A man in a perfectly spotless, creaseless white suit in an environment that's obviously less clean than he is, yes. How about this deviantart pic of the same guy?
The broom and the boots make it clearer.
I agree, he doesn't look particularly neat to me. Maybe we could find a picture of Monk obsessively cleaning something.

Reaction Image RepositoryThere's nothing wrong with the current example. As a robot specifically designed for cleaning, M-O is the perfect example of the trope. However, if you'd like pictures of him cleaning, I took some screen caps:

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Just thought I'd submit this one as well (it's pretty funny since you actually get to see him "trailing")

You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.Having never seen Wall-E, I'd have to agree that the current pic doesn't work unless you know the character. The ones showing him(?) cleaning are also a little hard to make out action wise.
Sadly, Google Image Search gives me nothing.
somewhere out there, there's got to be a Camera Abuse scene of someone cleaning the camera. I know I've seen one before, but I can't tell where.
The sad, REAL American dichotomySigh..., I love M-O and just like how a lot of people were against changing the image for One-Winged Angel, I think the current image is perfect.
Still, if we simply must change the image, then we have to use a picture of Adrian Monk for either this or Super OCD.
If he was holding an alcohol bottle, two questions. First, why is it blue- have you ever seen blue alcohol before? Secondly, why would he be holding a white cloth in his right hand?
I think the image from Monk is pretty clear inasofitself, but I want to see if I can first find a better picture of M-O.
You are displaying abnormally high compulsions to over-analyze works of fiction and media. Diagnosis: TV Tropes Addiction.I am not familiar with Monk except that one of my chemistry professors kept mentioning that he loves that character, and the image is clear to me. YMMV.
(It's funny how OCD, a debilitating medical condition, has decayed into meaning "neurotic", and you have to specify SuperOCD to mean the serious medical condition.)
Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.I think "His obsessive compulsive disorder is on the fritz" is the best of the M-O images, but the problem is that the robots from Wall-E really tend to show their personalities via animation, not quite so much in still images.
I like the Monk #1 image. In another one of those "surprising gaps in Internet Image Archiving," there don't seem to be any good images of Felix Unger.
Jet-a-Reeno!^That's true. I mean I really really like M-O (I'm the one who actually added the original image of him on the Neat Freak page) but I agree that actions speak louder than words, and without his unique animation he just looks like a cleaning robot.
At any rate, if I can't find a descriptive enough image of him, I'll just add in all of those images to the Neat Freak Image links page when we're done.

Neat Freak has a picture of Wall-E and M-O that doesn't really convey the trope. I would suggest The Cleaner
◊ from Black Books as a replacement.
