6/10.
Sorry, I love Simon & Garfunkel... but the production of this makes it a difficult listen. There's a great song there, but unless it's presented in a way that's pleasant to listen to, I can't be doing with that..
Wait until you get past the hideously cheesy 80sness of the first version and then adore the chorus.
Did you see the stylish kids in the riot?4/10. Got better once bass&drums entered, but still horribly, horribly... mild? Not enough salt for me.
Anyways, here's something different from the 80s.
I just have to say that I utterly LOVE those vocals. Not only do they provide a nice contrast, but I'd just like to marry the girl with such a voice. Adorable.

'It's gonna rain!'9/10 - Can't beat the Ink Spots, especially for Soundtrack Dissonance.
[Today's Jo Jo]
Oh GOD Mac Arthur Park. I haven't thought about that song in years. You know, it's funny, I kind of actually like the melody of the song, but the lyrics throw it well on to my all time groaners list. I'll give it a solid 6/10, for that direct dissonance.
You know, make that 5/10 because it never fucking ends.
Try this little number on for size.

I hate Brendan Steere6/10. It's musically a bit on the dull side, I think, nothing that would catch my ear if I heard it somewhere else. However, this bit in the lyrics is rather fantastic:

Like the night my girl went away, gone off in a world filled with stuff6/10. I like the way Japanese flows when sung, though I don't always like how it actually sounds, and this is an example of that. I also like the instrumentation, though it eventually got kinda boring. Wasn't paying attention to the lyrics, so I have no idea if I like those.

"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."8/10 I love Frank Zappa, although that's not one of my favourite songs.

"I can't imagine what Hell will have in store, but I know when I'm there, I won't wander anymore."

8/10 - Good song, but I was a little disappointed once I figured out it wasn't a punk cover of "We Built This City".
