"What the-oh, bring it!"

-Ragna starts running and, after a few seconds, realizes he's not going to catch Sonic like this. He uses Carnage Scissors, dashing at high speed towards the Wonderland Plaza entrance.-

"Carnage Scissors!"

@Artemis: No pressure, man. It happens when it happens, if you don't have free time right now, it's no big deal. DD and I seem pretty well-occupied repeatedly kicking each others' asses.

-Is in Paradise Plaza-

-Sonic runs faster, after seeing Ragna steadily closing on him-

-Ragna continues to gain on Sonic, but his Carnage Scissors attack abruptly stops when they're even, and Ragna is stuck running, causing Sonic to pull ahead.-

"Son of a biiiiiiiiitch!"

-Sonic is now within 50 meters from the entrance-

"Sonic's the name..."

-Ragna is spamming his Hell's Fang attack to gain short bursts of speed.-

-35 meters remaining to the entrance/finish line-

-Ragna uses one more Carnage Scissors attack to speed towards the WP entrance.-

"Carnage Scissors!"

-He's gaining on Sonic again.-

-12.5 meters remaining. The distance between Sonic and Ragna is almost zero, as in Ragna's in the lead. Sonic pushes himself to the limit-

-Ragna and Sonic cross the finish line at almost exactly the same time. It is next to impossible to tell who won.-

Imma let you field this one.

"Yeah! Looks like another one bites the dust!"

-Sonic wags his finger at Ragna, obviously taunting him-

Dash and Ragna fought over her antics; this time, it's because of the lack of a camera to decide the photo finish. In other words, I expect Sonic to get into an argument over a photo finish. Yeah. :/

"What?! I crossed the entrance first! Look at the footsteps!"

-Sonic points to the footsteps in Leisure Park near the entrance-

-Ragna points to one of his footsteps behind the finish line, then one right after it.-

"I take longer steps than you, since I'm not 3-foot-nothing. I crossed first!"

"But my feet crossed it before yours!"

-points to a series of small, dirty footsteps that "crosses" the Plaza entrance-

"I crossed it mid-step, furball! Do I need to go over the "I'm taller" thing again?!"

"Oh yeah? This comes from the guy who races by propelling himself with an oversized chunk of metal!"

-points to Ragna's weapon, then to himself with a smug grin-

"At least I raced fair and square!"

And this comes from the guy who needs a spring to jump any higher than 1.25x his own height, can't swim without a life vest, and who still can't outrun a black hole!

-Ragna says nothing, instead responding with a Gauntlet Hades and Back Spin Kick aimed at Sonic's face.-

"Gauntlet Hades!"

-Sonic spindashes to the side-

"Ooh, looks like somebody's a sore loser!"

-Ragna chases Sonic down and throws a Hell's Fang and an Additional Blow at him.-

-Sonic runs around Ragna to dodge his attacks, then uses Homing Attack from behind-

-Ragna is struck in the back of the head by Sonic's Homing Attack and falls flat on his face. He gets up and swings his massive sword at Sonic, covered in darkness (Soul Eater attack. Steals health.).-

-Sonic runs away from the Soul Eater, then counters by immediately spinball-charging him-

-Ragna tries to hit Sonic with Inferno Divider when he gets close, and follows up with Uppercut and Straight Punch (Exactly What It Says on the Tin) if Inferno Divider connects.-

-Sonic bounces to dodge ID, then bounces again to strike Ragna in the face-
