Back on the topic of Marble Hornets itself, Troy posted this on his blog a few days ago.
http://jtroyw.blogspot.com/2011/01/quick-update.html
So expect the new entries in the coming weeks.
Well, I made a Blog now——> http://thedevilandgodare.blogspot.com/
Don't expect anything "Slendy" about it for at least a month or so, but still follow it!!
Name is a bit obvious.
Otherwise, I look forward to reading more of your BLARG.

Fight. Struggle. Endure. Suffer. LIVE.Archive binged MH as I said on the other thread, but this one seems more active. I actually do have a preexisting Tumblr account which I BARELY use. You think I should use that instead of creating a new blog? Also, how would be best to go about transitioning it into that type of blog? Like I said, it'll be text only because I can't do multimedia stuff.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.Enty 34.
Basically an episode of Nothing Is Scarier, there's no audio or visual distortions as far as I could tell, just all tension once he reaches the very foreboding house.

These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them. That house is disturbingly similar to the picture on the Nothing Is Scarier page.
I think thats a subway tunnel or something in the pic, though.
Also did anything paranormal actually happen in this episode? I remember there being a loud noise after he looked into the other room, but that was it. I think Slendy will make an appearance soon, cause Masky had his fun in Episode 33.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.I believe he tripped over a board on the ground or some such thing.
Damn near gave me a heart attack. Only in Marble Hornets.
...I don't see how'd that would work. Alex's house was like two stories. This kinda reminds me of the house from Manos the Hands of Fate though, from the outside at least.
...I wonder if Slendy would be so frightening if when he appeared, instead of A/V distortion, Torgo's theme began to play.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.I already posted this in the
in the marble hornets page, but I feel it is better adressed in a ongoing conversation
I also know is a bit late:
The scene with the hand at the door in entry 33, it is utterly scary, I am not saying it isn't... but even so, It just me who felt as a "cheap" and obvious way to cause terror? It happens exactly when the camera is facing the door (reminding us that this is a scripted story). Plus what is the point of doing so?
"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly.Willing Suspension of Disbelief? I mean, its clear to me he was just putting the camera down to open up the safe.
These are the words that shall come from my mouth. I shall be known for speaking them.
Putting the camera down to open the safe is fine. The problem is: putting the camera down to open the safe at exact direction and time to see the hand in the door. Plus, I don't see why masky opened the door further like that, when he could just walk him at any moment.

"Here to welcome our new golden-eyed overlords," said Addy promptly. The hand is too cliche. I'd have gone for one of two alternatives:
1) Have them put the camera on the floor. Being just on the floor facing the edge of the door is less distinct a shot and framing, it would actually feel like one of those "intentional amateur shots" where they have the camera facing up at a door knob for five minutes while the guy picks his nose or something. You don't expect it, then you see a foot poke through. A foot can appear around a corner without making you think omeone is going to peak around, twirling a moustache, wearing a top hat and cape.
2). Have Masky just appear. Pops around, we see him Jay doesn't. Give us a minute of "Holy Shit" and "Oh God, is he staring at us?"

Yep. You wouldn't believe how common those buggers are around here. The biggest one likes to bounce around all the time.
Wow, that was stupid.
