This is the thread we use to talk things over with people who have received a suspension notice. A lot of the time the notice goes out just so we can explain how seriously we take certain things, not because we want the person to feel bad and go away.
If you're suspended, give What to Do If You Are Suspended a read, then post here to begin your appeal. We try to respond to appeals in order via batch posts every few days. If a moderator has responded to your appeal, you will receive a notification in your private messages, even if you're suspended from PMs.

Don'ts
- Don't be rude. Rule 1 applies here, too.
- Don't try to negotiate your suspension outside of this thread, such as by sending Private Messages to moderators or posting elsewhere. Such activity may be thumped or otherwise removed, and may warrant an additional suspension block if it keeps happening. All communications have to take place within this thread.
- Don't respond to other suspended users. This is a place for you to discuss your suspension, not others'.
- Don't post multiple times about your appeal if it hasn't been a few days since your last reply from us, since it makes it more difficult to compose responses. If you've posted, we're likely looking at it, and kindly request you to be more patient.
- Don't make another account to try and get around your suspension. This is called ban evasion and will get you bounced. (Again, read What to Do If You Are Suspended if you don't know what these words mean.)

Alright, I understand now. In the future, I will just stick around adding recap image and the related tropes as I'm not very good in English especially the complicated words.

As the whole issue revolved around the YMMV page, resort to PMs for discussion if I disagree with another person's edits / another person doesn't agree with mine. I think this is more important on YMMV pages since those are for tropes that are, for one reason or another, subjective depending on the reader/viewer.

Ok, now that I understand what I did wrong, I promise that I will now give an example to tropes I add in, or at least explain why I put it in if I have a hard time explaining properly. And I’ll also use the proper grammar.
At least I would like to be explained for the reason behind my suspension. Suddenly shoving like this isn't a good way to go.
~Septimus Heap: Hi, sorry, a week ago, I posted an entry about an appeal regarding my suspension. I got no reply. I was wondering if I had to give you a private message or post it again. After getting your reply, I posted it again. Here's what I wrote down below. It's under the four lines.
I think I started to get the hang of it after the suspension. I even checked Ray Fox pages on both sites (Fur Affinity and Ray Fox website) to see if they match with the YMMV tropes that I deleted. The problem with Ray Fox is that it's a very long comic. Each chapter is like more than 60 pages long so they update yearly. Digital comics are hard to make, I've watched a few over the years and they take a while to update. This goes double for Ray Fox because of the insane chapter length. It takes about a year to make a new chapter and this leaves the reader with mixed opinions that change with the next chapter. To be fair, I wasn't a fan of Asuka and Summer for how they treated Ray in Chapter 2 (Asuka interrogated Ray without permission and, while she did a point about his vigilante career because Liev knew his identity, she did bend the law a bit in the chapter. Meanwhile, Summer was very hostile to Ray, physically and verbally.) It's until Chapter 3 where they show their better traits, with Asuka trying to get Morales to make Ray a hero (and expressing guilt over how she and her underlings treated him after he repaid them by saving their lives) and Summer facing consequences for her actions while also showing her reasons for them and later owning up to them when her enmity with Ray endangers him. The comic is currently in Chapter 4 with Ray being released from jail and making the first steps to becoming a hero. I am not going to lie, there will be moments that leave bad taste in your mouth (interrogation in Chapter 2 and how Summer interacts with Ray in Chapter 3 until she starts working together with him) but I checked the comment sections in both sites and little to none reacted negatively enough to warrant some tropes. I am willing to provide examples if that's what you want. I never intended to make an edit war or cause trouble. That's all I can say about the issue for the time being. I will wait for your reply.

~WDS — I'm not understanding how creating a stub page is either removing "a lot of noise" or adding "good edits". Another example is adding Darth wiki links (Ruined Forever) to main trope pages. In the reverse, you deleted aspects of Ruined FOREVER from RuinedForever.Live Action Films, such as the logo change for Star Wars and dislike of The Rise of Skywalker, the way the Transformers was rewritten from "people complain about these things" to "these films suck". Not everything was terrible, as cutting down the natter is a good idea, but you're also adding natter and removing examples as if their opinions aren't allowed. You are adding noise even when you're intending to remove it. This is not about specific edits, but the general trend.

Your response is to tell us stuff like "Digital comics are hard to make, I've watched a few over the years and they take a while to update", which has nothing to do with your suspension. You will remain suspended until the issues with your edits are properly addressed.

Crazy Samaritan: have you taken a closer look at the Star Wars edits? The info that I removed was horribly out of date, much of it from before Episode 7 had been released in theaters, and much of it was people responding to each other, in violation of two TV Tropes policies. I replaced it with the historical facts surrounding the production and pre-production of the sequel trilogy, peppered with the fan "consensus" that had emerged after the sequel trilogy was finished. As for Transformers, most of the garbage in that section (characters not having the exact same vehicle modes that they had in 1984, CGI being too expensive for a movie where the robots were the main characters, etc.) was stuff that the fans had gotten over before the first movie was even released. I know because I participated in the Don Murphy message boards back in 2005-2006; the Don Murphy boards even had a poll asking fans what they thought of Michal Bay being appointed the director, and around 3/4 of them approved. From about the second movie onward, the primary gripes that fans had with every live-action movie were the same ones that critics had: that the plots made no sense, the humor was juvenile, the action incomprehensible, and they just failed from a basic filmmaking point of view. If you want me to use those specific words instead of "genuinely horrible", that's okay and I'll make that change, but it's far from "natter" and far from being ban-worthy in my opinion.
Note: I've been editing TV Tropes for a lot longer than this account has existed. I did most of my troping back in the days when there were no separate "YMMV" pages, and a much more casual and opinionated writing style was permitted (or at least common). I acknowledge that my acclimation to the new format has been... imperfect. I'll try to work on that. Ironically, the one "new" rule that has stuck in my mind the most, the one against writing from multiple points of view, AKA the rule against "natter"... the very rule that you accuse me of violating... is the whole reason why I'm removing (mis)information, instead of saying "well actually here's why that example doesn't count" or "almost nobody ever had that complaint".

I see now why I am suspended in the first place. Can I have another chance please? I promise I won't associate with The Pat ever again by ban him in my messages. And for my sandbox 3, I'm going to to work on that by split it in different sections.

No. I properly removed a lot of noise and unfounded claims and added good edits, and one person threw a tantrum about it. Regarding the specific case of the Monkey Island games, I eventually settled for making the same point with a less colorful choice of words. I'm willing to discuss each of the other changes individually and explain my reasoning if you want.
