Reminds me strongly of an anecdote that was on BBC news once.

To paraphrase it, the owners of a brothel in Scotland wouldn't hire women that were too pretty because they'd get all the customers/money and the less pretty girls wouldn't.

It also shows a lack of understanding of basic economics on Tats and New!Pimp's part- if N customers have B money then they will only be able to spend B money: - Even if you saturate the market with H number of hookers there is still only B amount of money coming into the system.

All you've done is oversupply the market, introduced too much competition for Johns and given each girl less of an opportunity to make a decent living

I think he's trying to "show" that one girl isn't working as hard as the others, but he's managed to get it wrong

P.S. The lack of character names really makes it hard to empathise with any of these cardboard cutouts

She is free, dangerously close to becoming a real person narratively, and therefore is of no value to Tats as he is too thick to get any more onscreen misery out of here

Therefore he does need a new punching bag/powerless woman to exploit for his misery porn. If she, uh, had a name she'd be relatable to, and Tats doesn't want anyone to be able to relate to her.

P.P.S. The "Tats has a powerless woman fetish" sounds pretty likely to me. Few things are more disempowering than being nameless

And you know, if Tats decided to stick with the first nameless runaway hooker and get her arc finished at least this comic would have some godammn character development even if it wasn't on a character that was actually worth it. But this was so bad that he had to steal a development arc from Squigley to give it to her, and even then he messed it up big time.

Honestly, Tats has managed to avoid ACCIDENTALLY doing a decent story arc so consistently, I'm half convinced he's worked on Fallout 76 and Lucas Films after the Disney buyout.

Yeah, the continuity is very questionable.

He's not so much making a case against porn or prostitution, as what a great many people feel about going to work every day. OK, I guess if that's his intent, but it would seem to make porn or prostitution just another lousy job some people do.

I'll hand it to him, he's nicely summed up my feelings toward being in high school (even after 50 years, some of it still pisses me off).

Tats, weve been over this. If you want to make serious stories like a big boy, you need to maintain consistancy over your metaphors and meanings. You've well established by this point that the zombies are very much pro patriarchy, and you've also established that this girl's zombie mode is about on par with Tangie in terms of intelligence and ability to form sentences. You've messed up your consistancy on two levels here.

Tats tries to have metaphors as real things half the time and then reuses the same metaphors as actual metaphors two days later. Amd Vice Versa. He just doesn't seem to sit back and think about actions and reactions; or consequences to actions on anything more than a superficial level

The narrative consistency is not consistent, any new characters have no characterisation (or names), any new female characters are identi-kit, and the author tries to write "feminism" like a frat boy who just can't keep his mind off sex, male sexual domination and sexually submissive women

Feminism is far more than just being about your fetishes Tats.

The worst sin of all is he tries to fig leaf all this stuff with his "moral outrage" when it's blatantly obvious he's been obsessed with male domination (pimps) and female submission (whores) for decades now.

Idle thought: If Tats is creating some or all of these strips to please a hypothetical Significant Other, then I'll bet she isn't particularly busty.

Back in the first decade of Sinfest, the women and succubi — even Blue and Fuchsia (heck, especially Blue and Fuchsia) — were curvaceous and sexy. But in Radfem Sinfest, all of the women are A-cups at best. Even though Tats seems to enjoy drawing scantily clad women, seeing Sapphire in skimpy underwear isn't a particularly thrilling sight. (And Fuchsia looks like and dresses like a thirteen-year-old at summer camp.)

So, my hypothesis: Either Tats is drawing women to resemble The Most Beautiful Woman in the World, or he's drawing women in a way that won't trigger anger and/or jealousy and/or sads in The Woman He Has To Get Along With.

In actuality, Everything IS fine right now. At least if you decide to look at the broad spectrum rather than just micro-issues that you feel aren't good.

Heres a few just to get started.

1. Gen 4 reactors are in the news and are getting backing by people like Bill Gates, Gen 4 Nuclear use the waste from Gen 3 reactors to power them, meaning our hazardous materials are in use long before they have to be removed, and they are basically meltdown proof, needing EVERY SINGLE THING to go wrong at once for a meltdown to occur.

2. Fusion has gone from the realm of "we need more science" to "We need better engineering" and to go with that, 10 groups have stated they have figured out ways to create a fusion generator, and are in the process of working on it. We may soon actually have fusion reactors.

3. Global Warming has gained access to Carbon Scrubbers, 3 of which are already working and working at an "affordable level" with the upcoming years, we may see businesses going into blighted areas of cities, which will then provide both heats to greenhouses, and C02 stored to pipe it into the greenhouses as well, and any excess heat used to warm roads and sidewalks so that freezing during the winter will be a non issue.

But if your biggest issue is with sexism, or that you feel someone running the country is ruining it, then you don't see the brighter future we have in store.
