-Jumps onto the monster's back, retrieves his knife, and jumps back off, emptying his last three bullets into it on the way-

Magazines have fifteen bullets each, he's got a possibly indefinite number of them, the gun's a Glock, whatever that means, and the only one of those facts that I actually know from his comic of origin is that it's called a Glock (which I believe has something to do with who made it). tongue

Karen circles around the dying beast, being careful to stay out of its reach.

"How are we going to finish it off?"

[down] Roger that.

Maybe I should do something about it.

Eu- you need a blood sample first.

"You know how to kill it without having it rip your head off? And it requries the creature's blood?"

Karen thinks for a second, then takes out the knife that she acquired in the general store and very, very carefully cuts the creature.

"Make haste with whatever you're going to do! This thing will probably start regenerating any second!"

Oh! Okay. We-we need some sort of structural restorative. Maybe we could find one at Recette's shop.

""Structural restorative?" What the hell is that? What exactly will this concoction do?

It'll restore her biological function to its original form.

I think Recette's shop is over there.

"It will make the monster into a normal person again? If you say so..."

Karen picks her rifle up off of the ground and starts walking towards Recette's shop.

"I'm keeping this on hand, though."

Is Anno even on?

[down] I assumed as much. It would be very in-character for Karen to finish off the beast as soon as she knew that they couldn't turn it back. I don't want to ruin anyone's fun, though...

[up][up]Just to be sure, there is no way in hell you're gonna find this anywhere in town. It's an outside bet Recette'll have any kind of anti-shapeshifting potion, too, I should say.

I'm on. Umm... Would the Healing potions count as something that could restore normal body functions? They do heal injuries.

[up]I kind of doubt it. It's not a wound we're talking about, and calling it by anything as simple as poison would be a stretch.
