (mainly, with the main show runner gone, others are reluctant to take up the torch).
One Strip! One Strip! You know Rob, I've had a bit of fun replaying some of Dawn of Sorrow, and I have to say, it's pretty funny how Dracula despite all the problems he runs into as Soma, is genuinely happy with his lot, while we know post SOTN, Dracula was going through a severe Villainous BSoD and just going through the motions of being an evil overlord, while Dmitrii and Dario were all hyped to be the newest Dark Lord.
Which would have basically condemned them to an eternity of getting reduced to a Belmont punching bag. Remember, Brauner had a good point about Dracula never actually achieving anything but getting his ass kicked repeatedly.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"This is true.
Though Brauner then got his ass kicked and was used to revive the dude who always loses.
....which means that, before you can be the new Dark Lord, you really have to get rid of death, since he insists that only Dracula can be the big bad. If Brauner had tried to make sure Death couldn't interfere first, maybe his plan would have succeeded.
One Strip! One Strip!Olrox in the post Dawn of Sorrow novel took it a step further. He tried to take control of Chaos — which by extension would have granted him control over Death. It's not clear whether it would have worked, since Death managed to put a stop to it before Olrox could complete it.

Disgusted, but not surprised![]()
It's funny because Death might actually end up accidentally becoming another hero since he peacefully accepts that Soma doesn't want to be Dracula anymore, and foils an attempt by Olrox to take over Castlevania because he's not Dracula.
Even the book notes there's a certain tragedy to Death's existence at this point. Since his loyalty is to Dracula first and foremost, according to Judgement and Lament, and Soma is a good guy now.

"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"Death's kinda the Beef Gate of the Dark Forces isn't he?
He's like Not my Dark Lord to literally everyone else.
He was Gigantomachia before Gigantomachia even existed.
And I get it you know. You declare Undying Loyalty to a dude, and you just want to see that dude win. But everybody is all like let someone else try and he's all like nah. I'm just gonna have the other guy do it again. The rest of y'all can get !@#$%-ed.
And thank god for that. The Belmonts probably would have lost if someone else tried, for no other reason than the fact that they might have been caught off guard by fighting someone who wasn't Dracula.
Or they'd have been up the new guy too, since it's the Belmonts.
One Strip! One Strip!![]()
Yeah, remember that in Portrait of Ruin, Brauner took over Castlevania and by implication, got the blessing of Chaos, and Crimson Stone, but Death STILL opposed him and was even willing to work with Johnathan and Charlotte to free Dracula.
It's a loyalty that goes beyond the Crimson Stone or Chaos. Genuine friendship right there.
"The Black Rage makes us strong, because we must resist its temptations every day of our lives or be forever damned!"I forgot about that detail. Even Walter only created the Ebony Stone.
Nothing more heartwarming than evil buddies being evil together, inflicting suffering on mortals, and laughing at the pain of their enemies.
Knocking back a few beers, razing some towns, the kinda shit friends do.

One Strip! One Strip!Yeah, a big part of alchemy is that just having the stone isn't enough. The real payoff is the effort you put into making it and what you learn from that. The journey is what counts.
Sure he didn't come up with the original recipe. But making it is still an achievement.

Disgusted, but not surprised

are you sure they aren't there but they just aren't in the trailer?
I remeber people thinking certain contra characters had been left out
This is an outrage against Luminara!
