Oh I forgot to mention, they have scales; but that may be incompatible with your style.

Hey people,

No new art today (I've been moving. Just got my tablet unpacked!), but I'm going to get to work again now.

AHR, can you tell me anything about the people in that picture? Knowing about their personalities and relationships would help me figure out a good way to draw them.

American Badass and Aliroz, you both have placeholders but you haven't put in actual requests yet. Sometime here you should let me know what you want me to draw (and yes, you had a placeholder, so it's free).

Sure can. Tallest guy can generate lightning, has a metal pole for fighting strapped to his back and is in his early twenties. He's largely someone who is attempting to be the 'cool mentor' type, but not entirely succeeding. His hair is pretty long, and is in a low ponytail. His hair is also dyed, it's black in the picture, but naturally a light gray.

He's supposed to be wearing a similar coat to something worn in the revolutionary war, only a more subtle color.

The girl and boy are less developed. They are cousins, the boy of a younger age than the girl. The boy has -special- eyes, and the girl has claws ala Wolverine, only she has five, and they come out of her knuckles. She also lacks a regenerative ability, so every time she actually takes them out, they tend to tear through skin. They also do indeed see the tall guy, their mentor, as incredibly cool. Their clothes would be more ragged ish, since they were originally street rats.

I would say they are around the ages of 13-10.

Okay I've got three characters here, is that okay? I've got two dollars so coloured.

Copied straight from the St Cyp's thread, all credit to Furiko for the descriptions.

Now keep in mind that they're all twelve (all though Farely-see bellow is an early bloomer and puberty has hit him like truck) and wearing a school uniform consisting of a light red buttoned shirt, which has a school logo on the left pocket that's a big stylized C surrounded by flowing script that say Saint Cyprian. They're wearing dark blue pant's well except for Mel she's wearing a skirt.

And if you wan't backround info Cyril and Melissa are a cousins and a witch and a warlock whoose mother's were magical while they're mum's are also magical. Farely is their mortal friend who attempts to pass as a warlock. They go to a school called Saint Cyprian.

Mel looks quite a bit like her father; slim, with straight, thick black hair. She wears it down around her shoulders, or back in a ponytail when she's working on something. Her face is pale and thin, and one of her eyes is dark grey while the other is greyish-purple. She refuses to wear socks, yet amazingly never gets blisters. Were she an anime character, she would probably have Tsurime.

Cyril physically takes after his mom's side - he's tan, with caramel-brown hair and a round face with wide-set eyes. His hands are nearly twice the size of Mel's delicate, bird-boned ones. His right eye is very dark brown, and his left is the colour of cocoa. He and Mel have the same determined chin and full lips their mothers share, meaning that despite looking very little alike, they have the same smile.

Farely is very, very tall for his age and has quite a wide stance, definite future rugby player potential. Dark blond hair in a mullet, has a lot of frekles, It'd be great if you drew him in a stereotypical witche's hat self concioously trying to look magical.

And how would you like us to pay by the way?

OK, so I've got a bunch of new artwork done, but I'm currently on the world's worst wireless connection, so I'll never be able to upload them. I'm just going to keep plugging away so that whenever I end up with actual working internet I'll have tons and tons of pictures ready.

Do you have a nearby library, or friends you could mooch off of?

But good luck regardless ^_^.

Could you please draw a 15-year-old Bulgarian guy wearing a Roman legionnaire's armor? Or is this a bad time?

Ironic, huh?

So, predictably, I'm mooching internet. But new art justifies the means.

Alex is inked. That's a brush inking and I'll probably do a lot of those from now on.

The merfolk now have some patterns on their tails.

I also have new linework:

Mysh. That is going to take a long time to ink. He's got a dao dagger as a side weapon instead of a katzbalger to make him look more fusion.

My version of AHR's New Guard. EDIT: OK, now it works. I knew I was going to do that!

The creature for Ettina's brother. Does it have a name?

P.S. I'm working on Edward Suzumura, but for some reason I'm having a really hard time with him. I'll have him up soon.

I guess just $1? I'd been thinking that those merfolk lose a lot (scales etc) when drawn with plain line art and would look better if shopped properly.

Regarding Alex: Very nice, I like how some of the tattoo's have come out kind of Celtic. I'm curious to see how you'll manage to make the snake eyes stand out when the tentacles are coloured.

Ooooooooh. I like it! The one thing that I would say is off is Nicky's (the tall one) lack of hair. It should be thickerish than that, and go down in a low ponytail a bit. Could just be perspective though.

YOU´RE UP TO MINE!

...Ahem. Here´s some information about the character, if it helps. Ed is the son of the head of a massive crime syndicate, heavily based on the yakuza. His few friends outside the organisation know him as an accountant. He is constantly overworked, and usually trades sleep for coffee. Somewhat aloof, but far more friendly when he´s not buried under mountains of work, being shot at or defusing possible gang war situations. As far as combat goes, the only weapon he usually needs is his fists..
