It's almost the perfect Tatsuya Ishida Strip!
It's paranoid to the nth degree
Has satanic conspiracy theories up the wazoo
Is misogynistic about women who don't kiss his ass
Uses photoshopped art
Whines about people giving him a well deserved kicking on social media
Is so self referential a newcomer would need a translation guide as to what the fuck they're seeing
And
Uses the magic TV screens with a passive woman observing
The only things missing are casual racism and half naked women displaying his misery porn fetish!

To be a bit more specific: Uses clone-stamped art.

How long before there's a Pettyfest of this?

Everyone: - "Big Tech is becoming an evil monopoly"
Tats: - "I agree!"
Everyone (cold palpitating sweat): - "Maybe Big Tech aren't so bad after all"

Skynet Is Inevitable. Skynet IS...Undergoing Repairs Atm.Please re-insert plug and rebootWow, how long has Story Time Zombie been MIA?
It's never a good sign when someone convinces themselves THEY'RE the only one who sees down the proverbial rabbit hole.
Once I, after a particularly nasty comic, stated that I wanted to hurt Tatsuya Ishida. I was rightfully reprimanded by the mods for that.
I no longer want to hurt Tatsuya Ishida. It'd be hard to top what he's doing to himself. Now I only pity him.
Platypi hold the secret to happiness.Tats is a real life case of Jerkass Has a Point.
There's some serious butthurt going on here.
What happened, Tats? Where did the Twitter hurt you?
Wow, The Bus Came Back very unexpectedly. I must remind myself about current-day Sinfest, so that I don't make myself too hopeful about the Storytime Zombie finally, finally finding his mommy.
Storytime Zombie has always seemed a very problematic character to me.
For one thing, what did he do that he deserved Hell?
For another, why isn't Hell searching for him? If word gets out that Hell can be escaped, won't that cause problems? (Larry Niven and Jerry Pournelle wrote a couple of novels based on this question.)
For a third, is he still damnation-worthy?
For another, it's always seemed to me that he looks and acts like someone with severe Down's Syndrome ... there are all sorts of land mines in that interpretation.
And for another, why do all the damned in Hell seem to be male? (Admittedly we mostly see their hands and arms, but still ... male.)
As I commented on Reddit: It's like Tats gave a speed re-read of his comic and got reminded of all the loose thread plots and is trying to get them all together and tied. And they're gonna TANGLE.
(I bet next comic will be Fuchsia, Criminy and Amber)
Well, we don't know how long STZ has been in Hell, so it's entirely possible he's been broken by his time suffering the deprivations therein. As to why Hell isn't looking for him... Which do you see as the worse place to live, there or Sinfest proper? (That can be taken as a joke or as a straight up observation given how much abuse STZ suffers. Someone more equipped to deal with that society probably would be yanked back. Whoever said Hell applied an even hand to it's rules?)
My take on this comic isn't that it has anything to do with what Tatsuya is currently experiencing.
This is more Q Anon stuff. I'm pretty sure what he's referencing is the outrage from the far right at relatives of insurrectionists from the 6th. There were many instances of close relations turning in their family members who had participated in the chaos. If you do a google search on this, you'll find a metric ton of anger being poured out by people who claim "I don't support the protest that happened at the capital, but turning in your own family is despicable."
I'd turn in my own family on a dime if they did it.
I'm with Destros on this one.
Explosive devices were planted around the capital, and people died. It's not like turning in your cousin over a parking ticket.
Tats seems to make the people wearing masks appear judgemental and evil because Tex wants to buy the toy gun, and they give him the stink eye. Or is it because he's mask-less?
This strip mostly makes no sense I can discern, except to make a couple of folks with masks look bad. Is Tex suffering some post-traumatic issue or remorse?

Skynet Is Inevitable. Skynet IS...Undergoing Repairs Atm.Please re-insert plug and rebootAgain it's interesting Tex is made more sympathetic, due to how he portrayed males in the last decade.
they're probably also meant to be seen as judgemental because he's msskless too, honestly.
Tats is so in love with Qanon that he's willing to portray a male in a sympathetic light.
He hasn't done this ever since he went SWERF and TERF.
Let that one sink in for a moment.
they're probably also meant to be seen as judgemental because he's maskless too, honestly.
<Shatner-voice> We. Just. Can't. Tell. </Shatner-voice> If Tats ever condescended to use actual printed words instead of muddled metaphors and flaky allegories on the Sunday page, we'd know what his message is. But nooooooooo ...
Tats has been into conspiracy stuff for a long time. How many years has it been since the Illuminati eye-in-the-pyramid drones first appeared? So it's not just QAnon, it's lots of other stuff, too. I'm surprised that with all his anti-pharma crusading, he hasn't come out as an anti-vaxer, too. ... Yet.
And watch out for those Lizard People.

& Tats is pretty easy to read when it comes to stuff you're supposed to hate though.
His detractors are zombies, mind controlled sheep barely even able to form a coherent sentence and always effortlessly flicked away by whoever bothers to lift a finger to do so.
This man though? Handsome. Hot wife. Chased the entire Patriarchy away by himself with a shotgun. Even here, while doing groceries without a mask the people wearing masks are painted without hands or identifying features, just judgemental assholes.
Technically Tats isn't jumping in your face with it, but given his decade long track record it's very obvious we are at least meant to like the Qanon dude.

Tagline: - "In a Time of Universal Deceit"
America - given a new lease of life by the Devil, in alliance with woke whorebots and snitches everywhere
Are we 100% sure Tats hasn't developed a crippling addiction to Q Anon theories? Because current Sinfest looks like it's built on them
Sinfest: - Where all the raving nightmares of the most deluded conspiropathic nutjobs are lovingly detailed by one of their own
As for the comic setup, person wanders past magical TV screens that magically potray Tat's latest mental health problem, I mean socially relevant issue of course, is repeated every few weeks. It's beyond boring as a framing device
P.S. If you joined Sinfest, say six months ago, the lady wandering around in front of the magic TV screens is the anthropomorphic incarnation of Liberty
P.P.S. "Report Hate" is clearly incorrect as a message.
This is Sinfest - it should be "Report Insanity"
