Yeah I get that too when I'm looking at a thinner Garret but in his more bulkier look he more stongly reminds me of Christian Bale, plus the gruff voice.
And Hayden Christiansen is SUPPOSED to be good actor, well that's what I hear. I never liked him in Jumper or Star Wars but he was generally resigned to playing whiny assholes.

A wish is never free.Know what amazes me?
That Disney could hire Elijah Wood to play the lead main character in their upcoming tie-in animated prequel series.
Long live Cinematech. FC:0259-0435-4987Well, voiceovers are less time consuming than a full on acting role. And in recent years, animated films are showing more and more big name actors in the cast.
Or maybe he's just a Tron fan.

You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.As did I.
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.Plus, we'll get more of Boxleitner as Tron.
Thunder, Thunder, Thunder...Man I can't believe they blew so much money on trying to make Jeff Bridges look younger when it looked pretty much like the effects of FF: Spirits within which I think was in the tropes article.
What they should have done is get Kurt Russel to play Clu, and then use some CGI to make him look younger like they did for Patrick Steward in Xmen 3. Also Kurt Russel is awesome.
A wish is never free. The ending was sad.
The father isn't coming back with his son...
The only thing that really bugged me about Clu was the hair, it just didn't work right. He would move his head and the hair just didn't move right.
You will never love a women as much as George Lucas hates his fans.HAHAHAHAHAHAHA!
A wish is never free.So I checked up on this on Wikipedia out of curiosity:
What the actual hell.
Why are people paid to make these decisions?
I'M MR. MEESEEKS, LOOK AT ME!News, everyone!
Yeah, it's still got Leto involved, but it's looking explicitly like a proper sequel instead of a reboot no one asked for.
"I...Fight for the USERS!"
(that said: God damn it, it's Jared Leto).
"All you Fascists bound to lose."RE:Leto. "A finger on the monkey's paw curled."
We now have a director attached to the next TRON movie: Garth Davis.
For reference, Davis is known for his arthouse films like Mary Magdalene and Lion with the TRON movie being his first big tentpole. Apparently, he actively pursued the gig of directing and won over the executives, so we can only assume he's one of us...
Bump.
Who wants Daft Punk's banging soundtrack for Tron: Legacy on vinyl? Because Mondo will have your back just in time for the music's 10th anniversary!
...was kind of hoping that one of those 2020 miracles was happening and we were getting a continuation of Tron, but ok.
And we are getting a sequel. Hurray.

What do you mean “no one”?? I’ve been listening to this soundtrack for the past ten years! (of 2020)
Aye, this soundtrack has been a constant reminder for me that there is light and warmth and hope somewhere in the universe since the day it came out
PSN ID: FateSeraph Congratulations! She/TheyMore to do with Daft Punk instead of Tron, but...
After 28 years, Daft Punk are splitting up...
Addendum: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
*sad beep boops*
Really? I thought of Garret Hedlund as like Hayden Christiansen except a good actor.
