Even so, I'm dubious as to whether five to eight people, with only text to communicate with, will be able to figure out and agree on what's where. While that is not an issue in the actual game, as it's the computer's problem, it's a big problem for this game. Considering how the map on the Doomwiki looks, and the fact that you can't really get an aerial view of the level in-game, we can't really see what the whole map looks like at once; an improtant thing, as we don't have any landmarks.
This is also a problem with the Citadel; the map of it doesn't tell you what the place actually looks like, and the level itself isn't made to fit more than a single player, anyways.
We are not voting yet, although we should be soon. This is just a list of suggestions that have been previously made. I still expect to eliminate some of these. I'll be reposting this here and there when it changes, or when we come to a new page.

A lot of these could use a better link, though. Try for images or videos that let you see the layout and appearance of the settings.

Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman.Citadel is chopped, and I doubt we're going to get a better link for any of the maps than what we've got already (besides New Saint's Row, but a Youtube search of that was thoroughly unhelpful). Only question left is, do we cut Mt Erebus?
And after we answer that, we'll get to voting. How does that sound?

You know what, screw this sideways with a hacksaw. I'll start the votes this evening. Just make sure to talk me into getting on the computer, so I can make a textwall. Flipping iPod is fine for BANNED posts, Youtube, and keeping me up at night in the morning, but I'mma want to use a keyboard for this.

Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman.Internet's not working. Dunno when it will be. Will catch up at college if it's not fixed before we leave.
Ponders too much; thinks too little. Currently goes by Knowlessman.Gonna get it going later today. Gonna PM some of the other regulars before we start.
Would appreciate buffer posts to the next page in the meantime.
If nothin's happened by the fourth, it's safe to assume that my internet fucked up again.
EDIT: Tryin' to sleep now. Later.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jXkI1sTDoEg*sulk* You guys aren't the one who's gonna have to think up a bossfight that's not laughably out of place. I should've taken that into account ages ago...
Anyways, the voting'll start on the next topper. It'll close when I feel like ending it once I think enough people have shown up to vote. Details in the topper.

What did I tell you?
1. I'm trying not to make them predictable.
2. I don't know nor care who the actual boss for the level is.
3. As you said, he's a joke. Probably even more so when the player characters have access to more powerful weapons than their feet.

well, as I said, it is quite a large map. and Doom also DOES have multiplayer functionality, and it is even possible in later releases to remove all the demons and such from the maps entirely, turning things into a fragfest. The map IS designed for single playert, but it can work without.
..also, very fittingly, Doom music was playing while making this post. (at random.)
