Huh [1]
this concerns me.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Don't we have an actual Invader Zim topic? Not sure how this one flew for so long, but it be locked now, yo.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I'm informed that this is being used as the general discussion topic for the show. Fine, but I'm going to rename it to make that clear.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Did... did I enter a time portal into the early 2000's? Because that's what I kind of feel like right now.

Photo of the cast recording for this. Jhonen Vasquez is the guy with his back to the camera.
Have you any dreams you'd like to sell?Man, all that time I spent obsessed with this show as a middle schooler, and every time someone said something about this series coming back, I'd scoff and roll my eyes. AND NOW IT'S ACTUALLY HAPPENING 10+ YEARS LATER. WTF.
This series is 16 years old. Damn does that feel weird.

I remember the promos. I was little enough a big part of me thought we were actually going to get invaded by aliens.
And then I had an upset stomach the day it premiered and thought it was because of the show's art. So it wasn't until years later after it finished that I got into it.

Not really a fan of Invader Zim, but this revival is going to make Jhonen Vasquez's tweet about how Zim is still "Cancelled Forever" Hilarious in Hindsight.

I actually want to start watching the show again. I remember as a kid when I watched it & lost track of it.
