Long list ahoy: Metal Gear Solid 4, both Assassins Creed games, Fallout 3 and New Vegas, Mass Effect, Dragon Age, Knights Of The Old Republic 2 (I don't care if it's unfinished; I love the KOTOR gameplay, but I'm tired of replaying the same quests over and over), Star Trek Online, Galactic Civilizations 2, Mirrors Edge, and probably others that I can't think of right now.

The only game I can think of that I'd like but have absolutely no way to play is Little Big Planet, because it's not available on Steam and there are no PS 3 emulators available yet.

I wouldn't mind trying my hand at Syndicate again, but last time I tried running it in DOS Box it didn't work. Mind you, that was a year or so ago, so maybe the DOS Box devs have fixed enough bugs to make it playable by now?

I'd like to play Homeworld, but I can't even install it. The installation program just crashes on me.

I would like to play some more of Quake 2, but it doesn't want to work under Windows 7. Oh well, at least Quake 3 works.

Pre-XP Windows games seem to be pretty unreliable under Windows 7. Maybe we need something to emulate Windows 98 under current versions of Windows.

Banjo Tooie. My N64 is fucked up and it's the only game that can't be emulated correctly by project 64. -sniff-

@Roxor: Probably. DOS Box version 0.74 seems to be more recent.

ARMA 2, Stalker: Call of Pripyat, and Fallout: 3 and Fallout: New Vegas on the PC. Big difference from the console versions. >.>

I don't have 2000 dollars to spend on a decent gaming PC.

Once upon a time, I got Mass Effect, and it was good. I played it until the part of the game where you first open the starmap on the ship to select your next destination. When I opened it, the game crashed spectacularly, and Google found no solutions. sad

I really wish I could play Dark Cloud. Disgaea 3, too. I saw it lying in the store way back, but didn't get it when I had the chance. Never saw it again.

Any game I'm interested in on the PSP, namely the remakes of Persona 3 and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood. There just isn't enough games to justify me buying one, though that number is starting to grow for once.

Might and Magic VI-VIII, Heroes of Might and Magic II and III, and Dungeon Keeper 2, due to either having lost the C Ds or having a computer "too powerful" to now play them. :(

And any Zelda game besides Phantom Hourglass and Spirit Tracks, as they're the only games released for DS.

Oh, and Phoenix Wright, as the games aren't available where I live anymore, and the only friend I know who owns them refuses to lend them to me. :/

This is the reason I'm not sure whether or not to buy GTAIV. I think my laptop can run it at the bare minimum, but that's never fun.

I have never owned a console in my life so my list will probably be just a looooong list of console games. In fact the only FF games I have played is VII and VIII because they have PC ports.

Any particular reason you prefer the DOS Box? Just curious because Syndicate was released for the SNES and there are a few solid emulators right there.

Because Bullfrog made some decent-to-good DOS games.

Kingdom Hearts: Birth By Sleep. x_x I don't have a PSP, so I've already watched all the scenes...but I really wish I could actually play it!

I wouldn't bother with GTA 4. I found it to be a huge disappointment. Oh well, at least I wasn't the one who paid for it.

I have the CD for the DOS version and I like being able to use a mouse. Oh, and the graphics resolution is higher.

Tested it in DOS Box. Still doesn't work. It gets to the point where I can pick either the original or the expansion pack levels, but once I pick one, the game crashes and dumps me back to the prompt.

Portal 2, HL 2 EP 3, F-Zero X (because I don't have an N64), F-Zero (no SNES), and any games newer than 2008, because chances are, my computer won't run it at a playable framerate, playable being above 40.

Also, MAKAI KINGDOMS.

Though with NIS' behaviour these days, I'm just gonna pray for a PSP release.

@ Alette For Heroes of Might & Magic III, GOG.com is you're friend. I think I also saw Dungeon Keeper 2 there at least and you might be able to get some of the other PC games you want as well.

As for me I'd like to play more Super Robot Wars games. Particularly ones that have non-originals. So far I've played Super Robot Wars 3, Original Generation, Original Generation 2, and Alpha Gaiden.

There's a few cabinets outside of Japan, none of which are within commute-grade distance.

There's also an iPad port, but I don't have an iPad, and even if I had one I'd need to snap up a Japanese iTunes card.

i want to play, Mass Effect (the first one as there's a port coming to PS 3) damn it why didn't they just port the first one or something, knight of the old republic, Grim Fandango

It's not exactly naive. And it can happen. But it's tough. And definetly worthwhile.
