Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!It's supposed to be distinct from Spin-Off Babies, which is poorly named if it is supposed to be "any fictional character, shown at a younger age that originally written at"
And Young Frankenstein isn't an example of either one, since he's The doctors descendant, not younger self.
Pretty sure Spin-Off Babies is taking the entire set of characters from a show and adding them all as younger. Like The Negima
◊ Spin-Off Babies (which may be a play on the trope since the Youngest Character of the series is now older and the older ones are now Younger) or A Pup Named Scooby Doo.
Add a section for Fictional Characters shown when younger if in a cameo or such?
Sparkling and glittering! Jan-Ken-Pon!Raso is right. Don't believe we have the trope of showing the younger years of an actual character. I should YKTTW something like this X The Early Years
^ I seriously doubt it. Even with the name, a good chunk of people won't know who he is.
Hamilton isn't nearly as famous as say, Washington or Lincoln.

Reaction Image Repository^^Only problem is that Lincoln doesn't exactly appear to be in his youth.

I'm afraid that the above pic of young Lincoln is as close as we're going to get from meeting the requirement of having a young historical figure with an iconic feature of their future famous self. Kids don't wear adult clothing unless they're playing dress-up, nor do they have facial hair.
"The one duty we owe to history is to rewrite it." (Oscar Wilde)@Sean Murray: he's not a youth, per se, but he certainly looks younger than the age at which most images portray him. He certainly doesn't look older than maybe 30 at most, which is a good 20 years younger than his most famous appearance.

Reaction Image RepositoryThat really wouldn't look like Mozart to me if I didn't know from your telling me.
Infinite Tree: an experimental storyFun fact: no bearded candidate has ever won a US presidential election. Incorrect.

Becky: Who are you? The Mysterious Stranger: An angel. Huck: What's your name? The Mysterious Stranger: Satan.

Can we find an image where the famous person is depicted at a younger age than when they gained fame, but shows the same iconic features as later in life. There's no way of knowing that the page image is of Che without the caption.
