Random musing: I lowkey think Yotsuyu might be one of my favorite villains in the series.
She has an incredibly powerful Freudian Excuse, for one, and her arc is helped along by both Gosetsu being a giant cuddly grandpa bear and her parents and Asahi being awful cartoon villains.
On the steam preorder page the description of squalls gunblade for the collector preorder includes a
They seriously felt the need to include that? rofl
You forget just how...."quirky" people can be with some things in games.
The derpy boi is HERE.◊
Very likely he'll be the unique mount from Hydratos chests. Since I have no interest in finishing off Eureka I hope it's bind-on-use and sellable like the Pyros mount was.
more importantly look at the mount reward for the Baldesion Arsenal◊
And Absolute Virtue is making a comeback.
Derpy boy's spaced-out yet always screaming face is basically how I feel 24/7, so I feel like even if I have to drop 10+ mil, that's the part of this patch I want the most.

Having just come back to the game after a 2 year break. Eureka is a freaken daunting task... days of grinding and only level 17.
Yeah, I just couldn't get into Eureka. I have plenty of other classes I need to level; why should I relevel my main on enemies with hefty damage reductions, when my main is WHM?
On the other hand, I'm actually liking leveling my gatherers, so I can't say I'm opposed to repetitive grinding.
I feel like if Eureka had any reward other than gear it would have been so much better recieved, like letting you come in on an alt job and making a portion of the earned XP from N Ms go towards your job's real level
As it was, once you're past Pagos it's apparently smooth sailing, but if you're not super invested in the weapons and armor, there's not much for you
Iím in it for the FFV inspired story.
good news, Ozma Mount is tied to the achievement for clearing Baldesion Arsenal, so there's absolutely no rng involved
bad news: its still baldesion arsenal
Possible worse news: Someone claims you have to get 5 clears to get the mount.
Looking at the datamining site, it looks to just be the one clear achievment, only way to really know is once people start managing to pull out wins

Someone showed a twitch stream of a Japanese group doing AV and they all wiped to him with a 999999 damaging AOE. Someone is saying the group has to split into smaller parties to tackle the other bosses in the dungeon at the same time or AV gets massively buffed.
Pretty much what everyone expected. What wasnít expected though was a glitch (of dubious credibility) that an NPC in Hydratos may call you the wrong race, including Viera, and among them was a race weíve never heard about before called a Hrothgar. Iíd pull up the link but Iím at work on my phone and canít link surf, but itís on Reddit
got you covered fam

Thank you for that, now that I'm home, someone else also found this◊, if you translate the french is roughly says that Hrothgar are known for having "Majestic Manes", and Hrothgar translates from Norse to roughly "Famous Spear"
Suddenly the Ronso rumors from the Blufever leak are looking more likely. That or this is the mother of all Red Herring.

Guessing the job trainer for Gunbreaker will be a Hrothgar with a Leonhart name or something

Also worth mentioning the text in the first two screenshots uses Mon (male) for Viera and Ma (Female) for Hrothgar. While it is likely to be just be the values assigning player race screwing up (the entire thing is a glitch), it leaves it open-ended if we'll still get male viera, or if this Hrothgar race may be the male-only one-gender race to compliment female-only Viera.
Guess that FF11 NM!◊
Since everything seems to be falling into place with these leaks
I really hope they do something different with Dancer since that's probably going to be my new main.
People have suggested they could also be Dwarves, which would be an okay one-gendered male race and kinda fits in with the norse naming and "Majestic mane" thing.
But FF has always had a different concept of Dwarves by having their faces always framed in shadow and just showing their beards, or like how 9 shows them looking almost more like trolls or goblins, they'd likely fit a beast tribe better, unless they decided to go with Our Dwarves Are All the Same, which would disappoint me.
Either way, I find the entire thing kinda funny in an ironic kinda way, if that one line of code hadn't have been busted in those few single instances of one client translation, people would probably pass it off as a Red Herring in the datamined text (Which Koji-Fox has openly admitted to doing in the past to troll dataminers), but instead more or less confirmed we're getting a second new race of some description, which was probably going to be a gigantic bombshell next fanfest (unless you entirely bought into the Leak, which is now looking close to 100% authentic).
Something about providence and human error can be inserted there I'm sure, but I'm too tired to come up with it.
