The current page image for Chinese Girl is a blond wearing a Chinese dress. Not an actual Chinese Girl. Can we find an actual trope example to use?

Hey, the caption said to ignore the blonde hair and the tanned skin!

She is quite Chinese. Infact its very rare for a Chinese Girl in anime to actually have the right color hair. However that is a very bad fan colored image. [1][2][3]

well anyway what about her BFF Chao? [4] [5]

This is how Anime, manga and Video games deals with Chinese girls not just any girl from china.

I think the first pic of Chao is the best of what's been suggested.

I think it would be better with a Dragon Lady Dress (or whatever the hell it's called).

Dragon Lady is already a different trope. And it contrasts this trope.

I specifically meant the dress. Which shows up a lot when they want to make a character Chinese. The little wrapped hair buns, the weird shoes and the dragon dress.

[1] The full version adds Meat Buns to the mix but has text ><. There is also this and [2]

There is also this which is on her character sheet. (From volume 9's cover)

Hey J Teeth remember which ep [3] this was? I have the series but can't remember which ep this was to look for a better screenshot...

I like #2 with the dress. The one where she's kicking is harder to see.

The kicking one is just an image via googlefu there was a whole scene with her in that outfit not just kicking... For the life of me I can't remember what ep that was (scanning though all the eps and I didn't see it)

For the record, the chinese dress is called a Qipao.

I think we should use Chun-Li as the page image, since she's the most iconic Chinese Girl in gaming and even has Ur-Example points there. Here's another image showing her fighting stance.

[up] Well, that one is rather suggestive, and, while I like Chun-Li, and you're right, she's the Ur-Example, I don't think she's the best example, either. Of all the ones I got, I like Pai Chan, because it's simple, she looks physically Chinese (as far as the designers make Asian faces in video games, at least), and the outfit is very Chinese. I also like the last Jade Empire example, because we get a background in it.

The fighting stance picture is already used on her character sheet... unless that isn't a problem.

Also from Jade Empire Dawn Star. Couldn't find a good picture of Heavenly Lily.

Jade Empire doesn't count for this trope. Everyone is Chinese and the characters in it don't fit the trope's requirements.
