This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.
The Forum Rules
apply here.
Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't spam the thread about your appeal, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

I'd say delete it entirely.
When you think that we have a trope, but you can't find it, ask in Lost And Found.
If there's a trope you think we don't have at all, make a YKTTW for it, to get as many minds as possible working on it.
If there's a page you want to make, but you don't have it in finished form, make a Sandbox to work on it in.
Sir, the attitude is not going to speed things up any bit at all.

"Yup. That tasted purple."I just don't know HOW LONG the suspension is, so i don't know what to do.
@Pikazilla: Explain to me why you've been a troper for two years and don't know the proper procedure for creating an article. I have no faith at present that you'll have learned anything should we reinstate you.
This also isn't the first time you've been to this thread.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"Well when i did make a mistake it was the first time I made those mistakes. I don't know what all the rules are for making the trope posts and I wasn't intentionally trying to break the rules- i don't know what they all are. Also I don't see why I am not warned of my mistakes before being suspended nor is the amount of time i am suspended for ever mentioned.
I am not trying to be disrespectful, I am not harming anyone, I am not trying to be a bad guy here. I learn from my mistakes, and I have contributed much to this 'wiki' for tropes. If I should have a temporary suspension, so be it as long as it is temporary.
@Pikazilla: I'll restore your editing privileges. Take the time to learn how the wiki works. You can start with Welcome To TV Tropes.
@Bertandernie: I'm really curious how you explain creating a subpage with the contents below.

"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I'm planning of adding a new trope called "Mitsuki Akasaka Expy" (which is a variation of the Yandere trope, kind of like how the Shana Clone trope is a variation of the Tsundere trope) on the YKTTW page. However, adding proposed tropes on the YKTTW page requires having editing priveledges, and since my editing priveledges have been suspended for more than half a year due to my needless edits and I learned better not to do such needless edits, I'm planning on having my suspension lifted.

@lu 127: well, my proposed trope is my first one. The reason why I came up with my proposed trope is because of some yandere examples acting in near-exactly the same as each other (heavily Level 3 Yanderes and place heavy emphasis on the "Yan" part (i.e. incredily Ax-Crazy); have a very creepy obsession with his/her love; and would kill people who happened to get too close to that Yandere's loved one). It's kind of like how the Shana Clone was made because of a Tsundere character whose characteristics for that archetype established the requirements for the Shana Clone Expy trope (teenage with a childlike body-type, coupled with Napoleon Complex, Mistaken Age, and A-Cup Angst; Rapunzel Hair; wears clothes with skirts for the majority of her screentime, such as Joshikousei, or long Elegant Gothic Lolita style dresses, and having Gradee A Zettai Ryouiki; heavily a Type A Tsundere; and female lead of the series). I am planning on repairing the Yandere trope.

Machini, you have been banned from wiki-side activities. That means you don't get to use the forums to get other people to do your work for you, especially when what you want to do continues to betray a misunderstanding of tropes. Don't give me an excuse to slap a full ban on you.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"what can i do then? Am i this bad of an editor?

You appear to be one of those people who doesn't grasp that the purpose of the wiki proper is not to have a conversation about whatever weird ideas float to the top of your head. You have shown no grasp of that since we banned you. Therefore, we will not unban you. Simple.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"You call that "not thinking". We call it vandalism. Give me one reason why we shouldn't permanently ban you.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"How about this edit on December 22nd, in HoYay.Redwall?
Let's see the problems here, shall we?
- First person: not allowed on wiki pages.
- Removing things that offend you, a.k.a. bowdlerizing: not allowed on wiki pages.
- Page blanking, a.k.a vandalism: not allowed on wiki pages.
But it was offensive to Brian Jacques's works by making fun of people being gay, which, by the way, they never were. So when am I going to be allowed to edit again?
No it's not. Don't be dense. Ho Yay is a fan phenomenon that exists independent of author intent. You don't get to decide that it's offensive and then insert an insulting comment in the page itself. As far as we're concerned, you don't get to edit ever again unless you acknowledge this.
"It's Occam's Shuriken! If the answer is elusive, never rule out ninjas!"I think under thinks that 'gay' is an insult. In nearly 2013. Huh.
Goal: Clear, Concise and WittyDoes the name Sugarbabe 1988 ring a bell?
If you're banned from editing unless you run your edits through a thread that was pointed out to you, why do you think it's a good idea to make a new handle and start editing as if you hadn't been banned in the first place?
Quod gratis asseritur, gratis negatur.

Ah thank you Madrugada. Now I can put the quote in the appropriate trope. I thought it existed but I couldn't find it without your help. So should we make the page "False Cause Of Death" redirected to one of these tropes or just delete it entirely?
